Description
Convict Frog is a LeapFrog moving cache who wants to get home to Sydney to retire
Please locate Convict Frog, take him away, sign his log and re-hide him in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log - this will give you your smiley!
Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update in GSAK and the like.
Logs
Oooh Young Convict Frog promised me he would be really, really good for the rest of his life if I would take his bison tube off his leg and since, he seemed sincere, I obliged.

'Convict frog' is now very close to home, he has promised to be good!
'Convict Frog' must have known I was nearby, I could hear his piteous cries for attention from a long way off. As I got near he promised to be good and never to escape again, the life on the run is not all he expected and all he wants now is to return home and never run away again.

Moved to a spot in Parramatta Park. Sorry to have kept him so long.
Spotted at the Blackheath frog party - where frogs far outnumbered the humans. TFT
A dinki-di, true-blue Aussie frog if there ever was one . . .
And visiting Blackheath for the informal frog-and-gnome event.
Great to make his acquaintance.
I left him on the table afterwards, for others to move . . .

Nice find today among all the Frogs, Gnomes and others over 70 participants as well as the odd human, some of them very odd indeed!
Many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.

I've got this one. There was a magnificent sunset I was going to photograph after picking this up. Once back at the car my GPS went from day to night mode indicating that the sun had set and it was dead on. The sunset had gone from magnificent to mediocre in a matter of 2 minutes.
What a great litte frog, logged at the small frog frenzy at this morning's event. I had the pleasure of bringing him home so I will try to get him out again this afternoon. TFTF
Another one grabbed at todays event.
Thanks for another frog to add to the bow....sort of.

We had the finish line for the Canada-Australia Travel Bug race today.
several frogs were in attendance and they were the stars of the show while we all went into a frog signing frenzy. I didn't get time to know each frog but I did make my mark. I making my mark I inadvertently made one frog eligible for the Frog Hospital. Not this one though.

Found this guy at the geocaching event/frog signing frenzy at John Knight Park this morning. What a cute little critter!
Thanks for the froggy fun!

after resisting the temptation, to move him to the middle of woop-woop (You all should be lucky i couldnt find any hiding spots!), i decided to take him to an event today, so he could meet more frogs.
Dont go looking for him until 10. If you go now, you'll be wet, lonely, and frogless.

Yes! Not every day I can beat the rest of canberra to a new frog!
Really, it was only an hour or so away. And there's nice bakerys and lolly shops in braidwood too, so that was my temptation to get it.
GPS was originally pointing at a different 3 trunked tree, so after getting more grass seeds in my hair/skirt/anywhere, i did the "Get more accurate, GPS!" dance, and it guided me to another tree, where Convict Frog was like "Well hellooooo? Anyone going to save me out here?"
Now, like the proper convict he is, he will be deported to Canberra. God only knows what could happen there.

Waymarking in Braidwood today so dropped this felon off - at one stage half the population of Braidwood were convicts.
I had known this frog was in the area since its arrival but had deduced that it was in a GC cache that I had placed on my Ignore List since publication. Received a PM from Blossom* asking whether I could look for it so went & had a look at the GC entries & noted that a finder had given co-ords that had proven accurate. Decided I'd give it a go.
Arrived a GZ & found the cache but no frog. Bugger or words to that effect. I looked under the cache, around the stump but to no avail. Nature intervened at this time & as I was standing around listening to the birds, I saw something out of place about 3 metres away. Decided I'd better apprehend this felon before he made good his escape.
He was sitting on the ground in the open with just a few strategic leaves for cover.
So thanks to Blossom* for the communication, otherwise he'd probably be incarcerated here for the term of his natural life.
PS: The logbook had been signed on 30/12 by a local non GCA cacher so it is probable that where I found him is where he was hidden.

Sorry - didn't look for this one after recording a froggy DNF nearby. If it is moved then will add it to my list.

Spotted the frog and he took off in fright into the bush!

This little escapee is hiding in the bush away from the authorities. He's in front of a safe house where he's looked after.
Found this little escapee trying to hitch a ride. I'll keep him safe until Saturday where he will go south to escape custody. If that's too long to hold him I'll pass him on and have him gone by Friday. Tha ks.

'Convict Frog' has escaped custody yet again, he is considered unarmed and not dangerous, you can approach him as you see fit.
Very pleased to meet this dinki-di frog in the company of rogerw3!
Despite his log and chains he seems to be making good progress!
Thanks to Strike-a-light.
