Description

I would like to see if this falls still looks the same today take a picture.

There is a coal adit and a waterfalls besides each other only meters from the summit of Ben Lomond. Carefull climbing and walking needed. Not good for children as large rocks need to be jumped or walked around and on. Creek is called Storeys Creek as the old mining town was also called the same name. If anyone is walking past this spot as I did one day another photo of the falls would be good to see as I was there Easter 1999. Now I am a lot older it would be a harder walk for me. loved this area, it was the best day of my life nearly. I walked past the Tarn also that day. Made it back to the 4wd by straight through the thicker bush below. That was a hard walk too going down the slopes.

On a joint mission with Tassie Trekkers. A great day with 3 joint FTF's. Very Happy
Love these one's, though a steep walk part way up Stacks Bluff
track then a traverse across very slippery & wet rocks was a bit of a challenge. Throw in strong winds & a bit of sleet & snow just to keep things intersting.
The reward was stunning views when the weather cleared as the photo's show. Thanks for bringing us here Tassyexplorer.

Woo Hoo Very Happy FTF Very Happy a joint FTF with Truimph Twins. Left Launceston at 6am on a mission to find this cache and 2 others. Attempted this cache from Stacks Bluff walking track a 3hr 45 min return trip. It was a typical day on the mountain - blizzard like conditions, very cold. After lots of rock hopping we were rewarded with magnificent views of the waterfalls and the valley. Took a photo of the falls and valley as proof we were there. Thanks Tassyexplorer for the adventure and bringing us to a place not visited before.

Again is this a physical container or a virtual

Thanks for the cache but this virtual appears incomplete. What task(s) have to be completed and what evidence (information from the site, photos etc) is required to prove that the task(s) have been completed?
