Description
SW UNDERCOVER SERVICE
Butterfly Springs is a gorgeous outback billabong on the Nathan River Road. A beautiful spot for a cool swim in the shade of granite cliffs and thousands of Black Crow butterflies which cling to the rocks.
There is a NT Parks & Wildlife campsite here to spend the night, and this cache was planted with permission, in a non-environmentally sensitive location, (there is also another GC here in a more wonderful location , we weren’t the first!).
Cache is Plastic container containing Savannah Waytags, first find, first claim.
If Waytags are all gone, email photo of you holding the cache to [email protected] and I will send you a by snail mail.

I detoured into the campground this morning for a look-see
Beautiful location
And after a wander around the waterhole to take some pictures I returned to GZ to seek the cache.
I checked the BIG rock next to the gate then poked around a few other spots, but with no luck
Maybe I should have dug deeper ?
The remains of a termite mound may have been covering the cache, but a good poke with a stick revealed no plastic !!
