Description
this one is up the other end of lovets flats where there is a motorbike track that the locals have worm into the ground.
very nice open area here, could sit by the river banks with a rod in the water all day.

i noticed that it hasnt been logged since before the 2016 floods so there is a fair chance it has been washed away.
a check by CO is needed and possibly a replacement.

Searched the area for this cache, i know this track very well as im a local in the area couldnt find it anywhere.

Hi moeyy
A six day caching trip had me travel 1675km around the West and North West Coasts of Tasmania.
Places visited included Hagley, Latrobe, Ulverstone, Burnie, Waratah, Savage River, Corinna, Yolla, Wynyard, Oldina, Boat Harbour, Sisters Beach, Gunns Plains, Sheffield, Natone and Lovett Flats.
Eight caches only found on day one, 19 on day two; day three got me ten, 11 found on day four, 48 to date.
This was the 53rd cache to be found, total caches found 55.
Parked at your other cache near the cattle yard and walked to the cache. The track was puddle ridden as was some of the area around GZ. Lots of wood hooking had been going on.
A quick find was had, Sainting the cache and signing the log at 1420hrs.
Enjoyed this one too. Now to get out before the rain falls again.

Found on lovely winters day - a fascinating place!
We walked in from Lovetts flats roe big hill, avoiding the big hill refered to by 3DG, unfortunately we didn't have time for the nearby Stumpy ! Oh well, an excuse for next time !

Walked in from Native plains road following the powerline track.
Gee....wasnt that last hill steep....I dont know which was worse....going down or climbing up.
It was all good exercise though.
Cache still safe and sound.

We left our car where the road first neared the river and walked. It was such a beautiful day and a very enjoyable walk. We were escorted along part of the way by two small flocks of black cockatoos (their easy flying style and formations always reminds us of Lancaster bombers) at times warning others that we were approaching, at other times telling us in no uncertain terms that we were coming into their territory. The one down side was the damage done by the boys (presumeably of both genders) and their 4WD toys. We could not see how anyone could drive to the cache in anything less than an army tank, let alone as suggested in one log, a 2WD. But, why would you want to drive when a very pleasant and relaxed walk could be taken. Once at GZ a quick find was made. TFTC
Came in from the north...but took the wrong track in and had to hot foot from there....a good walk anyway...nice stretch of the Mersey. Easily to hand with good co-ords again. Nice location at gz...many TFTC Moeyy...Cheers.

Frog was at work so Chook found this one with Beetles2, nice ride on the ATV on a beautiful day.
Had an enjoyable day out on the atv today which made this cache a drive-by for us. TFTC

Drove the 2wd ute as far as we could then walked a short distance to GZ. Puddles were frozen and Geodogs got a nasty shock when they broke the ice! *FTF* at 10.30 am TFTC
