Description
Fernando wants to race!
Fernando's original hiding spot was full of singing frogs the day he was hidden - and that was before the rains.
This was my first attempt at an Amigurumi frog, he's souugly he's cute! Please treat his travelling bag with care, as he's not overly fond of water. (Silly frog)

Found and collected (and maybe cleaned up the sound of it) almost 12 months ago, but no movement since. We'll archive it for now and if the cache resurfaces, the listing can be re-instated.
After nearly 3 years sitting in the bush he looks s little worse for wear.
I'll clean him up and move it on soon.

Attended the very enjoyable GCA Moveable & Mystery Madness event (GA10647) in Whiteman Park today with Chwiliwr and Gwawr. We found this cache with all the other moveable caches that were brought to the event by the various GCA cachers in attendence. There were also a couple found not actually at the event.

Discovered 'Can you hear the Frogs Fernando?' at the Moveable & Mystery Madness Event held in Whiteman Park. The forecast was for rain but we were blessed with good weather for the day. A small but dedicated group of geocachers and a couple of new faces attended and exchanged stories of caches found and missed. Many thanks Dvixen for the cache.

Found as part of the Summer Scavenger Series! Left in place as it is a good spot near the water worth a visit. Cheers!

Fernando now has a nice home near the water - summer is a good time for frogs.
A lovely spot for a frog, I have walked here many times and it is always a pleasure. Now Fernando is with me and will find a new home soon.
Fernando has a great new home for a frog, a little cave right next to the river. He should be comfy there until his next adventure!
Hmm he seems to have got a bit melted somewhere but is now safely in my hands!

Found this one while searching for GC6A67D, "Park of no where". TFTC.

Fernando is on the loose on the north west coast after a lengthy stay in the south
A quick find with the aid of the hint. Decided to do this one early before there were too many in the area to make a search really difficult. TFTC
Fernando wanted to visit the pond when we went to the hardware store.
Collected from under the leaves. My sister was married about 20 metres from here early last year.
In park next to Lenna of Hobart in Battery Point
Fernando is not at this location only moved here prior top going to Hobart
Found Fernando and will move onto Hobart/ Huon area on our trip south in mid August
A busy road but plenty of area to pull off, a even safer option is to drive into Devon Hills. Should be a quick stop & grab
What else can you do on a wet day but go caching - saw there were several moveables waiting to be found in this area that I had not visited since I was a child and lived down here. Still a beautiful area even on a rainy winters day. Thanks for bringing me back down here. Found easily thanks to accurate coordinates & hint.

Fernando is back out ready to play. He's near the bottom gates at Fern Glade
Fernando refused to be parted from his charred box and is resting near his friends safe from burn offs.
On the way home this evening, after an embroidery class in Latrobe, Mrs Y'stassie stopped off to look for Fernando. She was a little alarmed when she pulled up as the vegetation had been cleared and burnt a while ago and a new entrance to the nearby property constructed and a letter box erected. She approached the hide with some trepidation and her fears grew as she discovered a pile of charred sticks and logs. However on pushing these aside she discovered a slightly singed and melted plastic container which, when opened revealed Fernando a little darker but still intact. Will clean the cache up before rehiding.
I could hear him croaking..so an easy find. TFTC...Cheers.

Fernando is back out ready to play. He's near a spot where he can learn lots about the city of Devonport.
Can you hear the foot steps Fernando????
They were mine as I came to rescue you.
Collected this frog that had been sitting since November 2012. Many cachers (along with very many muggles) have walked past and not heard Fernando's call to be rescued.
Anyway you are back with HuGeo Hot Lips. I will put them both out together so they can keep each other company!

I am so excited! 5 more days and this little guy has been moving for a year!!
Go Fernando!!!!
Go Fernando!!!!
Fernando is now sitting on the Domain and can sing to his heart's content.
Yes, we heard the frogs - but only just above the noise of cachers at Haunting. We can't hear the frogs any more, don't knwo where they have gone off to.
Attended the event "Haunting Lives" tonight at the Carlyle Hotel organised by red tag. What a great night we had.
Part way through the evening, many moveables were placed on the table and many logs were made. This was just one I made as the circuit of the table progressed.

This was one of many frogs bounding around the dining table during dinner tonight. I managed to grab him as he came past me and got his number. Thanks for the cache Dvixen
I was convinced at the end of the event "Haunting Lives" to take this moving cache with me to place elsewhere.
Found this little friend while at the haunting event. Left on the table where I found it.
Spotted again at an event as passed around the table.

Tut, tut, Red Tag. I'd hate to think you're mocking us.
This is one of the frogs we've yet to find and you're thanking us? Perhaps because we didn't beat you to it?

Came at this one the wrong way after turning off too soon !
Still, after a little detour past a bee hive, Fernando and his mate Squeaky were soon in hand !
Thanks for the cache, nutwood33 & rogerw3 !

Fernando is hiding with Squeaky in a Cygnet Nature Reserve at the end of Henleys Rd. Be careful when you look for them that you don't get cut.
Hi Dvixen & Tiger-monkey
Had been along this track before so getting there was no problem this time. Last time, I followed the needle and did a small bush bash to get the cache and an FTF that I was after.
Fernando was well hidden with another frog, Leap Frog Squeaky; both croaking away as I approached ground zero, making the find at 1131hrs quick and easy.
They can have a warm night in the car before I put them out again.
Thanks to Whitewebbs for taking me back to this track so soon after the last visit - great hide.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Back out enjoying the pine forest with a friend. Find us while getting the new cache in the area.
Handed to whitewebbs while holidaying at the shack
Fernando was a bonus find, we were looking for Squeaky Frog and found Fernando hiding in the same spot. A very nice surprise TFTF

We had intended to leave Fernando somewhere in Melbourne but the weather was so bad that Fernando wanted to stay in our bags and come to Tassie where the weather has been so much better. Fernando is now by the sea enjoying the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore, a very different environment to Canberra (and not as cold either).
The tenth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland was marked by the best weather for caching. No rain, not even a chance of rain, some clouds but plenty of blue sky and a very light breeze which did not have a hint of the bitter cold of previous days. We started the day tracking down the cache for the Hobart to Canberra Great Aussie Icon Hunt and then we spent the rest of the day in the Tuggeranong area, some of the time in the hills. We had a great days caching.
We were looking for the cache "GC23KCM Tuggeranong Suburbs - Conder". We got to GZ and found a pile of rocks. The cache, we thought, had been found but to our surprise, removal of the rocks revealed Fernando. We continued to look for our target cache and it was found quite quickly afterwards. Finding Fernando was a bonus - two for the price of one. TFTC

Dropped off near Tuggeranong Suburbs - CONDER. A two-for-one deal, if you like.
Found Fernando while on a Meander around Red Hill - he's gotten quite damp, so I'm taking him home to dry off and will drop him somewhere new soon
Frogs on a hill in the ACT, who would have thought that?
Found on Just A Cachers and Black Bunnys table.
Thanks for the Frog.

Nice find today among all the Frogs, Gnomes and others over 70 participants as well as the odd human, some of them very odd indeed!
many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.

Fernando turned up at our Blue Mountains gathering at Blackheath and enjoyed mixing with all the other frogs and gnomes at the picnic shelter.
We all had a great time!
Thanks to the organisers: rogerw3, Black Bunny and Just a cacher . . .
Bon voyage, Fernando!
I left you on the table and don't know who picked you up . . .

What we ended up with was afternoon tea, bags and bags of frogs, and pleasant chats with some very nice cachers - as well as pjmpjm and RogerW3!
Please forgive me if I got it wrong, but I seem to remember pjmpjm, RogerW3, Toriaz and Taiko's family, all at the party. As well as a few young ladies and gentlemen running around and being generally helpful.
We now have many, many frogs to rehome, so the sooner we start the better!

Hope you'll enjoy your stay there, froggie.
You'll have lots and lots of company soon.
Fernando seems to have hopped up the mountains to Leura.
He's very welcome here, but now he has to move further west.
I hear that there's a frog convention of some kind taking place . . .

'Fernando' does not seem to be the worse for wear after the humongous party all the Frogs had, they were all very quiet as I bundled them into the back pack. Well there was no way I was going to pay for all those train tickets!

F.Frog had enough of me and as the rain came down in buckets this morning, he slipped out of my hands and hoped next to a tree, under some bark.
Found him drinking from empty cans. Hungry fella? Come with me.

Fernando came down to the river this morning, planning to catch a ferry somewhere. If he goes upriver, he'll end up in Parramatta, if he goes downriver it'll be the city. Better catch him before he heads off or we'll never know where he is!
Reception is not very accurate so read the clue

'Fernando' found his way to Lithgow, he enjoyed the train trip very much so much so in fact that he now wants to do it again tomorrow in reverse and go back to the Big Smoke just for the fun of it. Who am I to deny any Frog yet another train trip to Sydney.
I am sure he will be welcomed by one and all (eventually!).
