Description
This is a nice structure on a river that is well under used by those passing. Top location for a Bream or a crab hahaha. This location is tidal and maybe the cacher should check prior to venturing out. Please rehide as found to make a pleasurable find for the next cacher.

We think it's time that this one is removed. Seems it's missing and we just don't have time to get there to replace it. Sorry guys.
Given the DNF logs and the amount of time since this one has been found perhaps it's gone?
The so called hint was as good as useless in deciding if our GPS had us in the right area or not. The place is so over grown we gave up easily.

Second attempt for this one. I'm up and down this road quite a bit but never seem to have time to stop. Finally thought we'd better have a go a couple of months back.
Stopped and went for a clamber but tide was in a bit too much for a good hunt so left it for another day.
Today was another day and the tide was out, but apparently, so was my geo luck. Given the hint I didn't get down and dirty with the blackberries but had a good hunt around. Interestingly, my phone GPS indicted exactly the same spot as my Dakota 20 did on the last visit; halfway between a watery fence post and a wattle tree.
Probably just our cache blindness or vegetation growth, but I do note that there's been an eight month break in the logs, after a reasonably steady succession of finds. It'd be nice to have it confirmed that it is still there, as the next stage of the hunt is going to involve blackberries!

didn't realise this was a GCA cache when I did it. Mud wasn't too much of a problem, nor was finding the cache. I think it could do with a more waterproof container as the log was a little damp. Took the more direct, steeper route out to avoid the mud. Didn't see a single crab.
Im guessing the word mud will be used in most logs for this cache. but wow the crabs should rate a mention too as they were eveywhere and some of them were monsters Thanks for the cache
A quick find once I found a way to Gz. Low tide so no water to worry about and managed to stay relatively clean. TNLN. TFTC!
Came armed with gumboots after previous logs...used but didn't really need them as it turned out. Plenty of barbed wire about too...as the hole in my strides attests to....a permanent caching pair now it seems.
Cache is all well...TFTC...Cheers.

There's always a hard way and an easy one it's not till you approached a cache from the hard way that you find the easy one. Lovely winding estuary at low tide. Took nothing, left a hand made glass bead

Had a paddle to get this one, the tide was in a bit too much for joggers not to get wet! Had fun and enjoyed the find.

A quick find on our way up to the Tamar caching. Guess we lucked the tide as we didn't check and managed to retrieve the cache without getting muddy. Thanks. Had this one earmarked when we were camping at Port Sorell recently but never got there.
I have always thought about stopping here and starting a canoeing adventure with the kids so I was quite happy to stop, have a look around and find a cache. The defensive crabs were amusing with their gestures that they used until they found a hole to dive into and the grass flats proved to be a source of a lot of interesting sounds. I can not wait to come back with canoes and kids and go for a real explore. Thanks Landyclan for the cache.

Lucked out on this one, driving by on the way to the speedway and the tide was out, took a bit to find but got there in the en. TFTC
All good once more. We have changed the container this time. The Sistema container just didnt keep the water out.
Looks like we need a new container for this one. Second time it has been wet. Will get out there and repair and repost.
Found it but log was soaked and couldn't sign log

That was hard. The tide was IN so the retrieveal of the cxhe was very difficult. Dropped my pen in the water and there was no pen in the cache so had to retrieve pen and then write up
Log with a damp pen which continued to work. Tftc.

All good again. Replaced in a slightly different location. The new log was filled in with all the previous entries.
Am logging this as a find but couldn't write in the log. First tried at 6.30pm this evening but tide was right in. Came back at 10.30 and found by torchlight. I'm not sure if it's below the high tide level or if it was just the rain we've had. Shame, because it's a great hide but today it's a Ruby Can't.

Thanks guys for the info. Its a shame this has happened and we will our best to have it back up and online ASAP. When repaired and checked or moved we will re post. Sorry for the inconvenience
With keen eyes and spot-on coordinates, this was a quick find in a very good hide. Unfortunately the container had a significant amount of water inside and the log is saturated. We tried to sign the log with the pencil provided but that only started to tear the paper. A biro was useful. We don't know if the cache is below high tide level or it is in the path of runoff. Either way, maintenance is needed. We dried things off as best we could in a short visit.
