Logs
Stopped to look for this one on our way back from a trip in the Victorian high country, didnt realise it had been picked up until i logged on to log that i couldnt find it, glad its safe and not missing
Reunited with a long lost member of the family!
Nutwood33 and I went out in search, fearing the worst due to Matte's long period of inactivity, but found him safe and sound, and with quite a large addition to his belly..! Matt-ette? Nutwood33 should obviously be keeping a better eye on what his frogs get up to!

Hopped 31.92 km 72.37° East to a new hiding place.
Now hiding in "Frog Hollow Road" looking for some water...
Maybe find some mates in the area.
Thanks for the cache nutwood33

moved to the reserve closer tiny house. Mr Frog is nestled away from prying eyes but not too far for the avid Geocache seeker.
On the hunt for moveables today and this was one of 9 DNF's, Searched according to the hint but came face to face with a blue tongue lizard. May still be there but we weren't going to find it today.

The weather has prevented me getting out and about to hide this little guy, despite how much he would have loved the rain. I happened to find a child-free patch of sunshine so I walked around the glorious Railway Reserve and found a brand new path just constructed. There was some tree-planting I investigated (lovely new gums, yippee!) and I found some old trees at the top with just the perfect hidey hole for this little guy. TFTC nutwood33
Found at its hidey hole in Oakleigh in between patients. I'll take this little dude with me back home this afternoon then hide him in my town. TFTC Nutwood33

Swapped as part of a prisoner exchange at the Captains Flat Hotel and now headed south I believe!
I had just returned from Tassie, where I had received alerts that a marauding bunch of moveables had reached Canberra. Conveniently they had just re-emerged not too far from home, so I popped over and did the pick up. Nice to see this one again. TFTC nutwood33
The group of us have decided to party in Jacka a northern suburb of Canberra. We are at the posted co-ords which is near a little play park. We are not in the park but to the left of the entry gate. We all await your visit.
Discovered this little fellow at the Walk for Life Event 28/2/16 TFTC

Discovered at the Meet the Walk for Life Team Event in Wagga. The gnomes all had their own party!
Discovered with the gophers at an event, where there was a great array of GCA's to choose from.

MATTE FROG is in residence at The Rock until we head over to Canberra in the next week or so.
it's flat. so flat. Did someone step on you, you poor innocent creature? Thanks The Morris for giving caughtatwork and I a pile of caches, which will all be moved soon.
Met The Morris and she handed me a pile of moveable caches. This makes for a very easy transaction and these will all be hidden again very shortly.
Next to a huge frog under the leaf litter
Found in the hands of LuckyL10n and present when moved. I debated with LuckyL10n, whether this frog symbolized Road Kill better than the last one frog cache called Road Kill. This cache could be hidden rather sneakily.. Have fun with this one.

Matte is now hanging around near Harden. Apologies Nutwood, didn't see the post requesting a snap until I was doing the log tonight I'm sure he'll hop off again soon. TFTC
thanks LuckyL10n for letting this fellow visit.

Found in the hands of Sol de Lune. Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent to see Matte out and about again. How's he travelling? Can anyone pop an image in the gallery?
A drive by moveable! Yes, I found them when they virtually drove by.
Many thanks to LuckyL10n.

#GA607 - 17:45; I was in Nowra for the night and decided to head out to the lighthouse for a look and perhaps a cache or two. I had picked up a couple of nearby trigs before negotiating my way through the main gates and down the track to the lighthouse at the point. Made my way over to GZ, where I found my second nest of moveables for the day. This was one of four I have collected to do a bit of travelling. Once I had collected the menagerie, it was back to town. TFTC nutwood33

In the area waymarking & decided given the relatively remote locale the 4 moveables here should stay in place. Hopeful of taking control for Minotaur but still not sure how this works - will see (which is what I was thinking at the time).
Been here too long....time to move on and get away from those noise Bingo racers!

Moved! sorry about the delay, I got distracted!
Wondering if this cache has been re-hidden and not logged or has it met with some mishap?
Nothin' like a drive-by cache - especially when another cacher drives by and hands them to you! Will move on soon...
I have taken a pic but I'm not able to upload it atm, will try to do it this evening.

I see our dark side frog is making his way east again. "SO not shiny and new?"? We haven't seen him for more than a year, any chance some kind cacher could update the gallery? We might not recognise him, if we should meet again.
Down in the hands of another cacher for a move to the city.
Nice to grab a new cache when they pop up.
Thanks for the frog nutwood.

Grabbed from near home.
Had just about arrived home when I was notified of a bunch of wild moveables new to the area, so made a slight detour to grab them. Nice to see some new ones after a while.

Dropped him in a cacher friendly front yard where I know he'll be looked after.....and then set off into the wilds again to enjoy a run around the sights of Canberra. Have fun.
Found in the hands of a suspicious looking character 'lurking' in a car park Nice little frog, thanks nutwood.
GCA 817 - 7275. Spotted in the hands of Sol de Lune at lunchtime today. Another survivor !

Dropped this with a mob of them. This is as far as i could take them this trip
Dropped for an ES cacher to take further east.
LOL, i should have put it on my watch list, i thought i had. Im talking about Matte the frog. I put it out and told Agro01 about it and thought he might go and grab it. A few days later i was going past, as i always go this way when i walk the dog, and noticed it was gone. I was distraught that it may have been muggled and searched all in the water course to see if had fallen off and been washed downstream. I had planned to grab it and take it with me on a trip to Wollongong at the end of that week. I just checked to see if had been logged and was greatly relieved to see that you had picked it up.
Out with the family, walking the dog and decided it was time to move him on, have placed Matte on a bridge over a nice rapid near my home, should be an easy find.
On my way home from squash tonight, took a bit of a detour and had a look for Matte, found him pretty easily and grabbed him to take him home. Will move him to a new spot soon. TFTC.

Wow, it must be getting wild over there. Many thanks for looking after Matte. It'd be a shame to travel across the country just to get washed away!
found this frog yesterday, tftc! I moved it, however came back to get it again as the storm is getting a bit stronger. I'll keep it until tomorrow, find a more secure spot than where I put it

Excellent, our first WA find. Please don't feel shy about moving Matte along. 100m or 1000km, it's all the same for a dark side frog. Any guard rail with a double section is fine for a magnetic frog, and it's all a change of view!
found wqith pinky but decided to leave for someone travelling tftc traffic was bumper to bumper good to have young person along

Matte has moved to Bussleton to continue his travels. Bit noisy where he is, lot's of traffic, so he'll be pleased to see the next cacher to move him on.
Our first time finding our own frog. Couldn't resist getting reacquainted but he'll be back out and hopping soon.
Off the highway on the road home, lying flat on the metal - magnetic!
Hi nutwood
Had to go to Sorell this morning; so took a slightly longer trip to get this croaker.
A drizzly morning, but not to be detered; looked and managed a quick find at 0723hrs this morning. I found it with six other ribbits hiding near a private power pole under plenty of vegetation at Richmond in a graveyard that I did not know existed.
Thanks to Kaatka for taking me to a new venue and thanks to you for the cache;
Cheers OldSaint.

Found this naughty group of frogs together and tried to separate them but they'd have nothing to do with it so eventually had to place them all together in their little group of 7 for a frogoboree.
Found this frog lurking with 6 others under a tree in the shade. They seemed to be rather enjoying themselves and making a bit of a froggy racket so scooped them up before they drew more attention to themselves.
Big bad matte will keep an eye on them all
The race is over and it's now time to reveal Matte's dark secret.
Matte was actually intended to be Touchwood. Much thought went into Touchwood as we didn't want to send out a poor imitation Touchwood and we couldn't find a good enough toad replica. Instead we went the symbolic path, the spirit of Touchwood with an obviously symbolic frog. Matte was purchased but we attempted to create a camouflage colour scheme, only to decide that the colourful look was better. Matte was painted over in his current sombre colours and a new frog purchased to represent Touchwood.
Now all is revealed. Matte is really the shadow of Touchwood and it seems appropriate that he should hop on into the future. Happy travels!

since it is such a hot day Matte is lazing around in the shade
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

Come with a shopping bag, come with a trolley as there is an army of frogs to be had in this area. Bring the dog, bring the kids and have fun searching.
Good hide. TFTF. This little guy has strong magnets and didn't want to leave.
