Description
We have placed this cache near a walking trail overlooking Frederick Henry Bay. You can park at the suggested coordinates for a short, slightly steep walk to GZ S42 52.851 E147 30.269. Track may be slippery if wet. You can also park at the Lauderdale Yacht Club and join the track there for a slightly longer walk to GZ. The walking trail actually starts at the Lauderdale Canal and ends at the western end of Seven Mile Beach if you wish to take in more of the Lauderdale beach and track. Please be mindful that you will be walking in an area with cliffs, keep an eye on the kids and enjoy the spectacular view. Please bring a pen.

Found with Newy07 on our last chance of scoring any fire shots for battle ships game. Hope we’re not a sinking ship! A huge thanks to everyone in Tassie for their amazing efforts to give players a chance to win. It has been so much fun!

out and about with the Rafas, this cache was in the sights, what a rock star this was, nice hide and camo. TFTC TNLN log dry
The GeoGSP and I have walked past this cache many times, it was so close! Today, decided it was a GCA day, and finally put those co-ordinates in and found the cache. Being a lovely evening there were a lot of muggles on the track but we were happy to spend some time around GZ and enjoy the views as we waited for the right time to retrieve and sign the log. Thanks for putting this cache here Whitewebbs.

Hi whitewebbs, thanks for this cache, a nice hide, nice location, nice views, and a nice track. Found a few caches today, nearby, and a little further afield, mostly with AlbyDangles before being joined by Lil Rafa for a most enjoyable day.

We walked down to the track from Kirra Road and found a GC cache and then went a bit further to have a look for this one. Gee it’s nearly 2 years since this great cache was last found. Aus2 initially dismissed the hide, I bet you know what he did, – shame on him as we have one very similar! A more careful second look revealed that cache. All good with the log. Thanks whitewebbs.

Nice quick find thanks to the good hint. We love the outlook from GZ and we were impressed with the cammo. TFTC
this is a great walk along the beach, climbing rocks and just exploring the area. All is good here just a little damp. signed with group of cachers

Didn't look for this one when we did the trail in Jaunary so back we came today. Made a quick find with the aid of the hint, loved the hide. Also loved the view down the bay. Very peaceful spot. TFTC
Found while doing the nearby trail. Easy find overlooking a lovely little bay. TFTC
Found today on the long treck from Lauderdale to Seven Mile Beach and return. Lovely tiny beach below. Cleverly constructed cache, the sort I love and want to do myself one day. TFTC (and excercise)
Bloody long trek from seven mile beach. Nice view of the bay though and a cool hiding place i
A good cache design, took two looks to confirm. It must have taken a bit of work to prepare. A scorpion hiding there gave pause for being careful with fingers when getting the log.. TFTC whitewebbs
This was a day to complete the caches on the track between Seven Mile and Lauderdale, plus a couple of Australian ones in the area. As there was a bit of spare time left we did a walk to collect a couple of "Amongst the Fir Trees" from Five Mile Beach, just as the wind once again picked up to crabby strength.

We hadn't had the opportunity to explore this section of the foreshore track previously. It is a lovely part of the coastline and we particularly liked the small bay. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a cleverly designed and well constructed cache. TFTC whitewebbs.
Found that this one had been replaced after we were here last to find a nice hidey hole but no cache. Good plan moving it because I think the new area is heaps better. Thanks for the cache

Second time around we found it. We knew we were in the correct area, it was just a matter of narrowing down GZ.
Was a little windy out here today and once again, the climb back up the hill to the NTrailTB showed us that we need to walk some more.
Thanks for the cache

Wow! The sizes of the houses, the driveways that are better than the roads and the tennis courts galore! What a wonderful place to be able to live. What a great track along the shore and what a view. Sat at GZ after quickly finding the cache and wondered what it would be like to live in such a pituresque place. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
A very nice spot indeed for a cache, and a great place to cache on Corduroy Day - ie. 11/11/11 is the date that looks the most like corduroy!
I was most surprised by the number of homes with tennis courts that I spotted as I drove to the suggested parking coordinates!

My first find for a week - I was getting the shakes!
After failing to find ASCII Wetlands, Mrs RC and I drove around towards Rock-a-by Bay.
On my previous visit, I had aborted the mission after parking, as I couldn't find a pen, but this time I was well prepared.
We walked down together in the very muggy heat, somewhat concerned about the climb back up (though it wasn't too bad in the end).
Close to GZ, the lovely little beach became visible, and Mrs RC suggested it looked like a great spot for skinny-dipping, but we didn't have time.
I quickly found the cache, hidden nicely away, and sat on a nearby log to sign the log.
Then back to the car and, alas, to work...
Thanks WW, and nice to met you the other night.

Have checked on the cache and it is there. I don't know how, except for the cache fairy that must have visited. Have moved from original position to avoid a return visit from the cache fairy who might have been told (perhaps)by a Mum fairy to return what they had found, to where they found it. Updated the hint also. Happy hunting.
Interesting, very interesting log from red tag. Mr W check on cache on Monday, 10 October after last DNF and cache was definitely gone! Perhaps there is a cache fairy as it has not been replaced as yet. I have emailed red tag to clarify a few details. If it has reappeared then it can be enabled.
Not quite sure how I did this but I found this today ... maybe whitewebs has replaced it but just not updated page...
anyways the find was quick and then I spent some time replacing rocks that had been previously turned over and not turned back ... the cache and the area is all as it should be again

Did a check on our cache today. Lovely day for a walk. Thought we had better check after last DNF as doing other caches in the area. Cache is still there, remember it is not a traditional container.
could not find this cache unfortunately due to having to get home before dark. started at the yacht club it was a nice walk with my parents and dog(Axel)
(i think i found the rock but just not the cache)

I had wanted to check this track out for ages, and interestingly, Maddie and I jogged along it for the first time only about a month ago. At the time, I thought it was a pretty good location for a cache, so was surprised and pleased when one came up almost immediately! Thanks whitewebbs - you did a really neat job with the hide. It was nice to walk some of it again today with the DDT's, taking the beaches for some of the return journey (I think that might have been Maddie's idea). They're lovely beaches along there too. Thanks again for the cache.
This was our first stop during our caching afternoon with Dippy and Maddie. We approached from the shorter direction, and then from the longer one as Maddie thought that a walk was in order! We looked under various rocks and logs and eventually came up with the goods. A nice hide, thanks. TNLNSL
Bother.
Parked at the end of the nearby road after being up the hill for Lone Box, got out of the car, THEN read the description saying I needed a pen.
I searched my pockets and the car for one (twice) but no joy - so I sadly drove away to leave it for another day.

A lovely day for a walk by the bay, track was dry and we were soon at GZ. Once there we located cache quickly as we had an idea what we were looking for. Very impressive hide Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache

I parked at the suggest coordinates, and even though it had been raining this morning the track was perfectly dry. Cache was located without too much difficulty as I had a pretty good idea of what I might be looking for.
This is such a pleasant location, and it had turned into such a nice day that I decided to follow the track towards Seven Mile Beach for a while. I actually ended up going all the way to the end at Seven Mile Beach and found "11.265 Kilometre View" by Snuva before heading back.
Thank you so much for bringing me here

Hi whitewebbs
Loved the area in which this cache was placed. No wonder Budgietas said he was surprised there was no cache there already. The walk was easy, even though the track was a little wet but plenty of ground either side not to have to slip and slide to the cache. My walking pole helped too!! (They don't call me "OLD"Saint for nothing!!)
The cache took a little bit of time to find, but you could see where Budge had been in his search, so that made it a little faster for me.
Found and logged the beast at 1021hrs.
A little drizzle did not dampen my enthusiasm but made good photography a little dismal. Will definitely return to get better pics in the near future.
Definitely a cache to be visited by all!!
Meantime, thanks for the cache, the walk, the exercise and above all a great place to visit; cheers OldSaint.

Well I collected a gnome from a very close location to this cache, and in my log said this area needs a cache. Within 4 hours one was published.... Hows that for service.
Anyway today was very wet and overcast, making retrieving this cache a challenge in more that one way. Firstly timing the excursion between a break in the showers which resulting in a dry walk (except under foot) to the cache. Walking down the hill was exciting as the wetness and slope meant I was more trying to stop running / falling down the hill not simply walking. Once at the bottom I past the gnome hiding spot and arrived at ground zero after a VERY VERY slippery walk up the track.
I hunted for a while for the cache and evntually I decided that I should look there next and low and behold there was the cache. Great hide Whitewebs, very impressive.
Wandered back along the slippery track and back up the hill. Twice up this hill in the weekend was certainly ensuring exercise was being taken!!!
Thanks for the cache white webs. Photos Attached
