On the way to Townsville with LuckyL10n and stopped off for this one as well. No issues and the cache was soon in hand. Funky looking area around these guards.
Thanks for another one Journeyman53

#GA5609 - 16:05; Day seven of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. After a night in Nebo, we decided to press on to Townsville today. Polished off quite a few more in a GC series, then headed north with the occasional caching stop. After collecting another of the CO's caches further south, we stopped off to collect this one. It was in much better condition than the earlier find and we added our names to this one too as we passed by. TFTC Journeyman53

Didn't find many caches in Bowen but this quick and easy cache with big parking was the perfect one for travellers. A good hide for keeping a cache safe, it was in great condition. TFTC Journeyman53.

While staying near Proserpine we headed back to Bowen to try for some of the local caches without the van in tow.
We saw this GCA cache hadn't been found for a couple of years and were delighted to find it in clean, dry condition.
Many thanks for the hide Journeyman53

Can't believe how long since this one has been found. You can drive to within a metre of it and you are totally hidden from view for the find. While we were there the booms came down and a train passed. A nice solid container. Thanks.

Headed out with friends to fill up and picked this one up as we waited for them. Kids were too busy watching a DVD to get out of the car.
GeoDad spied it first.

I am not sure how I missed logging this one, but I am sure I found it on my way to Brisbane in July.
If a finder doesn't see my name in the log, let me know and I will retract the find, but I am 99% confident. I remember it well.

*FTF* Found on a Ulysses Ride to Bowen for lunch! Had a quick look where I thought it should be on the way past and then went in on the way home. The co-ordinates appear rather strange and said I was 147 km away, however with a bit of deduction and a lot of luck I was able to sign a First to Find on a GCA Cache. TNLN. TFTC.
