Description
F4 Frog, of course.
'Leap Frog' -- the Moving Cache Race -- December 2011 until January 2012
Please don't hang on to the Frog for very long. If possible, re-hide the Frog on the same day you find it. At most, please find a new hiding place within 48 hours.
Remember that 'moveables' are meant to be found! Don't choose a difficult hiding place, or one that's far off the beaten path. Pick a place that completely out of sight of muggles, but which can be reached easily by frog hunters. And give a good clue!
This way, Leap Frogs will move on their way quickly and safely!
Enjoy!

This little fellow is out and about again.
Popped F4 back out. Last time I hid a frog near here, she was muggled. I've just hidden a cache commemorating this, so in the circumstances, no hint.
Anyone knowing F4 will very soon find him in the obvious spot!

Collected F4 in passing this morning. Nearly posted a DNF as he was "On Guard". Examined closely the usual hiding spots on the rail; no frog. About to give up when I spotted him just stuck to the rail, not in the hidey holes, just on the rail. Talk about being blind sided by the obvious!
Moved this little fellow to another road side location.
Welcome to Devonport - where if you're travelling from Latrobe along River Road, the road suddenly turns awful with its potholes and potholes on top of patched up potholes.
The view, however, for this little froggie is pretty superb looking out over the river.

Found this little froggie as all the cows stared at us in wonder.Yes, I certainly do remember the hump in the road, and got nervous when the grass grew up so long along the fence blocking the view of traffic coming the other way.
....okay it's been a week.
Changed Traffic Conditions
Those who have travelled this road for years will remember (fondly) the bump that used to be at this intersection.
So, to pay homage and mourn the loss, I have popped the little froggie here.
Toot if you've ever been airborne. (Not that I condone such reckless driving behaviour).

Found F4 with a little friend and nearby another cache to boot! Thanks. I will endeavour to move it on asap. He's been there a little while so probably won't mind waiting a day or 2
F4 went for an expedition on a wild windswept day until halted by a washed out bridge. Lots of water birds about so he sought company and hid under the span.
F4 Frog was inadvertently stashed away with other camping stuff after the event and had to wait till the end of semester clean out before he was discovered and ready for action. With apologies, F4 is out and about.
Now 4 months since last found.....can anyone shed some light as to what's going on??
Passed on to the CarrollEyres after the Magic Meal.
Collected this little frog today. He's off to a magic meal tomorrow. Cute little fellow. I don't think we've met before.
Hi UncleTom3
Had to go to Sorell this morning; so took a slightly longer trip to get this croaker as I did not manage to nab it during the race.
A drizzly morning, but not to be detered; looked and managed a quick find at 0723hrs this morning. I found it with six other ribbits hiding near a private power pole under plenty of vegetation at Richmond in a graveyard that I did not know existed.
Thanks to Kaatka for taking me to a new venue and thanks to you for the cache;
Cheers OldSaint.

Found this naughty group of frogs together and tried to separate them but they'd have nothing to do with it so eventually had to place them all together in their little group of 7 for a frogoboree.
Found this frog lurking with 6 others under a tree in the shade. They seemed to be rather enjoying themselves and making a bit of a froggy racket so scooped them up before they drew more attention to themselves.
under a bush at whats becoming my moveable cache regular
Wasn't invited to the frog party but stayed close anyway
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

What a conveniently hidden frog! Finding this guy provided a nice diversion this afternoon.
Lots of frogs moving on Australia Day; this one has no really close by friends at the moment, so would love to be picked up soon before he gets lonely.
Picked up this little hopper after waiting for some muggles to finish reading GZ.
Found this cache and rescued from a fate worse than death : a trip to the mainland of Australia. Actually found a large group of frogs that had been surrounding the event at the beltana on Friday night.
Thanks for the frog
Mr Frog jumped out of the pond one day
And found himself in the rain
Said he, "I'll get wet and I might catch a cold."
So he jumped in the pond again.

The plane has landed and the frogs jumped into the hire car for a lift back to town.

We have you surrounded. Come out with your gps' on. We know you are in there at the event.
F4 is still with his friends Y's Hoppa and Cracker in a new park with a few more sweeping lawns. Don't forget to pick up all three.
Sorry for the delay in getting these three frogs back out
geo kid a, geo kid i and myself left at 5.21 on a frog raid to north west, and north tasmania. our goal was simple, to liberate the frogs from this region and bring them to civilisation
we were successful though most of the north west, only missing a few frogs that had been captured by local cachers on the previous day.
In all we liberated over 25 frogs back to below the border - or at least the imaginary mason dixon line.......
all frogs will be released back to the wild tomorrow.
Anyway here is my log signature
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
Da- Glumpf went the little Green frog
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
And the frog went Glumpf Glumpf Glumpf
But we all know frogs go "La de da de da"
"La de da de da"
"La de da de da"
We all know frogs go "La de da de da"
They don't go glumpf glumpf glumpf

Joined the frog meet and greet. Handed to Budgietas.
Dropped off F4 in a spot where he will be able to observe the gourmet delights from a distance
Woohoo, found Bruiser's brother! Isn't he lovely. We'll have to find somewhere really special for F4.
While dropping off Frog Express, F4 fancied frolicking by the foamy ocean, so we hid him comfortably only a few metres from the sea.
This little fellow has quite a few look-alikes! Found him having a picnic in a quiet spot and took him on his way.

F4 is down on the banks of the Leven River listening to the rock concert on the other side of the river. It is a pleasant spot on this warm evening. However, F4 will be ready to go tomorrow to continue in the race.
It was getting rather hot inside the guard rail - more like a sauna. So F4 was very pleased to be picked up and into a cooler car. Where to next?
F4 FROG F4 FUN F4 FAST F4 FOUR so if you want to have some FUN, move FAST B FOUR this FROG hops away
As we were settling down for the evening a new published alert appeared mmm... will we go find a FTF, tempting, thinking..... ooh another alert and another and another - four FTF's on offer who can resist that. Out the door we dash with the necessary technology to attempt this night time operation. Arrive to find F4 in residence, a quick grab then stop to log our finds as we engage stealth mode and turn the car lights off and crawl a couple of houses up from GZ we become aware of flashing lights behind us. The local boys in blue think we look suspicious (who us) a quick chat and licence check then off to the next one. Thanks Uncletom3 for a great nights caching and giving us the thrill of 4 FTF
