Description
Strike-a-light! A Toad has infiltrated the Leap Frog moving cache race.
Toads are not vegetarians and most commonly eat small insects and animals such as crickets, spiders, worms, caterpillars, tiny fish and flies. The prey must be within reach of the toad's tongue in order for the toad to capture it which means that the toad must sit still and let the prey come to it, instead of hunting the prey out .
Seek out Mr Toad at your own risk!
To play this game, please locate Mr Toad, take him away, sign his log and re-hide him in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log - this will give you your smiley!
Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update in GSAK and the like.
The game rules are simple:
- You can "find" this cache as many times as you like (the more the merrier!) as long as the last move was by someone else
- A move should be completed and logged with new coordinates and a hint within 2 days please

Bush was rather open, and after having a poke around couldn't spot it.

Dropped off while checking out some old cars at te nearby hall.
Found this one on a table full of gnomes and frogs at the Adelaide Pub Lunch event.
Found amongst an amazing collection of moving Froggy freinds that hopped onto the table at today's pub lunch! The jumpers were enjoying the wintery Adelaide conditions and looking forward to finding new homes in the South. Thanks to Black Bunny for bringing them down.
I grabbed this squishy toad to find a new home somewhere in Adelaide.

Nice to see this little cache lasting beyond the frog race, many have not been so lucky. Found this little guy on a table of frogs and gnomes on a lovely caching lunch. BlackBunny had quite a few of these little critters in his swag.

Went for a ride and travelled home through the grasslands. Dropped this Toad in a tree.
Edit[24/3]: Just noticed this should have been a Moved not a Found log.

I had a look for this guy today. He must be hiding too well for me if he has not hopped off.

We had the finish line for the Canada-Australia Travel Bug race today.
several frogs were in attendance and they were the stars of the show while we all went into a frog signing frenzy. I didn't get time to know each frog but I did make my mark. I making my mark I inadvertently made one frog eligible for the Frog Hospital. Not this one though.

I was going to hide this one, where it's brother, convict frog was.
But that'd be mean. Apparently everyone who goes en-route to the coast, forgets that there's a frog there..
I was going to hide him out in woop-woop, where i grabbed a cache that's..been favored and recommended by many. That would mean that people would come back? Nope. Really, i'm amazed i didnt see tumbleweeds.
I was going to hide him where i was staying with scouts last night (also known as a different woop woop), but really, the place is woop-woop. there was like no hiding spots at all. (that, and i got busted by a muggle friend when i stopped the car, to try and find a spot! oops!)
I was going to hide him in Yass or somewhere along the hume highway...but it was dark, and i needed coffee. More important.
Therefore, i'll take him to the event today. Not sure who he'll go home with, where he'll go, or what he'll do.
But there's one way to find out.
(just dont go looking for him until 10 or so)

Ah! Slightly scary this one!!
I've also noticed that if you hold it's body, and shake it, the limbs all go flying and it looks like he's trying to dance almost.. Its been amusing me for the last..2 and a half minutes.

Off he goes as he's already in the next pair of good hands.
508. Gotta admit that this one wins one prize flippers down. The squidgiest. Not a nice feeling when you reach into the backpack to pull this one out. Thankfully it wasn't wet as well.

Placed but already gone, circulating southside.
An excellent froggy power trail, and a fun late afternoon walk as we rushed to beat the advancing electrical storm. This one certainly is clammy! Thanks strike-a-light!
The frog trail has just started but the Toad decided to get out early
Found him this morning with Just a cacher. From Black Bunny bag of tricks.

'It's a Toad' does not like all this traveling and said he can't wait until the end of the month. I really think he enjoys it but doesn't want to admit it, after all Toads are contrary.
He found this tree to his liking and decided to stay there for a while.

Off to beautiful Lithgow goes Toad!
Bon voyage!
Bon voyage!
Drove down to Springwood today to 'rescue' a few frogs and get them back into circulation.
I think I know how to transport them to Sydney -- by taking them in the opposite direction!
Watch out, Lithgow!

Sorry I kept this guy for so long, but things came up during the week.
Have now moved to next to a cemetary. 3 frogs are at this spot, with another nearby (& frog killer is lurking nearby as well).

Found at the fabulous ZEAMMAFF Event! at Concord West, NSW!
Lots and lots and lots of Leapfrogs and gnomes in attendance! It turned out to be a great day for all Leapfrog and Gnome lovers, a great event with great people attending, we all had a ball.
Thanks to Zal for making it all happen!

This was one of many frogs (as well as a few gnomes) that came along to boot Zalgariath back to Europe at ZEAMMAFF. Things were really hopping as more and more frogs arrived during the afternoon, by the time the event had finished, about 55 movables had hopped onto the table. Of course, with that many frogs hopping around in one place, something was bound to happen, and one poor gnome was bumped to the ground, requiring a trip to gnome hospital and a serious stay there, but the less said about that the better.
The toad is moving to the event at Bicentenial park. don't look for him until then.
'it's a Toad!' kicked the previous occupant from this nice spot so close to the water and has moved in, he will no doubt soon move on but for now he is enjoying himself.
I think I already know this toad!
I met him some time ago, and know his dad . . .
Will let rogerw3 suggest his next destination!

Found 'It's a Toad!' in a positive cornucopia of Frogs and gnome today, is there such a thing as a frog mine? Because if so I found it today with pjmpjm.

Left for the Upper Mountains Cachers in Hazelbrook.
Out on a mid morning bike ride,on the way to Marlene, the toad didn't want to go any further, so he jumped off here next to the golf course.
And here I was thinking that nobody would be silly enough to go looking for frogs today!
Ah well! it is only a 3 hours train trip from Lithgow, I knew exactly where this one was but it turned out to be the first of many DNF this morning thanks to tronador!
maybe next time if I can be bothered to do this again.

Another frog...ooops toad, that I hadn't found. I knew this area well, and found the toad with out the GPS, nice and squishy this one is.

Toad has joined the touring tadpoles heading to the terminal theatre. The serpentine is lovely this time of year and perfect for frogs!
Boy look indeed! Took a couple of minutes and the door was missing but there he was! Scary looking fellow, very cool

Unfortunately I did not find Mr Toad, I gave it the best 'Boy's Look' I could manage but still came up empty handed.
I hope I missed him or that he has been picked up and not yet logged.

Mr Toad came for a walk in Bicentennial Park this afternoon and found a good spot right near a waterway. He's set up house under a big rock with a nice chunk of bark as a front door.
Wow! That was lucky, Mr Toad has survived I thought I'd go and make certain he wasn't there and walked right up to the most likely looking tree with the gps showing 1m. There was indeed a whisky bottle lying on the ground and a hole sort of spot that he might have rested in with plenty of bark that might have covered him. I gave up and decided he really must have gone when I thought I'd check a few other trees in case.
And there he was. I think the problem is that moving caches don't have very accurate co-ordinates due to the nature of the quick hides. So luckily in this case, he wasn't very far away and I think he was secretly rather pleased to be found and get back in the race.

It appears that the toad had bone a bunk and hopped off with someone else. Either that or the person that left the empty grog bottle found him instead.
He decided to hop out and sit next to a tree in a little park.
Found this one at the Caching Capers Corner, and decided to move him along!

Spotted this slippery character at the Caching Corner Capers event having a few pond waters with all the frogs.
Let him with an enthusiastic crowd of frog enthusiasts near Rouse Hill! Am sure he'll get further transport very quickly.
Found this attractive-looking little guy hiding near a famous old bridge near Glenhaven, and took him along to the event at Rouse Hill!

He seemed to have a friend who was still there.

Mr Toad decided to go for a bit of swim this afternoon so I left him behind the waterfall
I had my eye on Mr T and when he lingered not too far away for a night, I pounced early this morning

Dropped off on the way home at a spot where I grabbed another frog to replace the toad! Look for the pile of sticks next to the path.
3rd froggie *FTF* for the day, I could go out and chase more but I am sure I will find enough over the next couple of months. Nice and close to home, very similar to one of mine but the cable tie is probably a better attachment than what I used. Thanks Strike-a-light.
Mr Toad has hopped along the Ponds Walk and is admiring the view of the nearby waterfall from the shelter of a dark green bushy pittosporum tree. I think from the look on his face, he has spied some yummy prey.
