Rules (not guidelines)
- Your cache must be a genuine, bone fide frog.
- Your frog may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2011 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time)
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2011
Please refer to the Geocaching Australia wiki for more information - You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2011 and add the word leapfrog to your cache tags
The later you enter your frog the less time there is to get it moving, so you are encouraged to enter the game at the commencement - You are required to add the word leapfrog to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
You can add the word leapfrog to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days

Reading previous logs, this moveable seems to have been found and removed, however, to date it has not been relocated. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this moveables status.

It would be great to see this cache back out in the wild and ready to be found again.

Hi, just letting you know I still have your moveable, I was just letting the dinos have their turn here in SA, will have this back out as soon as possible for you.
My family took a retail therapy day out at Harbor Town near the airport and when I realised there was some new movables here in SA, a detour on the way home was surely needed. Not much persuasion was needed by the family, they got to kick the footy while I searched for caches. win win all round.
I have taken Croak and will move it on very soon. I will take the dinosaur swap that was hidden inside to use in the upcoming Dinosaur race - thanks for who ever left that one.

In Adelaide attending Uni open days with my daughter I bought some moveables across from Tasmania. Luckily I had some time to put them out along the beach in Adelaide. This one is hiding close to another one I put out. This little fellow is on the ground near some knarly roots and covered by pine needles and leaf litter.
A quick pickup while in Hobart for Uni Open day with youngest daughter. I noticed these moveables a few weeks ago but didn't have time to get over here last weekend when I was down here and I was hoping they would stay hidden a bit longer. I was rewarded today with three moveables hiding in one place. They will come back up North with me. TFTM

The cache gave us yet another different type of geocache for the day. it wasn't easy getting to GZ with every plant on the bank having some king of thorn. We struggled to find the cache for a while and were close to phoning a friend but a little pile of 'bits' attracted my eye and there it was. I have brought this cache south to Hobart. Thanks Daryllm123 for a new (for me) movable.
A comment to stainless steel rat on Thursday night turned into a plan rather quickly over the following 24 hours. After a later than expected Friday night I dragged myself out of bed while the clock still started with a 5, Urgh!
My first stop was the Rats Nest to pick up stainless steel rat and after loading his things in the car we departed at 6.05am. Our first stop was Mood Food for coffee and to find some lunch to throw in the esky for later, followed by a much needed stop at the train park in Perth (to offload the coffee), then it was on to the house of TazScout for another round of coffee.
We spent the whole day caching in various parts of Trevallyn Reserve and then picked up a few other caches as we left there late in the day. We found traditional caches, puzzle caches, a trig point, some moveable caches, a pod cache, a reverse cache, a beacon cache, a gadget cache, a night cache and a multi-cache. We also found a cache of EVERY terrain type from an easy T1 right through to a ‘fun’ T5.
After a late dinner in town, we returned back south with a couple of fresh air stops on the way. After dropping stainless steel rat back at his nest, I arrived home at 11.45pm absolutely exhausted.

Another type to grab as we were passing after a bit of a search Goose came up with the goods and we were heading back to the car.
With Goose of GooseandEgg, cache in good order, thanks.
This trip was a spur of the moment thing only first dreamed up on Thursday night, GooseandEgg wanted to clean up a few new caches in the North so with the weather looking good for today we left home at 6am and got back home at 11:30pm. Thanks for great day out.

Somehow we ended up with a hoard of moveable caches in the boot of the cachemobile. Over the last couple of days we've been gradually rehiding them around the countryside and today we've managed to get the last of them out in the Trevallyn Reserve
A quick find while passing through Ulverstone. Grabbed this moveable cache and some others and will take them towards the north of the state asap. TFTC
we continued along the road and out towards one of our all time favourite spots along Old Coast Road, Goat Island. No beach combers this morning and we had the area to ourselves. The tide was well out so we could have walked to the island however we had other matters to attend to. There was a moveable geocache hiding nearby. Our GPS was indicating we would need to head into the scrub behind a very familiar, and often used rock. On peering over we could see a rather large frog looking back at us. It took a little scramble to retrieve him. We sat him on the rock to brush the sand off before we shoved him into our caching bag. He is quite big so our bag is bulging. Hope the locals think we are collecting rubbish.
This is another cache that has been on the road for over six years and is in great condition. We admired the construction of this cache and commented on the care taken to attach Croak to his sistema. We have seen many caches of this nature but the objects attached to the sistemas seem to come adrift quite early in their journeys.
We will take Croak home with us and try to get him out and about a in a few days time. We hope he recognises the dinosaur and the two gnomes in the bag as he travelled with them to Tasmania.

Three frogs have been living in my front yard for a while. I thought they would go for a hop over to the NT some time ago, but no. So today I decided to give them a new and much more frog friendly home in the bush. All three frogs live close to each other but have their own homes.
To get to the frogs safely you should probably put the coordinates in your driving map device or app and let it direct you so you don't miss the turn or cause traffic trouble. Please pass and turn around somewhere safely if you need to.

I love that this one has a cache that fits swag with it. And it has swag in it!
Cool cache. Ordinary location so easy to pick up if on way through to Alice.
Croak is hanging out with a few friends as they sit in hope of a trip to the centre of Australia or just somewhere else.

After a couple of escapes from the prisoner exchange group yesterday, others were getting restless and a couple made a break for it at Wattle Park today, including Croak, who hopped off from the others. Happy travels!
#GA996 - 18:00; I've had this one on my watchlist for a while and was pleasantly surprised to see it drop back into circulation recently. I was also relieved to know that I hadn't gone blind on the day I DNFd it with MrDamage. Anyway, I've picked it up and it may well be headed south for some well earned miles soon. Watch this space. After a trip to the movies with the geohoney, collected MrDamage and set off in search of GeGnomes. After a deal of success northside, we headed south for this one. Made our way to GZ and did an extended search to no avail. Tried a PAF with a recent finder, which confirmed our search area and the size, but sadly it seems this one may have hopped off. Thanks anyway Daryllm123

Now here's a funny thing. I was having a walk through this area, trying to grab a cache or two before dark. I made a detour up a little hill to check out the sunset and a looming thunderstorm.Looking around I saw a rock formation and immediately thought it would be an excellent spot for a cache. Then something quite unusual caught my eye.
Not being a Geocaching Australia member, I had no idea what to do about this "GA" coded cache. But I signed the log (the first in three years), marked its waypoint and did some Googling when I got home. Before long I'd contacted the CO and knew what I was dealing with.
So, now I've joined here as well and will pop back the next chance I get to grab the cache and move it somewhere else. Who knows where it may leap to?
