Description
2011/12 Moving Cache Race Entrant.
2011/12 Moving Cache Race Entrant.
Red Throated Ghost Frog.
Red throated Ghost Frog is not as friendly as he might seem. That isn't natural red colouring on his throat....
Be very careful not to turn your back on him, and make sure you move him on as quickly as possible. You do NOT want him becoming too familiar with your habits or your features.
Dont worry about nice surroundings for him, just get him away from you.
Rules (not guidelines)
- Your cache must be a genuine, bone fide frog. It may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2011 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time).
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2011.
Please contact an administrator if you would like to know how to accomplish this. - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEST.
- The game administrators' decision is final.
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the cache mover may move your cache back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days

Logs
This one is definitely not at the posted location, as far as I can see. I went to have a personal look to make sure. I can't understand what happened with the logs and the frogs, so am archiving this one.
After a long period of hibernation (sorry about that), Red Throated Ghost Frog is on the move again. Why should the Gnomes have all the fun?
LuckyLion shared this one at the event today...thanks

Found about 9:45pm in the hands of LuckyL10n. Will grab for moving onwards. This would be a nice cache to be finding when out and about. Visited the geobuddy on the way out to do some GC finds and he had some GCA movables on hand. Nice looking frog.
Thanks for the cache.

Why is this Frog haunting me? here he is again, I will have to find a spot for him a long way away from here.

My favourite frog came to Lithgow for another visit and stopped off here for a nice coffee.
With absolutely no time to find any trigs, this was a very quick trip today. Thanks JAC, I always rather liked this frog so it's good to have him over for a bite to eat tonight

Wow that is a LOT of caches my BB brought home! I would have gone too but some of us had to go to work. Now my house is full of Gnomes, frogs, Bingos and Angels! I’m going to have to do something about this and start hiding them again before they take over our unit once and for all!
Operation: Dawn of War (Clan Phoenix Gnomeland Raid)
Cache Condition: The Sydney Swan Frog has copped a punch to the nose! I gave him a scrub and a fresh baggy for his log so he should be fine for a while yet!
Operation Summary: Leaving Sydney at 4am to reach The Gnomelands by dawn I kicked off the 'The Great Mount Piddington Moveable Challenge' with a raid of freedom to release over 60 moveables from their mountain prison to freedom. 4.5 hours of morning caching saw a good few sack-fulls return with me to Sydney.
The caches have been moved to St Leonards for some TLC and a bath so don’t go looking for them there. They will be released shortly in various locations.

Found on a fourth day forage within the Gnomelands ... fearful of retribution from the Disenchanted Gnomes, taken in hand only for a photo op. Waiting to say 'Boo!' TFTC
Rated: for Overall Experience
Red Throated Ghost Frog has joined with a group of disenchanted Gnomes in the occupation of this tract of land, the aim being to secede from Australia and create their own independent country.
However with Gnomes in charge this may turn into a dictatorship, it remains to see if emmigration is greater than immigration.
However with Gnomes in charge this may turn into a dictatorship, it remains to see if emmigration is greater than immigration.
Red Throated Ghost Frog has joined a mass exodus of moveables led by renegade Gnomes, who knows what they plan to do? They are all in hiding for now while hatching their nefarious plans. No point looking for any of them they are nowhere to be found until they are ready to reveal their ultimate goal.

Hidden in a spooky place that will be sure to terrify anyone who want to go find this cache.
I found this in Daddy's computer room. We want to go out tonight and rehide him somewhere nice.

A very late log. So sorry for the delay. Bingo and a trip to Queensland got in the way of doing things in a timely manner. I hope to get this cache back out tonight (depending on the weather).

Found this one on a table full of gnomes and frogs at the Adelaide Pub Lunch event.
Found amongst an amazing collection of moving Froggy freinds that hopped onto the table at today's pub lunch! The jumpers were enjoying the wintery Adelaide conditions and looking forward to finding new homes in the South. Thanks to Black Bunny for bringing them down.
