Description
A Munzee Cache place for ZEAMMAFF... with a twist!
Six and Out!
A GCA Traditional / Munzee Hybrid Cache
(PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE DICE GAME PIECE FROM THE CACHE!)
Released for the ZEAMMAFF Event on January 3rd 2012, this cache can be done as a normal GCA trad, as a Puzzle Munzee, or both depending on the hunter :D
To Log as a GCA Trad: No Worries! Simply rock up to GZ, check the arrow, the hint if you need it and sign the log book, no different to a normal cache. Please note that despite the size, there is NO ROOM for swaps. I recommend the awesome GA Cacher App by Mtrax for all your GCA hunting needs!
To Capture as a Munzee: If you havent played Munzee before, you may want to start with an easier one ;) Check the game out at www.munzee.com and download the free "Munzee" app from your iPhone or Android App Store to sign up if you havent already. From there you will have to figure out which one is the True Munzee! Use your phone to scan each code until you find it!
(The others are useful websites, but wont get you points hehehe!)
(PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE DICE GAME PIECE FROM THE CACHE! ...and carefully pack it all away again when you are done thanks!)
-= There is a GCA FTF Pathtag as the Prize for the Quickest Person there!=-

Seeing that I was planning to be in the Meadowbank/Rhodes area today, I did a quick check on GA and found this unloved cache. Having unsuccessfully looked for another unloved GA cache in the area recently, I wasn't too hopeful. Parking on the other side of the bridge near the archery, it was a nice stroll to GZ. Spent a bit of time looking in the wrong area but came back to something I noticed earlier. Got some interesting looks from an older couple that were walking past but I just greeted them with a nice "hello" and they kept on going. Aha - then I spotted what I had been looking for and bingo! Very excited to make the find but a bit deflated as the Munzee app really doesn't like SOP. I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Tried reinstalling, powering off but every time it loads the map it crashes (even happened from at home just now when navigating to SOP). The weird thing is that it worked fine for the Archery Centre virtual - go figure.
Munzee was found and solved quickly (thanks to the hint)
Thanks Zal for the cache.

Interesting shipwrecks, no problems locating cache and munzee scanned first go! Thanks. TNSLLN
Found this one with the kids, as we stopped to look at the ship-wrecks. Couldn't do the Munzee thing, but that's probably cause I don't have the correct app!

Cache on! ..and good luck
Had to go down to the end and reboot the iPhone to persuade it to connect to the munzee server and got the right one 2nd go. Thanks Zalgariath.
I had a good study of the munzee and if my super-electonic brain can manage to remember the details, I'll draw it back at home and see if I can scan it
Thanks Zal, I really enjoyed this today. I had thought to save it for an emergency day when i was a bit down and needed the smell of mangroves to cheer me up but it was such a lovely morning I couldn't resist getting it right away after I'd hidden a few froggies in the area.
Lots and lots and lots of Leapfrogs and gnomes in attendance! It turned out to be a great day for all Leapfrog and Gnome lovers, a great event with great people attending, we all had a ball.
This one was a bit of a challenge as the co-ords had been changed while we went looking with pjmpjm. After a PAF to the CO we got the correct location and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks to Zal for making it all happen!

And this was a great place for historical reasons. I'd already photographed it before I knew a GCA (and Munzee!) was hidden there . . .
All was in good order, nice and dry. TNLNSL.
And joint FTF! Woo hoo!
Many thanks to Zal for all the new caches and Munzees!
