Description
Lovely spot for a tea break and search as I need help here too.
This cache I need help on also. I entered the coords and looked at the map, they were in the water. I visited google earh and worked out to my best judgement where the cache should be. I come up with the above coords. So if any one finds this cache that would be great to know how close I was if they can send back the closer readings for me to edit. Drive past all the fisherman's shacks with care as small children and adults will be walking around the lake and township. No swaps here very small container. Just a small spot to park besde the water for a break from driving. quite pleasent

A quick find after a guided tour through the small township courtesty of OldSaint. The cache was easily located just poking out from under a rock.
We took the more scenic drive around the shacks at Bradys Lake. Such a peaceful area and a good place for a nice little cache like this one. Thanks Tassyexplorer
Another nice break in the journey back to Hobart. Even after a lesson on jackjumpers from old Saint earlier in the day (when we passed a big nest beside the track up Mt King William I) - I was unable to say that these little fellows were jackjumpers for sure. Thanks for the cache, Tassyexplorer.
Hi Tassy Explorer
Went to this cache during our (OLdsaint and mine) trip to the central highlands. The Lake it is on I think is Binney's, but nver mind as it joins Brady's not far around the corner.
The cache container was a bit small for the location, as an Ammo can could be hidden here easily.

One of our less successful caching days today. Searched for 4 caches and came up with 3 DNF's Searched in quite a wide area between showers but couldn't come up with the goods. The lake looked great, and we couldn't believe how many people have homes around the lake, all tucked out of sight of the main highway. Looks like many of them are permanent homes too judging by the number of chimneys in use. TFTC
After finding the cache "GC1FAAY Rocks At The End Of The Rainbow" at the Great Lake by 1:15pm, we decided to head a little further south to look for two caches that had been published since we last visited the area. "Brady's Lake Looks Pretty Good All Day" was one of them. The drive from the Great Lake south was interesting with frequent snow showers and quite a slippery road on parts of the so called Marlborough Highway. Initially we tried to enter from the southern end but this road to closed whilst construction takes place on the dam wall. We then came into Brady's Lake from the northern entrance and were able to drive to GZ (about 200m from a locked construction gate). Thanks CraigRat for updating the coordinates. Whilst the correction was not as great as for the "Water In The Canal Today" cache at Tarraleah, it greatly helped our search. We looked fo about 15 minutes then retreated to our car as a heavy snow storm came through. We then went back for another look and after about another 10 minutes, the cache was spotted. We are sure that had looked in that location before but at least now, the find could be claimed. There was a very different view over Brady's Lake today. Frequent snow showers would make the area quite dark and then, within 10 minutes, the sun would be shining but more snow showers could be seen approaching. Even so, the beauty of Brady's Lake was very evident. TFTC Tassyexplorer
Hi Tassyexplorer
Returned to the highlands today to finish the work I started on the 22nd. The snow that day stopped me from finding your new caches in this area but no such problem today.
This cache took me back to a lake from which many a good meal of "smoked" trout have been enjoyed.
Avoiding the reddish mound of JJs, I found and logged the cache at 1337hrs and spent the rest of the afternoon at the establishment at Bronte Park.
Will get the other one tomorrow.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Found on a beaut day out with the family.
Co-ords were ok, but about 15m out
I found the cache at S42 15.551 E146 29.933 with 2 minutes of averaging.
Take care near the cache as there is an allmighty sized Jack Jumper nest close by!
Thanks
