I was headed north today, so decided to take the Twinkle Toad with me. We were headed up for a family lunch near Mount Tamborine, but Twinkle left us just shy of our destination, at a rest stop beside the road. He's next to a big tree, away from the main area of the rest stop. Was great to have you in my company for the last month, Twinkle!
It was nice to find one of the old frogs from the Leapfrog race still out there, traveling the country! We were up at the Coffs Harbour lookout and found him pretty quickly. We made a trip to South Solitary island today, but unfortunately Twinkle Toad didn't come along for the ride, but instead waited patiently in the car. We'll move him onwards very soon so he can continue his travels.
Today MattyRx and I ventured up here onto the hill before headed out over the water. We found Twinkle Toad whilst there. Twinkle Toad is on the move once again.
Please accept our most massive apologies for the delay in the drop-off, in our defence, this bugger is quite big!
Dropped on the way to a nice scenic spot overlooking Coffs Harbour, the toad was last seen sheltering under a log from a very large goanna....

Cache is in transit and should be relocated shortly....admin review log only.
He's off again.... spotted here when looking for a different movable - they're all stacked up here and hard to spot.... we've taken him with us, will drop off somewhere in the next month or so....

A virtual move as is heading to cooler climes tomorrow, don't look here.
A quick find with Just a cacher while catching up with Sol de lune today.
Thanks for the cache.

#GA3671 - 12:40; On an unscheduled trip to Tassie, so taking the opportunity to catch up with family while I'm here. Stopped to grab the nearby GC cache and took the short stroll to GZ to collect the Toad for a trip north to the big island. TFTC whitewebbs

Dropped off after a very fine workshop at Hobart College.
I came looking for a frog that I hadn't found yet, and ended up carrying out the lot. I'll return the container this weekend.
At the frog party......JAB's would probably like his frog carrying container back at some stage too
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

He's big, and blue,
So what I'll do
Is find a log
For toad, not frog.

I moved this a couple of days ago, and thought I'd logged it, but evidently not... sorry for the delay!!
Found on a quick caching run around the Scene of the previous days cache event. Makky brown you should have come into the event at least for five minutes after surrounding the event with frogs. It did make me laugh this morning when I saw the location of them all.
Thank you for the great hides
Mr Frog jumped out of the pond one day
And found himself in the rain
Said he, "I'll get wet and I might catch a cold."
So he jumped in the pond again.

We have you surrounded. Come out with your gps' on. We know you are in there at the event.
Dropped off after a quick trip to the hardware store before hopefully (or is that hop-fully?) finishing off the steps that I've been rebuilding this week.
Found this frog on a drive to Carlton beach for a family swim.
Anyway, a new log signature, and one anyone who saw play school as a kid would know.

Having had something of a heavy night, Twinkle was happy to wave goodbye to his frineds and settle in for a (hopefully) short nap before embarking on the next leg of Leapfrog.
Twinkle came home with us after the Hoppy New Year event. We would like to say that he and the others that stayed the night were well behaved - but look at the photos! Will be back out later this year, after he recovers a little!
This frog was making too much noise to stay in the car any longer. The frog chorus can be pleasant but the baritone was over powering. This bush urban hide will help keep him happy we hope.
geo kid e, geo kid o and myself decide it was the boys turn to go for a frog hunt. We were successful though most of the north west and north a few days previously, so a trip south was in order to grab the frogs placed out by Makky Brown
Anyway here is my log signature
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day

They don't go glumpf glumpf glumpf

Thanks MakkyBrown for doing a frog rescue run in Scottsdale. Twinkle does like the city lights.
‘I joined a motley crew of explorers, eight of us in total, and we headed over the mountains to the east. We lost one on the way over due to fatigue but the rest of us made it! We came across an idyllic location, a froggy oasis, to rest before continuing our journey. ‘
Frognapped!
Twinkle wanted to join the 'Frog-pedition' and gladly hopped on board the frog wagon that was heading east.....

Hidden in the expectation of being found soon. Ideal location for sending small child in to retrieve.
He's got too good a croak to be left de-activated. A couple of Duracell Ultras should keep him in full voice for a while but we've got to get him a new, readily accessible, home where only cachers are going to find him.
He's a great frog and worth some effort so I might pop him out to the west a bit where's he's accessible to to the NW froggers as well.

Thanks nutwood33 for looking at twinkle toad. He was croaking when he left home and has croaked himself hoarse by the sound of it, but with a bit of help from you, is back to full voice. Hopefully he won't croak when muggles are around.
The addition of a couple of small bits of alfoil has solved the battery contact problem and this frog is in full croak. Now we just have to figure where to hide him for best effect.
I get the feeling these frogs are getting bigger! This one looked as though he had the potential to be noisy but alas, his batteries are flat.
Tried new batteries in him but I've only got ultra's and the +ve terminal doesn't seem to protrude enough to make contact. Hmmm, something to look at when I've finished these logs.

Frog alert all you frog hunters out there, there has been a mass invasion of Southern frogs waiting to experience our beautiful country side and hopsitality. Lets all show them a good time and give them plenty to croak about - GO GET EM
Twinkle Toad was showing his true colours as he sat in the back seat with other frogs. There was a vote - Twinkle Toad had to go. Hence, he is out and back in the race.
Picked up on a frog raid south from the North West. Hopefully we will have a good days frogging. TFTF
