Description
Leap Frog Moveable Cache Race
Flower pot the Frog loves all sorts of flowers and plants, he loves to hidein them.
This frog is part of the Great Leap Frog Moveable Race from the 1st of December 2011 until the 31st of January 2012.
After the 1st of February 2012 this frog will then become a normal moveable cache.
Flowerpot only wants to travel as far and as wide as is possible, to see as much of Australia (and perhaps the World!) as can be managed.
Flowerpot Frog would like to make his way back home to Sydney, any help will be appreciated.

I have placed a few, well quite a few caches on my driveway. They are available at all times, but please take 5 or so at a time. I am happy for you to take more, but please don't just hide them all together.
By the way I have a nice photo that I will post of all the caches together

Found after another couple of similarly hid moveables in the bush near Howrah.
Had a bit of water inside, but the log book was safe and dry.

Got Flowerpot back out quickly. She's built into a wall at the back of an historical stable. You can actually see her from within the stable. Have a look to see if you can spot her before heading out and around the back for an easy find.
Found the Flowerpot this afternoon. Interlaken seems positively hopping with frogs today.
Flowerpot frog has everything a frog can need, plenty of water, plenty of vegetation, lots of rocks and no snakes...at the moment. lake Sorrell is way too cold at the moment for any froggy predators so Flowerpot will be safe until the next warm blooded cacher comes along.
Were there any women at this stoning? Poor Flowerpot Frog was found under a pile of rubble and rocks.
Searched a couple of spots before finding...now on his way...TFTC...Cheers.

It turned out this this frog had managed to soak up a lot of water, but I was able to dry it out quite well while it was with me. If there's a leak in it, however, that won't last long I'm afraid.
I came looking for a frog that I hadn't found yet, and ended up carrying out the lot. I'll return the container this weekend.
At the frog party......JAB's would probably like his frog carrying conatiner back at some stage too
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

Come with a shopping bag, come with a trolley as there is an army of frogs to be had in this area. Bring the dog, bring the kids and have fun searching.
Quick find. Thanks for the frog wander around the domain.

Flowerpot Frog is now sprouting on the Frog's Domain. There is a whole bunch of frogs in the vicinity, so you can grab several. There are also many spider webs around the place which the frogs don't seem to have done anything about, so choose your path carefully!
Due to being an idiot I had to backtrack from Princes5 to get this one, as my arrow must have been sitting on top of it when I looked at the map page of my GPSr. Oh well, I needed the exercise.
The exercise circuit that used to be here has long since gone, so we (my 11-year old and I) created one of our own - using frogs!
Gone uphill to see what the views are like up there.
Found Flowerpot Frog on a nice walk around the Rosny Esplanade track in glorious afternoon sunshine.
Picked up on an early morning drive.
He was very happy to see a mainlander from his home area. He was hinting at hitching a ride with me back across the creek when we return.

Flowerpot and Shatter both helped the DDTs with some cache maintenanceon Zinc Walks, but deccided they didn't want to stay int hat area as they were worried that there might not be enough passing cachers to give them a lift.
We found Flowerpot out for a bit of socialising at the Beltana event. He came home with us for the evening.
Will be at Crow Eater Invasion - Dinner Event - Hobart

Moved to the Domain under bark behind a rock between two dead trees.
Hi rogerw3
Had collected my new Garmin Oregon today and was dieing to try it out.
Arrived at Mum and Dad's after belated Christmas shopping, had tea and looked at the Frog list - six availanle nearby. Loaded them into the new GPS and off to find them.
The rain was starting to tumble down but that was not a deterent under the circumstances.
MakkyBrown had hidden this one near a fuschia and arriving at GZ, there were a lot of roses but I couldn't see the fuschia. A short search ensued but said plant was soon found as was the frog at 1918hrs.
Had a great hunt and a good find on this cache for my first on the new geocaching hardware.
Cheers OldSaint.

Flower pot is deciding which flowers are nicest
Flowerpot Frog has a hitch-hiker aboard so 2 frogs for the price of 1
Found this frog far from where it was placed. It (apparently) hopped into a bag and was put into the NTrailTB and transported to Launceston where it has been partying and seeing in the New Year in comfort at a swank motel room. These partying frogs were given a choice of wine or beer or mixed spirits.....
Once they recover, we will put them back out.

After spending the night in the herb garden, flowerpot frog hopped down the hill to investigate the old quarry. Decided its a bit of a forgotten place but th smell of aniseed was pleasant enough to stay for a while
found another moveable, this time in the garden.

Back out! Try Bligh, not the off ramp! Stumpy.
The schnauzer went crazy, a frog was found, confused emails were exchanged. I've had trouble frogging with a baby and ill husband despite many being hidden quite close to me, however this one was too close to pass up. Thanks budgie; I'll add your name to the log!
We (geo kid a, geo kid I and myself) did a frog run around Hobart, sorell, Richmond and glenorchy and came up with 12 moveables including 10 frogs, one traffic sign moveable and the touring teddies. Great little get for three and a quarter hours including re hiding all bar two frogs.
Found this cache at 6.49

This "Hear no evil" flowerpot frog is now hiding in the vicinity of three other caches on the domain. Go get 'em.
Being buddies with Frogger confused me for a bit, but two for the price of one is good. Flowerpot Frog is about to head southwards.
Flowerpot Frog is very generous. he offered to sdhare his raincoat with Frogger. So, two are avilable for a single visit.
Rescued from the heavy rain on the way to work. Another cheeky looking frog. Flowerpot was waering a raincoat so was very dry. Will place very soon.

Flowerpot Frog was ready to hit the road before the rain came. So, he was placed for a quick pickup.
We found Flowerpot Frog in a very restful location by a stream during another early morning raid on the North. An amiable frog. TFTF
Popped this frog out to consider some more weeds!
Found this cute frog behind a power pole, guarded by a particularly vicious blackberry. Perhaps I'm prejudice as I didn't spot it in time but I think a flowerpot frog should do more to control weeds. Mind you she hadn't been in residence long, but just to be sure, she's spending the night with a brochure on Tasmanian weeds.
Frog alert all you frog hunters out there, there has been a mass invasion of frogs waiting to experience our beautiful country side and hopsitality. Lets all show them a good time and give them plenty to croak about - GO GET EM
Oh I would do any thing to get a rogerw3 cache and be so far from home both new and old. Welcome on board roger. He will be finding a new home soon.
JABs.

I was planning to hide this a bit further to the north, but as we passed this area on our bikes, we were so impressed by the volume the frogs in the adjacent pond were making that we had to leave a froggy traveller nearby. We could hear two or possibly three distinct sounds.
There's nowhere to park immediately near the hiding spot, but there was a flat grassy area about 200-250m up the road, heading into Opossum Bay. Or you could park in Opossum Bay and enjoy the walk up the hill!

I thought I'd hop down here to watch the cricket. Too much action happening over at Bellerive so this spot looked nice and quiet.
Picked up Flowerpot and friends and will move them on.

We spent over 20 minutes looking in every nook and cranny - found the permanent cache hidden there - but did not find Flowerpot Frog. Were we too late?
Dropped this off at Cradle Mountain Tasmania
Discovered this while out for a walk. This boy is going on a holiday.
