Today Swampy and I continued our plundering of caches between home and the northwest of the state.
On Day 2 of the plunderage, your cache was one of those that we found.
We worked our way around Ulverstone and Penguin finding caches as we went.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Today we found your cache .
VK7HCH and I hatched a plan to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA in the northwest region. We have been busy solving puzzles so we can find those and others. Day 3 has us at Penguin and heading home from Ulverstone and in between.

Beautiful day for caching ! The mountain is still wearing its hat so far, but quickly burning off. Coffees at Bossini's first then over to The Hub to grab this GA. No GC's left in town to log. Well placed cache didn't take too long to grab despite muggles moving about. All good at GZ. TFTC wattle99.

Our first GA find in Tasmania and a beautiful town to find it in. Thanks for the hide.
That's a nano for sure, tight scroll too. Bonus 1/2 price @ the Hub today!! TFTC SL
"Hello wattle99 thank you for the cache.
The cords were about 20m out but I soon worked out where I needed to be looking but a muggle was mowing her lawn over the road and then started to talk to another muggle.
After a while we gave up waiting and went for another look at another cache before coming back. By now the muggle had started on another lawn and EeePees made a very quick find.
EeePees and I were on a weekend away finding caches.
This one of your was on of many that we found.

Hi wattle99 and thanks for the cache, found with AlbyDangles on a caching weekend based at Gowrie Park, after transporting some Venturer Scouts to their statewide 'Venture' at Arm River Camp last night.
This one took a few attempts due to muggles and wayward coordinates wanting us to be behind buildings and fences. Used geosenses and the hint for an eventual find.

Today Trimbletas and I had a action packed day of caching planned. We started by doing some caches around Ulverstone then we moved onto Sheffield then it was off to climb the gog range to get the cache at the top and attempt to drive to granta pools which we did successfully. The two walkers that were at the pools were rather surprised when the bullbar of the ute came round the corner. After having a chinwag with them and grabbing photos, We then headed for lake McKenzie road so trimbletas could find the sail boat series. Did a maintenance check of all caches as he found them. Once completed we climbed up to lake McKenzie where we stopped to hide some moveables and locate the trig just off the road. Searched for a couple of other caches one the way back home. Overall a great day out was had. TFTC
Quick find this morning before our assault on the Gog range and beyond. TFTC

What a great mural and the history really interesting. No problem finding the hide.

Enjoying the view of snow on the nearby mountains as we spend time in Sheffield today. Have yet to visit all of the murals. tftc
#GA4062 - 15:20; Staying a couple of days with friends at Hawley Beach and headed over to Sheffield for a look around. Grabbed a couple of caches while we were there. After a walk up and back along the main street collecting a couple of GC caches, stopped off for this one and again a nice quick find and sign, but had to hang around before replacing the cache due to muggle activity. Thanks for bringing us back to this lovely mural town.
Last time we were here it was pre geocaching for us.
Today we looked for a couple of GC ones here with no success so I was delighted that Muggle Hubby found this one whilst I was acting decoy as photographer.
Thanks Wattle99. It was a very well placed cache.

Once I realised that the co-ordinates were a bit off after circling and seeing no way to access GZ. Checked out some previous logs and with the hint a very easy find.

After trying somewhere else first, I found a whole new level and the cache. Thank goodness for that hint, for as others have noted, GZ is about 20 metres out and needs correction. On Google maps your GZ is the other side of the building.
S41° 22.971' E146° 19.428' would be closer. TFTC wattle99.

Took a wander around the streets of Sheffield and this was our first cache find in town, The hint was excellent but I did have a tough time getting the log out. Signed and replaced, we then went into the Hub which was a treasure trove of goodies (I even picked up something to be used as a new cache container). Thanks for bringing us here Wattle99.

Second mural themed gca cache picked up in Sheffield today. The GPSr wasn't helping as had me around 20 metres short, the hint revealed this sneaky hide.. thanks..!!

We did like this mural, wattle99, and all the others too! Our GPS wasn't helping but the hint resulted in a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache.

Found the night before our big Dooleys hike, had a bit of time to wander around town so picked this one up. tftc
It was getting dark now with it being 21:24 but thanks to the good hint it was a quick find before heading off round town to grab a couple more.
Thanks for the cache.

Found what I thought the hint meant (obviously really) but no go finding the cache. Was interrupted during the search by a truck going into the nearby compound, but that really isn't an excuse. Oh well, you have days like that...
Thanks anyway Wattle99....

Sometimes we like to spread the caching pleasure, so this was a visit to Sheffield with a promise to find just one cache (though we'd never been caching here before). Maybe the fact that the "doctor's companion" wasn't present & not-the-doctor would be feeling slightly guilty if he snaffled the lot by himself had something to do with it. So this was the "just one" & a nicely hidden cache it was. As others have said, the hint was certainly handy.
Glad we had a hint with this one otherwise it could have been a long search. TFTC

Another great find by nano nick. Thanks for organising the cache. Loving our day in Sheffield.
Sorry about the confusion. I received an email tonightsaying that the cache had been found so of course enabled it. After going back and checking the date I realised that it was found in Sept. 11. No idea why I would receive an email tonight.
I've just done a return to show mrs22. Unfortunately we were unable to locate it.
This was our favourite mural. Thanks wattle99 for the tour of Sheffield.

Found at 9.48am with only 1 DNF so far. These are fantastic. Thanks for the caches

Nice easy find although Mrs 2T managed to grab a cocoon or spiders nest or something and the ensuing dance and high pitched song nearly brought all the muggles running.
Still she found it quickly afterwards and deserves credit for going back to the search.

First mural cache for this trip. Found quickly and took back to the NTrailTB to log.
Returning the cache to its hide was a little difficult so Tim Tam waited for the church go-ers to drive away before jumping out and putting the cache back.
Thanks for the cache

First find in the Mural Town series. A quick and easy find but slightly harder to return as the muggles were coming out of the church but got a break between and replaced cache unseen
This was the hardest in the series but eventually found on the second attempt. We tried it earlier and then went on the Post Office Park but tried again on the way back to the cachemobile. Success!!! TFTC
Next One!!
Funny, we have a restaurant at Nubeena by this name - The Hub.
Woofed up to this cache and sniffed it out real quick.
Pawed the log at 1310hrs. Put it back in its kennel and left in search of another Mural hide.

Geo Kid E wanted a day off as he had not had a sick day this year and thought it was unfair that his brothers and sisters had each had at least one day off sick. So for the last day of school for the term we decided to have a caching trip to Ulverstone, via Sheffield.
Thank you for the cache and for being part of our day out.
This is a great series. The cache is well hidden, although the muggle inside might have seen me through the window. Nice Dog picture!

A nice easy find in the company of red tag. Good clue. Thanks

Had to wait to grab this one, as the people across the road were outside. Located cache quickly and admired the mural as the other half logged and replaced cache.

I was dogged in my searching but I fear I was barking up the wrong tree. Still the mural is worth gazing over especially with the knowledge that over 1 and half million possum skins passed through these premises during its original trading life.
Thanks for the hide that I couldn't sniff out.

Made a quick find in the pouring rain. It made all the difference having a discussion of this one with a mate. Thanks wattle99 for giving us all these caches.

A quick find just had to keep an eye on the guy across the road who was preparing to mow his lawn. Guess the locals have that many people looking at their murals that they don't take a lot of notice. Thanks.
2nd find so far...though wasn't where I expected. Another top mural...many thanks wattle99...Cheers.

We have not seen this mural before so it was nice to pick up a cache at the same time. This one took us the longest to find and log! No muggles to hinder our search. Thanks wattle99 for the cache.

had more trouble getting log out than finding and signing. tftc

Had to pull the pin on looking for this one as a group deceided to have some sort of meeting on the corner near the cache. We had to get home so left without a find BUT WE WILL RETURN.

We had planned to come to Stoodley later in the day to collect pine needles for the garden but some new caches in Sheffield resulted in an earlier departure and a deviation into Sheffield. Spot-on coordinates led to a quick find. We enjoyed the mural - we hadn't seen this one before as we had stayed mainly in the main street on previous visits. FTF at 9:05am. Thanks wattle99 for this and other caches in what has been a neglected area.
