Description
SW CURIOUS GORGE
Simon Terry and his staff run a Ranger Station with accommodation at Cobbold Gorge, a very strange and bizarre looking watercourse through ancient weather shaped rocks.
Obviously, we did not plant in this sensitive area but there is a Savannah Way GC waiting for you on the property.
There is also another GC someone else left but we couldn’t find it.
Our SW Cache is Plastic container holding Savannah Waytags, first find, first claim. Plus some interesting odds and ends.
If Waytags are all gone, email photo of you holding the cache to [email protected] and I will send you a by snail mail.

Found and replaced brittle broken cache container. TFTC TNLN SL
Rated: for Overall Experience
What a wonderful place this Cobbold Gorge is. We spent the morning on a walking/cruising tour. I have been on tours with guides before but none as knowledgeable as John. It certainly is not to be missed. Having hidden from most of the midday heat, I took a stroll to see if I could find this 2 year unloved cache. Oh so easy. Unfortunately the cache is brittle and broken and the log at some stage has been wet so the first few pages are stuck together. I don't have anything this size, but will endeavour to replace the cache before we leave on Monday. Happy International Geocaching Day everyone. I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I have.
