Description
I would like to see if this falls still looks the same today take a picture.
There is a coal adit and a waterfalls besides each other only meters from the summit of Ben Lomond. Carefull climbing and walking needed. Not good for children as large rocks need to be jumped or walked around and on. Creek is called Storeys Creek as the old mining town was also called the same name. If anyone is walking past this spot as I did one day another photo of the falls would be good to see as I was there Easter 1999. Now I am a lot older it would be a harder walk for me. loved this area, it was the best day of my life nearly. I walked past the Tarn also that day. Made it back to the 4wd by straight through the thicker bush below. That was a hard walk too going down the slopes.

Logs
Love these one's, though a steep walk part way up Stacks Bluff
track then a traverse across very slippery & wet rocks was a bit of a challenge. Throw in strong winds & a bit of sleet & snow just to keep things intersting.
The reward was stunning views when the weather cleared as the photo's show. Thanks for bringing us here Tassyexplorer.
