Description
the cache is a large tupperware lunch box containing the requirements of a logbook, pen and swaps.
this second frog habitat area will require more stealth than the other RIBBET and if you are seeking this cache in the winter you may need to be prepared to get your feet wet. when i placed it the cache contained a rubber snake, a pair of kids sunnys, a star wars pen, a kids marker, toy dinosaur, lego man, lego head, a marble, two five cent coins, a sharpner, a pokemon thing and a king of clubs. this cache is very reccomended to bring the kids along!

Logs
Found the obvious spot, but no cache. The area looks well used by locals, and it's been 2 years since it was last found.
Having a bit of a tidy up of the area and noticed this one was unfound by me so after a dry walk round the pond the hide was soon spotted and names added to the log.

out and about with SSR and chose a couple of GCA caches. A quick find on a currently non-existent pond. TFTC

A quick find after waiting for the dog walking muggle to pass. No need for wet feet as pond is nearly dried up. TFTC

With a bit of balancing on the conveniently placed log, and some good boots, I got to and from the cache without getting wet feet.
After collecting a nearby geocache, it was on to this one - and only when the GPSr pointed did I read the frog habitat bit.......
Shoes and socks off - a good thing it was warm today !
Then a froggy and soggy cache was extracted, logged and replaced !
Maybe it was the afternoon sunshine, but there was no croaking to be heard today
Thanks for the cache, sam3:)hall !
(Previously listed as found as a GC cache, now done the same for GCA !)

Another day out caching in the school holidays for geodad & geokid while geomum worked.
No frogs visible today but they were there & making a racket.
Geokid looked almost everywhere she could reach (dry areas) but geodad read the clue & started on the wet. Cache was spotted but difficult to retrieve. Geodad applied some natural tools & instead of wet feet kept it down to wet hands (no he didn’t handstand walk he says).
Cache is wet, log bag is wet & ripped (sorry could not replace), log is damp but signable.

I had previously attempted this cache in cooler weather and wasn't willing to go the lengths that seemed to be required to make the find. Today was a warmer day and we were on our way back home so I decided to give it another try.
Initially I tried to stay clothed and dry, searching the area. Then I caught sight of something unnatural and realised I would have to go the extra mile. Shoes and socks came off and trousers were rolled. Looking a bit like I imagine J Alfred Prufrock would have (at 40, in cargos and a flannie and in the Australian bush) I walked along as far as I could in the dry before stepping into the pond. There was a brief "Oh Leeches" moment, then I figured/ hoped that the frogs would take care of the leeches.
The cache was easily retrieved and although the container was full of water the log book itself was dry.
Thanks for the cache

Container has water in it, and the bag is split, so the log book is starting to get wet.
Finding the general GZ area was pretty straight forward. Finding the cache was another matter. We eventually spotted it in the distance. We thought we came prepared with the right equipment but they proved a little short so we needed to change our strategy. Mrs DnA! was kept entertained for a while watching Mr DnA! doing a balancing act to get closer to the cache. There were a couple of scary moments for Mr DnA!, amusing for Mrs DnA!. We managed to retrieve the cache without getting wet. The cache is a little damp inside and the weather was not conducive to drying it out. Thanks for a fun cache.
After looking at the wrong spot I looked at the hint.
Off with the shoes and into the depths I went it was cold.

I could hear the frogs from over 100m away! And they were LOUD once I got to GZ! Then after I started poking around looking for the cache, they were all silent...it was quite funny. When I realised where the cache must be I was dubious about my ability to get it without getting my feet wet. So I took my shoes and socks off - then the retrieval was easy (only one foot needed to get wet though)! A novel hide - an enjoyable cache - thanks samhall!
Once we found the best access to the area we started searching. We looked in all the seemingly obvious places but without success. Then we spied another location. A quick poke confirmed the presence of the cache. Retrieval took a little planning and skill to avoid getting wet feet. An interesting placement. TFTC sam
Found this great cache while being egged on from the side lines by old saint. I arrived at the gz to find old saint finishing up photographing the world around him.... Lucky for him it's a digital camera and he doesn't have to have the film developed.
The cache was in a great location, but I certainly did not get my feet wet. A great cache, congratulations.

Had to find a cache today to fill in the gap in my calendar and I lucked out at Kingston and this one was on the way home. So its 11pm. I have a torch and it was the torch that was the deciding factor in me finding this cache. The light reflected off the cache and thats the only way I would have found this at night.
Managed not to get wet at all but came very close when I was replacing the cache.
Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the cache!

Can you hear the frogs, Fernando? I certainly could! I didn't really need a GPSr - I could have just followed the creek-creek-creek of the brown tree frogs to GZ.
Once there, I had a pretty good idea of where the hide was, but I took 10 minutes or so checking everywhere else just in case, before taking the plunge and grabbing the cache.
A well-stocked container, and a blank logbook.
Thanks sam3:)hall.
