Description
Leapfrog entry
There once was a frog, who sat upon a rock, he croaked for a footy team, he had no sense at all. He fell into a puddle and just before he drowned he caught the caching spirit and went moving all around. Go, go, go little froggy, move, move, move little froggy, cache, cache, cache little froggy. Keep moving all around.
Merry Christmas to all my caching friends

I picked this one up when I visited Mt Clear a few years ago. Time to set it free again in a nice Canberra nature park.
I've put this cache in a secluded spot. It may be here for a looong time, but it will never be muggled. Since the cache race this was part of is years old I decided to give it a HIGH CLEAR view of the surrounding countryside.
It is sitting on top of GCT6WF, a nice, old cache.

Nabbed and signed in a Vehicle I happened to be in.....on the way to a High CLEAR place.
Picked up from a fellow cacher as part of a prisoner exchange. Now out on parole in the Kama Nature Reserve awaiting its next host.
#GA229 - 20:00; Picked this little frog up as part of a recent prisoner exchange with a fellow cacher. Didn't realise I hadn't logged the find until I was about to update the move coords. Carried it around for a couple of kilometres looking for a suitable hiding spot. Finally found something suitable on the return journey. TFTC Fairly Magic

GCA 994 - 9599. Found in the hands of Sol de Lune.
Nice to see a Frog still hopping around the place...
TFTC !!
I find that the moveables are a great addition to geocaching. The fun of chasing them around - sometimes finding them in place - sometimes not - puts a bit more interest on the Geocaching Australia side of things. These games also tend to boost the numbers of moveables around - especially in December and January - perfect time to spend a bit more time caching away in Summer and / or holidays. My favourites tend to be the Gnomes - memories of a mispent childhood come to mind.... Lol.

Dropping off after a road trip to the ACT and ran into a fellow cacher who grabbed this one.
Found with Just a cacher on our way back to the ACT after a short break in SA.

Easy find with Black Bunny. On the way home from an Adelaide trip, so frog should be hopping about in Canberra in a few days.

After spending far too much time hiding in the darkness within my car hopped out and relocated to the garden by my letterbox.
Attending the Central Vic Get-Together event in Castlemaine we spotted two GCA moveable caches waiting for someone to collect them and move them on. We grabbed them as there were very few cachers at the event who are interested in GCA. They're heading to northern Victoria.
Thank you for this GCA moveable cache. It's our 271st GCA cache find.

Found this fellow hiding, set him free to roam again
Late in the afternoon whilst doing a reccy to locate a fallen gnome we passed by an undisclosed location, Its so secret i would have to kill you if i told you, we stummbled across this little fellow in need of some loving , we picked him up and helped him hop on again, we will stretch his cramped leggs and help him find a sunnier place to rest again, after some minor recouperation and a new log container we will release him into the wild again

Um yep the pre dawn raid across the river. What else does one do before sun rise.
JABs.

SORRY for holing onto for so long But is now re hidden.
Knocklofty is a good froggy place. Found him there and he's stayed in the reserve but in a different location. And next to a decent pond, so perfect for an amphibian, but be careful, there is quite a steep drop into it.
Nice moveable. I'm sure the cache description can be sang to the tune of a Christmas carol, but I just couldn't figure which one. (But I only tried "We Wish you a merry Christmas"...and it kind of worked, but suspect it isn't it). Thanks for the cache.
Out again in a break in the cold weather, but with a few friends in case we get snow !
This ones so tough though, a bit of snow wouldn't be a bother !
Thanks for the cache, Fairly Magic !

I went looking for a whole bunch of GCA moveables, but couldn't find some of them - as it seems now, OldSaint had been through before me.
It's hard when there's no hint to know whether it's gone or I just can't find it.
Anyway, this one was large enough to be straightforward.

Sorry for the delay but have been laid up with a work injury for about 6 weeks and haven't been abe to go caching. In a new home now
Taken all the frogs and a couple of gnomes for a drive up the East Coast to Scamander. They'll all be here for a little while. Don't bother looking cuz Tim Tam is going to find them all....
Just as well I stopped and picked up this frog because later in the day, it would have been drowning in run off from the road. The frog was already wet so at some stage, it has rained. Luckily, the rock on top was holding the frog securely. Suppose frogs are meant to get wet now and then.
Taken for a trip to Launceston and then back to Hobart. Will rehide soon, after Tim Tam give them a health check.

Bit of a Tacky spot for this nice frog, but it's near water.
Found on the way back from Hobart, had to leave five frogs a leaping behind

hanging out with 6 mates. hoping to get one last big hop!
Is anyone having problems finding this frog? I've noticed that the other frogs we hid last week, including in this area, have all been collected but this poor frog remains neglected. Should have been an easy find but we're happy to go and check all is OK if he's proving hard to locate.
Handed to Tassie Trekkers over lunch meet.
Left this frig near the beach waiting for his next ride
Picked up this frog while walking the dog. Will celebrate New Year's with him before moving him on

There Once Was A Frog who came from the south seeking adventures in the North West. Out he goes to explore.
Found this nice frog hidding in a tree wanted to move on so hopped into the car. Turned round to see Jeweleyed Croacker diving under the bark.
We found a frog at these coordinates but it wasn't the one we were looking for. We found GA3975 jewel eyed croaker who is meant to be at longford. Checked around just incase There Once Was A frog was nearby but no luck. Jewel eyed croaker was in the tree as hint stated. Could be a mix up. Will contact hider and try and sort out.
Sorry for the delay in logging, i have been very busy today driving to wynyard and back. and i brought back presents ..... well frogs
Anyway here is my log signature
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
