A sad and sorry end to this little guy. Unfortunatley to suffered from lack of water and EXTREME heat.
I've had this one's companion (Macca's Mover) on my anonymous watch list (grey matter) so decided to go for a long drive to see how it fared in the recent bushfire. As I suspected not very well. A little blob of melted sistema, a spring & some plasticy ash. Took a photo for prosperity then left the remains on top of the rock which has been burnt black like everything else. Time to archive as nothing remains.
The Dean's Gap bushfire went right through where I left this little guy, I doubt he survived
Grabbed this little guy and took him for a ride on a bright green motorcycle; he didn't want to get off so may take him for a longer trip later in the week!

Resting under a tree in a park named in honour of a pony. (Everything is green & there is a duck pond nearby so well catered for).
Had intended to head down the coast early but strong Nor Westers delayed my departure. Then at eleven the winds stopped so I headed off. Found this plus four others, for a 300Ks round trip. The winds picked up on the way back but from the South West. Insufficient rain though to wash the UAV.
Was trying to find Galoomph (i just put it down to sheer cache blindness. This is what happens when you dont go caching for a month..), couldnt find him...but It's not easy being green wanted to hang around, to see if he was still there!! It's practically a 2 for 1 deal here!
Sorry i've still got this one...fractured ankle = not physically possible to rehide him!!
(will relocate as soon as possible i swear!)
(will relocate as soon as possible i swear!)
Dropped off at the SOUTHERNMOST roundabout in the ACT. (With another GCA moveable (roundabout cache) to keep it company)
Not sure why this frog was way up there, nor what his plan was?????
Anyway, I considered 6 weeks was long enough, so I went up and got it.

Moved to a lovely little spot. Somewhat out of the way, but hopefully a fellow lodger will join him soon.
I had planned to take this froggy to the Oz Mega, but he got left behind... I think he hid from me on purpose, because he'd heard that there were going to be so many cachers, gnomes and other frogs there, and he really is a shy frog at heart. That said, he was happy to have the company of the Lunchbox Frog at the Isaacs PO - perhaps it was the promise of being fed?? Safe travels...
Grabbed this very conveniently located cache - and also very attractive froggie! Will move along soon....
546. After walking 30km I walked a bit further to admire this chappie before he leaped off to other climes.
TFTF and the rainbow.

After he met someone at this morning's walking event, I dropped froggie where I think he will be appreciated - and picked up already.
Find number 500!!! And so conveniently placed outside our own front door! (thanks Sol de Lune) Thanks Gradem for a very nice frog, complete with his little friend.

Well, he's in my hands now. Will be dropped off in the morning, in one of the two usual places.
Thanks for another frog.....

ooops looked in vain for it in Glebe Park today. No wonder I didn't find it when it was already on the move again. That is the tricky thing with these movables
GCA 525 - 5083. Grabbed this guy to move him around Canberra a bit.
Will put him back out into the wild asap.
TFTC !!

Will drop at the above coordinates about 8 pm on the 1st of March
Hi Gradem
This croaker had avoided me until today.
I.E. Other cachers had been too fast for me until now.
Pleasantly surprised to find another leap-frogger with him when I got there.
Found this ribbetting pair at 1623hrs.
From here, down the hill for three more.
TFTC and cheers;
OldSaint.

hangging out with a friend at GrannySwamp's frog party place
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

Love this guy. Anyone who would like to donate their frog to a good home at the end of the race just send me a PM and I will let you know where to send them As a frog collector this has been a hard race
Come with a shopping bag, come with a trolley as there is an army of frogs to be had in this area. Bring the dog, bring the kids and have fun searching.
Collected from JAB's Letterbox, just been waiting for them to be moved there before moving on. All are hidden on the domain
Thanks for the frog
Thanks for the frog
sorry for the delay in logging comp/inter issue.
The exercise circuit that used to be here has long since gone, so we (my 11-year old and I) created one of our own - using frogs!
A stop within croaking distance of others.
Found this one along the Rosny walking track beside the water in a very neat little hideyhole behind a broken tail light! (not attached to a car). This is the second time I've had this fellow and both times the hides have been ingenious. Thanks!
Found this cache and rescued from a fate worse than death : a trip to the mainland of Australia. Actually found a large group of frogs that had been surrounding the event at the beltana on Friday night.
Thanks for the frog
Mr Frog jumped out of the pond one day
And found himself in the rain
Said he, "I'll get wet and I might catch a cold."
So he jumped in the pond again.

The plane has landed and the frogs jumped into the hire car for a lift back to town.

We have you surrounded. Come out with your gps' on. We know you are in there at the event.
Found a lush area. At the start of the track. Many choices of where to go from here.
So he hadn't been picked up by someone else. Was able to pop back today for another look - I couldn't believe what a good hide it was. The fellow isn't small and he blended so perfectly that even when I poked and prodded around the tree roots i just didn't see him. But he wasn't getting away again. He went jaunting around Mt Wellington with me - including to the top where we got a snap before I found a place for him to get out and stretch his flippers at a more leisurely pace.
We didn't know which frog this was when we did the pickup from JABS' party. Luckily we placed him pretty much with a water view - as requested! Oops, got our frogs mixed up -sorry all.
This frog also jumped into our car as we pulled up at JABs letterbox - so he went in search of a new place to stay with us.
Sorry for the delay in getting this back out and about. You are looking for a little pool of three frogs having some fun together. Three for the price of one!!!!!!
Was in Launceston on work and decided to drive back via the east coast to visit my parents. Collected this frog on the way.
Anyway, a new log signature, and one anyone who saw play school as a kid would know.

Green jumped out of the frogmobile cuz he was too hot.
Another quick froggy find on our way to the Launceston New Years Eve party in the motel room...
Will rehide him soon.

It's not easy being green so he has hidden under a brown rock hoping to change colour by camouflage. Of course we don't know that being chameleon is in a frogs DNA.
An easy find just had to wait for dog walking muggle to walk on by.

Out on the edge of a lovely park area in suburban Hobart. Climbed in under the bush with a froggy friend,
Miss Froggy - GA3739...not sure what is going on there....

Found after a bit if a search trying to avoid the prying eyes of a couple of muggles nearby. Perseverance paid off and this green one was located. Cute frog.
Could not give this frog away. Whitewebs and tassie trekers didnt want him!!!!!! So we were given him back.... Oh well he can come to Hobart with me.
all frogs will be released back to the wild tomorrow.

geo kid a, geo kid i and myself left at 5.21 on a frog raid to north west, and north tasmania. our goal was simple, to liberate the frogs from this region and bring them to civilisation
we were successful though most of the north west, only missing a few frogs that had been captured by local cachers on the previous day.
In all we liberated over 25 frogs back to below the border - or at least the imaginary mason dixon line.......

This frog fancied cooling off at the beach...
Was heading to Latrobe for some Christmas shopping so decided to pick up this group of languishing frogs and give them a ride. No need to even turn on the GPS, just identified the hiding spots by the hints and Google maps, so we had collected up four frogs in no time...

It's not easy being green! spent the night in the company of seven other frogs but is now ready to go solo again.
Found on our way to the north on a frog napping exercise cleverly disguised as a christmas shopping expedition
The frogs were hidden in Wilmot
Quite a pretty spot
But a week went by with no finds
The owners were probably out of their minds
So off they hopped to a new spot.
"It's Not Easy Being Green" is hiding in a favourite place of the CEyres near the Wilmot River. Enjoy your search, enjoy the views, the river and the facilities.
The frog is with two friends as an incentive to come and visit so she is not left alone for too long.

Hooray, a short gap in the hectic end of year schedule to check if any Leapfrog caches are close by! Hooray there is one right close to our favorite beach (i.e. closest) and the hiding place is somewhere where REyre knows well having built the castle for her own princess. So we hopped into car and drove down the hill, leapt out of the car and rustled over to the hide to discover that we were successful. Hooray Rose is happy, and it is easy to be Green. Thanks for the fun.
While talking to Warts and All in the garden It's not easy being green discovered that one of the Tasmanian Frog princesses had her own castle and expressed a desire to visit it. He was sorry Princes5 would not be at home. He didn't think there were frog castles on the mainland. He hopped out of the cache mobile and onto the castle roof. After basking in the sun he hopped inside and closed the drawbridge to wait for the next cacher.
