Description

Hohnen's wetlands rehabilitation

Keeping secret watch over the Ramsar-listed Vasse Wonnerup Wetlands, this cache is hidden from view of even the birds. Stretching some 14kms, these wetlands provide a home to more than 20,000 migratory birds and is home to the largest known breeding colony of Black Swans in WA. Much of the wetlands have been affected by the surrounding agriculture. It's important we look after this important asset.

Spoke to one of the adminstrators of the Geocaches for SWC on the weekend, he said he will endeavour to get the faulty caches repaired
Looking forward to finally getting this one. Very Happy

I couldn't find this one either. I climbed up and looked at the roof rafters of each section of the hide. I think this one is gone.

Had a good look today in the whole building, let alone what the clue says, and didn't find it. Just a large number of spider webs but they're a good thing as they eat the flies and mossies...so leave them alone, people. Great hide, not so sure about the hiding spot. Not today anyway.
