Description
A board walk on the canning river.
Kurrabup is Aborigional for "Black Swan Place" so I thought it is a fitting name. The Black Swan (Cygnus atratus) is a large waterbird which breeds mainly in the southeast and southwest regions of Australia. Congratulations to Briggbottoms for the FTF - thanks for the comments. Please take a photo of you or your Gps and be aware of the environment. To view this caches statistics go to gpscachestats.weebly.com and click on Kurrabup

A day of Virtual cache hunting had us heading to this spot early this morning. I must say the river was a bit smelly when we were here... TFTC

Rode by this location on my early morning bike ride. I've been here before to grab the GC cache here. Thanks for the cache.

Like the 'Old Bristol Kiln' I had taken a number of images to record a find on this cache some time ago but now cannot find them so called in today to do some more.

Found on a beautiful morning down by the river. Thanks for the chance to log a virtual.
We were in the area to do the GC Clontarf group of caches and found this lovely spot on the river.
Out and about today with Mr. Wileyclan, a full day of caching so that he could achieve a milestone.
I have watched this vitual for some time, but have not had the opportunity to grab it until today. We wandered down the nearby path, where I achieved a one from two on the GC catches here. Took this photo/
THanks for giving another reason to stop at this nice spot.

So today I headed north for a caching run with rudi63 in search of my 1000th find. We had a plan in place, go find caches. Seems like such a simple plan and it worked for us for the most part!!
After taking a long walk for a DNF to a nearby GC traditional, we came back here for this easy find. The requisite photo was soon taken and the area really enjoyed
Thanks for the cache
Cheers

I stopped by here today, but unfortunately the platform is inaccessible at the moment due to a broken plank. It's been taped off, but I took a photo from as close as I could get.
It was quite windy out today.

Nice view of the river, a bit cool with the breeze from the water

What a lovely spot. Certainly would not have dropped by here if not for Geocaching. TFTC

Nice spot, but I preferred the other side of the river. I too heard some off noises below...

Dropped by while on my way to another nearby cache, Lovely spot with the water lapping up the walkway. In fact the whole viewing platform was under water. When I arrived there was a shag sitting on the end of the platform drying its wings, I managed to take a few photos and left without disturbing it too much. Thanks for the bringing me to this spot one of those suburbs you drive by without calling in.
I suppose I can log this cache because I visit here regularly

Found tonight - lovely view across the water.
One of the kids with us became mildly freaked out after hearing some unidentified sounds so we had to leave sooner than we had predicted, shame really as the mosquitoes had been kind.
Thanks for the cache GPSearchers.
Hope the pics look ok.
