Logs
After a DNF 2 years ago (thanks for replacing) we finally have crossed this one off - it has been one of the closest unfounds to us here for ages.... Samuel got up there and found it today, coordinates about 30m out by my reckoning - follow the description of where the cache is, or try around 33 42.718 150 19.995....
Found It!
The coordinates seemed a bit out here, or at least they didn't match the tree described in the hint anyway. After a lot of searching in the tree, I spotted a bison tube just sitting on ground in the open. After signing the log in it, I put it back in the tree under a rock.

No luck for us. I wasn't sure what we were looking for, and the only tree with a fork up a bit high was way off coords wise? I scraped a huge amount of composted pine needles out, but no cache. I did manage to strain my triceps trying to climb up between the railway fence and the tree though!
Out doing a few caches with rogerW3 today so came back for another look after the CO had done a cache check. Searched around a bit before the cache was located. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC pjmpjm
'Cache creep' seems to have happened here. Cache container replaced in the correct position this afternoon. You're looking for a largish 'small' screw-top container.
I'll fix this cache up in the next few days. Looks like it was muggled again, only a few months after I replaced it.
Unfortunately, this cache looks like maintenance maybe required.
To ensure future finders have an enjoyable experience in both finding the cache and visiting the area, a check on this cache is recommended.
If the cache still seems to require maintenance within 28 days, Geocaching Australia will archive the cache to stop it appearing on cachers lists / PQ's.

In Leura again today and caught up with rogerW3 for help looking for a few caches. With both of us looking we couldn't find this one.
Found the cache badly damaged today. Will have it up and running again within 48 hours.
the tree has very recently been loped. couldn't find the container. possibly it has been lost
found with geosister and dad. It was on the ground, which made it very easy to find!!!

When we arrived at this one, it was on the ground at the base of the tree. We signed the damp log book and placed it tightly in a branch of the tree. TFTC

Quick find and I also did the scan. Thanks for the Cache! Great that there are a few GA Caches out here.
Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. We got to where the GPS said, however we couldn't find anything at that location. After expanding our search for a little bit (based on the information of the hint), I made the find just as we were about to give up. TNLNSL. TFTC Pjmpjm!

Day 2 of a run around the cerberus mountains with Toy Hunters grabbing all manner of caches.
Walked down the street and started the search.....then tried again a bit further down....and with the aid of the fleet foot young Toy Hunters, the prize was soon in hand. Log was signed and all was good. Another GCA Puzzle cache, happy with that, thanks PJMPJM....

found on the way home from a trip up to Mt York stopped for the find took a little while to retrieve harder to see in the dark. Eventually got it for the sign. It was a bit damp inside but I was able to sign.

2nd time lucky. The munzee thingy was not able to be scanned, but I guess that's a blessing for me, as GC and GCA are keeping me busy enough. I had a decent look for MINI fright, then came home to find it gone from the map. Archived?

found it but log book was wet so couldn't Wright on the log

Been looking for this before. I never logged a DNF. It was fate that it had a munzee, now that I can log them. I was looking for a munzee but new this hide was here. Maybe the clue in the munzee had at the right spot or maybe I am more experienced. TFTC and TFTM.

Found that this one had migrated a bit, so -- after a drying out -- put the container back into its proper place.
Remember that it's also a Munzee . . . so you can get two logs for one find!
Drove around Katoomba and Leura today doing cache maintenance with rogerw3.
This one was just fine.
Found with my boy Zalgar.
Sorry, Im so far behind with my logs Ive decided to cut'n'paste to catch up!

Poor Tron never seems to have luck with the Munzees Zhaoy and I had no such worries grabbing the cache from its cool hiding spot and capping the Munzee too. No trains to worry about, and the location screened you well from passing muggles too which was a bonus on a busy Spring afternoon in Leura.

Nice hide. That freight train startled me as it was so close you could almost touch it. Talk about noise pollution! Rogpol did the honours of retrieving this. I tried to capture the munzee but the app wouldn't let me claiming I was too far away. Huh???? I was right beside GZ. Stupid phone GPS doesn't recognise GZ. I think I'll just stick to caching!

This evening I checked the coords for this one, as published on the Munzee site, and they're correct. Am not sure why this afternoon we were told that the cache was out of position. Will continue to check up on it.
I know that the GCA published coords (on this page) are very accurate.

A nice quick find.
Nice tree and great container.
It can be very noisy here !!! (as a freight train passes by)

Parked on Railway st and made a quick way to GZ where I found the cache quickly. I think this is just a trad cache. TFTC.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. As we don't have a smart phone we log this find as a GCA Traditional cache. Munzees will have to wait until another day. TFTC pjmpjm.
Fixed up the Munzee component today.
I really think this is a great hiding place.
Hope it survives!

Have replaced this container and included a brand new log book, and it's in a place that should make things a bit more difficult for the muggles!
An 'upward scramble' is required. But don't go anywhere near the fence.

Had a look around for this one, first by myself and then with the help of rogerw3, and I guess it's gone.
Will replace both the GCA component and the Munzee Qcode in the next 48 hours or so.

Came to find this one to see what this Munzee thing is all about.
Quite a lot of muggles about so took some waiting to get in and out unseen.

While I tend to neglect GCA caches, I can't imagine playing Munzee. What technological soulless evil is this? This is like automated teller machines that pretend to talk to you; like robotic teenagers who serve at McDonalds and wish you a "nice day";like quartz brained accountants or flower crushing solicitors who breathe logic-befuddling vapours on the very hearthstone of common sense? Where is the play, the dance, the song and voice? What would geocaching be without those individuals who create - their containers, their hides, their histories and stories?
It would be Munzee, an electronic blip in the great blipness of modernity.
But thankyou pjmpjm, for the cache. That was most appreciated, as always.

Just logging as a cache, as my iphone will not run the munzee app. Nice easy cache to find, near a couple of extremely nice looking houses.
Thanks pjmpjm

A nice quick find, but I knew I would be beaten by the Mad Micro Hunter, rogerw3!

I was at a bit of a loose end today so decided to go down to Leura for a short walk to Wentworth Falls.
This new cache was quite easy as I knew GZ quite well it was in and sure enough there it was, signed the log, I may have put in the wrong date of 13 instead of 12, I blame old age, if the next finder can check on this and change if required.
I ignored the Munzee part of it as I do not have the required newfangled device to make it work.
Signed log and managed to find enough room to leave my signature Pathtag.
Thanks for the cache pjmpjm.
