Description
This cache is for those sports you might see on the way to another cache. I often see people windsurfing near here. When I was south I saw lots of hockey and football and of course lots of golfers while looking for caches.
Your log does not need the gps in it but it does need the coords of the area and hopefully some information.
Log as many times as you like but only one log per location i.e of you see three games of golf at three different courses feel free to log a photo at each course separately. We are looking for variety here.
Happy hunting

SOUTH KENSINGTON

Walking past J C Holland Park South Kensington I saw this cricket match in progress. Nt quite up to 1st Grade Level or Test team level but quite good cricketing skills (I have seen a lot worse) was displayed by the participants. The main object of the activity all players seemed to be enjoying themselves. I have no idea who the teams were or who won.

I was looking for a cache near a sports oval. I was a little off track and found three golf balls in the undergrowth. I eventually found the cache and avoided being hit by practice golfers. Thanks for the cache Corunnaroad
EVANDALE
TASMANIA
I was in the area after a recently published GC cache when I could hear a game being played. It was not far to detour to get to this game of Australian Rules Football being played by Evandale vs Meander. At the time I was here it was into the thrd quarter with Evandale in the lead by 10 points.

I was in the area after a newly published GC cache and noticed that these two tennis courts were being used. I am sure not up to the standard of the Australian Open but Iam sure being enjoyed by the participants.

Prince Alfred Park, just south of Sydney's Central Railway Station, has a pool and a number of walking and cycling paths. Around midday you'll see many people relaxing in the sun enjoying lunch. There's also a kid's playground, tennis courts and basket ball courts etc. There are often people playing various sports of the grass, I imagine organised by staff of various companies or perhaps are inter-organisation competitions. I know some people at my office used to play soccer in the domain, but I think that stopped happening after a couple of people copped broken legs.
Anyway, today whilst walking through the park some people started up some sort of game of touch rugby (as per pic). They had initials on their tops, eg I was wondering what postion "EF" might be, until I realised they all were wearing EF tops. TFTC

A game of junior girls/boys soccer at Hampden Park, Robertson, NSW. I was here watching my sister play.
I was cruising past here tonight and the place was absolutely happening!! Not bad for a Bowls Club. There were people of all ages having a game and I took a quick sneaky picture before heading on my way. TFTC Corunnaroad
While caching in Sylvania today, i came across these guys...the look like they are getting ready for the season ahead.
Just found Wet Your Whistle (GA0115) - not literally, just a pic, and was on our way for Did You Know that's a Stream (GA9600) when we found Game On. Not a big game on, just a small town event.....lawn bowling at the Uralla Bowling Club. They would have been glad it was a morning game and not at 3.30 or the game would have come to a sudden halt by a wild and windy downpour.

This is my local park where they were kicking a soccer ball around so I assume they were playing soccer? I'm not a big sports fan so I'm not sure! I was on my way to hide a cache when I noticed them
Walking around the local area looking for some more good hiding places and came across a cricket game where the young ones were in 38 degree heat. Legends as they say.

Tumbulgum, NSW
We stopped off at the Tumbulgum Sports Field because I knew they had a set of memorial gates which would satisfy the Memorial Gates scavenge for this week, in the process discovering the annual ‘over the bridge’ -v- ‘around the corner’ cricket game. It looked like all players and spectators were having a lot of fun. I would have liked to have stayed but there were caches to find.

#GA1220 - 21:20; Grabbed a couple of snaps at Etihad Stadium for the KFC Big Bash game between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars. The roof was closed and the temperature must have been in excess of 40 degrees. The fire streams just made it hotter! TFTC corunnaroad

I found a game of cricket going on at Roseville Chase oval in Sydney this afternoon. Hardly any spectators though so I doubt it was a first grade game! In fact a google search tells me it was Roseville Navy v Old Ignatians whoever they both may be. Thanks corunnaroad.
Located a golf game on today at Windsor Golf Club.
Walking across the William Barak Bridge with my auntie, uncle and cousin we stopped to look at the tennis. We were on our way to Yarra Park to look for some geocaches and then to watch the Melbourne Stars play cricket at the MCG.
Out and about for the Summer Scavenger Series 206/17 and snapped this game of cricket being played at the Mowbray Cricket Club - Ricky Ponting's old playing ground.

We were on our way to hunt for GC16VKN "Creek Meets Bay" when we came across a cricket match between Kettering (in blue) and Snug (in red). Given the time of the year, we presume it was a final. Kettering was batting but, unfortunately, were not faring very well. After we found the cache and we were leaving, Kettering were 3 for 31 after 18 overs. Two photos have been added to the gallery: the match from the boundary; our GPS showing the cache to be 251m from our vantage point.
Hi corunnaroad
On our way to collect the cahce GC3CCZ7 "Oakie Dokie", situated next to the Westbury Cricket Ground, Westbury, Tasmania; a cricket match was in full tehter. We didn't stay around to find out which team eventually won the game, but my better half loves cricket and enjoyed watching the game while I extracted the cache and signed the log.

Leura Golf Course
Leura, NSW
Considered the best golf venue in the Blue Mountains, the Leura Golf Course was recently bought by the new owners of the adjacent Fairmont Resort and leased back to the Leura Golf Club. This should ensure the finanical viability of this long-time golf course.
Rain over the last couple of days has thinned the numbers of golfers, but there was enough sunshine today to lure out a few of the die hards!

Laid up at the moment having chopped my leg instead of the block. I saw these fellows using the wind to sail the currents above Hill 60 at Port Kembla. The fellows in tandem are using a paraglider, the one behind a hang glider. There were a dozen or so floating around & it was very calming to watch.
I had just found a moveable - Versteckspiel GA2231, relevant log 27/11/10.
Thanks.
