Found this one on the way home today - welcome stop to break the drive. This one is marked as a "nano" but is actually a "micro" cache. The location could have handled a much larger one though.
A fairly easy find. Good leg stretch. Again easy parking which is good with trailer in tow.
Thanks for all yours attempted this trip.

Day 6 of the Muggle and Cacher mid-winter Tour of Tasmania, taking in the West, North Coast and Eastern Side of the Midlands.
Last cache for the trip and TomTom got us here from Tulendeena - unlike muggle Steve's which refused to take him on any unsealed roads, so he just followed me.
It was a nice drive along Bens Ridge Rd and then down Telopea Rd, around Ben Nevis.
Cache found where I would have hidden it. Thanks for the drive and the cache!

It certainly pays to have done your research prior to heading off to look for this cache. After finding "GA4259 Looking At The South Esk", our hand held GPS said that it was about 17km to this cache (crow flying distance). On the otherhand our car GPS said that the road distance to the cache was 187km!!! Obviously our Garmin nuvi was set to avoid unsealed roads if at all possible and it was doing this by wanting to take us back to St Marys, St Helens, Scottsdale, Launceston and then to Upper Blessington. No, we didn't take the long route - we drove the very good gravel road (yes, we had good maps) and in a short time we had pulled up next to GZ. The cache description mentioned leeches. As we had already been hosts to a few today, we decided to protect ourselves to avoid further bites. What a waste of time - we didn't even have to walk into the bush to retrieve this cache and certainly, no leeches were seen (probably because the area was very dry). But, Murphy's Law would probably have applied - if we hadn't put on gaiters the place may have been crawling with the little suckers. A very quick find. TFTC Tassyexplorer
Went for a circuit drive and as it turned out was to follow Tassie Trekkers nearly all day. I did have good maps...being Oztopo v3 on the Montana. I hadn't been over this way for 30 odd years when working all around this area, so it was great to come back and see the changes. Cache was an easy find...so many thanks for the tour T....cheers.

Woo Hoo FTF @ 10.45 GPS took a while to settle and had to avoid some muggle workmen. Looked in a few likely spots before finding the cache. Intercepted 4 leeches and missed one who had a feed. TFTC
