Description
Spot the Frog is a leap frog! Spot the Frog is hoping to hop far and often while competing in the geocaching game of "Leapfrog"
Spot the Frog was found, loved and released by the senior members of the CarrollEyre team.
We ask that when you find Spot the Frog that you quickly sign the log book, feed him some flies (preferably Redtag's), and release him back into the wild.
Hide him well in beautiful places and we will all be happy.
Official Game Rules:
- The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEST.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the cache mover may move your cache back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days
Have fun!

Alas Poor Spot we knew you well.
Spot has been parked for 18 months and so he has either gone missing or he has slipped off the radar. We had fun tracking him around Tasmania.

tapped this guy on the head while scooping up some bingo caches thanks for the cache
I have placed a few, well quite a few caches on my driveway. They are available at all times, but please take 5 or so at a time. I am happy for you to take more, but please don't just hide them all together.
By the way I have a nice photo that I will post of all the caches together

Grab these on the way to a waterfall.
I'm gradually trying to clean out all the unfound caches inside 20km, including the frogs and gnomes, which proves a challenge, when many are in people's hands (I have three now, so I can't talk!) and others have seemingly been moved without being logged.
This one however, had been recently placed in a nice safe place by polfil, so I'm moving it to a new home.
Thanks for the frog.

Dropped this froggy off in the gardens on the side of John Turnbull Park in Lenah Valley.
I had trouble finding this one and I also turned up on the police shift change time so policemen kept walking past. I eventually messaged Cheesy which resulted in him yelling down to me from the roof across the road just after I made the find.
and bck out, under some shrubbery. Might need a herring

Back out! GPS accuracy was 10m. Park closes at 4.30pm.
After an unsuccessful attempt on "Swimming Hole" we then went on to take "Spot the Frog" and deposit to a new location. Earlier in the week we had picked up this moveable cache and decided, that as frogs like water and this one had spent a few months on a dry hillside, it seemed appropriate to lodge near a creek. The spot is up the valley a bit and with the tree cover the accuracy of the GPS was 7 metres, so that needs to be kept in mind as you get close.
We found this quaint little fellow, while looking for "Two Views", and will be moving him to a new spot soon. We walked around the area that the GPS suggested doing a bit of poking and prodding, then Sue spotted the fellow sheltering under a bush.
Sorry for the delay but have been laid up with a work injury for about 6 weeks and haven't been abe to go caching. In a new home now
Taken all the frogs and a couple of gnomes for a drive up the East Coast to Scamander. They'll all be here for a little while. Don't bother looking cuz Tim Tam is going to find them all....
Spot doesn't want red tags flies. They have hooks in them and they will get caught in his/her throat!!! What a nasty thing to happen to a frog!
Found Spot on my circuitous route home from Launceston via Longford.
Placed him/her on the floor with all the other frogs for a bit of a chinwag and has been transported to Hobart when he/she will be released once Tim Tam has given them all the once over...

Spot's back out again. After I hid him I realised that the last time I hid Spot, it was a very similar location but looking out over the Tamar, not the Macquarie, River. Must be something about some frogs!
I also realised after I'd left that I hadn't checked how much that bridge vibrates with heavy vehicles so perhaps a quick collection would be nice. Cars didn't cause a tremor but I'd hate a big truck to vibrate him out of his hidey hole.

Back out hanging out with 2 mates
Handed to Tassie Trekkers over coffee at Mt Nelson while planning next frog hunt
How this frog was still here I will never know. Sitting waiting in plain sight of all who passed. Will move asap
A night up in the valley, he wanted to come along too. He jumped out of the car and scuttled to the beautiful rose gardens.
Supporting friends in the Cadbury Marathon (and Half) was GREAT! The photo shows Spot eyeing off the finish line but the difffulty factor is significant when there's a container attached to your bum.
I was very impressed with this frog when he sat beside Flip at the BBQ table, and he was keen to watch the Cadbury Marathon tomorrow morning, so with me he's coming! This is my first frog find! I have tried a few other times, but they've been gone each time I've got to the location! Thanks!
Spot has wined and dined in fine style at Flip's bbq, but he is a somehwhat fickle frog and has now decided that he doesn't want to spend the night in Cambridgeat all. He is set on getting a lift to a new location and is hitching a ride with another guest.
Spot heard that there was the possibility of a bbq with Flip and Dippy this evening, so he has hopped over to spend the night at Cambridge. He hopes that he will get a lift to somewhere else tomorrow.
Spot the frog wanted back out in the fresh air so we let him out in Sorell.
Nice quick find on a quick visit to Hobart today. Nice looking frog who can't wait for the next adventure. Croaked that it is a bit warm in the car for him do we'll find a nice cool spot for him to sit as soon as possible. These frogs certainly aren't backwards in coming forward.
Spot came to the Taste and decided to hop out here to enjoy the view.
Grabbed him from the event. Ready to move on to enjoy more of the country side in and around Hobart. Cheers Quilter

Handed to old saint - I had too many to hide!!!!
geo kid e, geo kid o and myself decide it was the boys turn to go for a frog hunt. We were successful though most of the north west and north a few days previously, so a trip south was in order to grab the frogs placed out by Makky Brown
Anyway here is my log signature

Spot stayed to take in the views and eat a few ants. Beware.
Nice riverside location with a view of the Batman Bridge.
Getting quite familiar with this froggy retreat. The ultimate frog drive-by. Collected Spot this morning.
Relocated to our Froggy Retreat. Froggy is about 5 meters on to our property and you are welcome to come in to the retreat.
Just a quick hop from the previous spot and found a lovely bit of shade.
Im out, might get spooky at night come rescue me
Not an easy find had to widen our search to nab this one. He looks like an old timer so he is capable of looking after himself. Spot is coming for a ride east with us. TFTF

I left Spot having a rest near the banks of the Leven river
I was nearly introduced to the Mayor of Devonport as I was going to my new hide - the Mayor was just leaving a meeting in a nearby building and spoke to one of the 2y'stassies. I am in a good hide looking at Buttons Creek, the beach and the sea. A photo showing what I can see will be added to the Gallery tonight. However, I am in a race and need to hop on. Can you help me please?
Had a meeting in Devonport at 11.00 so thought we'd check out frogs on the way. Found this little fellow hidden in a stump. He was very excited but said he'd prefer ground steak to flies if we didn't mind but dont tell CarrollEyre just those who might feed him before he moves on.Surprised at FTF
