Description
SW CARPENTARIA POT
This cache is located in the grounds of the Savannah Way Motel.
We stopped here for some cooked food after several nights bush camping and it was amazing – a full Chinese Banquets, as good as anything in Sydney Chinatown!
Owner Trish is now a GC friendly Muggle and will be guardian in this remote spot. But these are business premises, so Trish would appreciate you not coming looking when they have closed the doors for the night. And beware of prying eyes from the open air restaurant!
Cache is Plastic container containing Savannah Waytags, first find, first claim. Plus a little something from Trish.
If Waytags are all gone, email photo of you holding the cache to [email protected] and I will send you a by snail mail.

Logs
As we head to QLD from WA along the Savannah Way we are grabbing a few caches as we go to break up the long drive.
As we had stayed at Heartbreak Hotel just down the road we got here not too early. Trish had forgotten all about this cache and thought it had gone missing up I pointed to the pot and when she lifted it she was surprised it was till there.

Will claim a 2tf on this many years after the ftf. Tried to look around without drawing attention but after being asked if we wanted reception we decided to just ask for Trish. She was a bit stumped at first but then remembered what we were talking about. She didn't think it was there anymore but took us to the spot and all was well!! Had a lengthy talk to her about things in general and geocaching and then we were on our way. Thanks heaps, wish there were more out this way, guess they just too hard to maintain.

We tried to stay at this establishment but they were all full. Spoke with Trish after finding the cache and the mandatory photo was taken. We left the free burger for the next person. SL TFTC T Tag
