Description
Drive to car park and walk if need be
Walking or driving a 4wd on the beach here is just a great spot. You can see some islands, Green Hills and the Nut behind them. If it is a good day then a swim could be on the cards.

Logs
Thought I'd take a peak while in the area. Found with spot on co-ords. Sadly cache had lid off and logbook was satched. I've replaced the log book and cache is now all ok. I'll contact tassieexplorer and see if I can adopt some of his archived caches...as this is another top spot and well worth the visit. TFTEC tassieexplorer...cheers.

Went for a longer walk along the beach than necessary as there were dog walking muggles there that we had to outwait. The cache was an easy find as Mr B actually trod on it. A dead smelly tiger snake featured in the car park. Thanks.
Found after a bit of a search. Beautiful on the beach today. TFTC.

We weren't up to walking all the way to the shell pits on a hot day, so grateful that there was an easier cache on this long, nice, deserted beach. Had some trouble finding it at first as we were going too far into the bush, and wondering how on earth we were going to find it in all that shrubbery... Finally had a look at the previous logs and then changed our search area and found it. Thanks for bringing us here!

Took a short detour this morning to grab this cache on my way to Smithton for work. Took a bit at first to locate but I was determined to find it. GPS took me a little bit too far into the scrub. But I found it. TFTC on this beautiful morning.
quick easy find between showers. great beach to find interesting shells.

Found on our find the caches published since our last visit to the coast and this was one of them. A lovely beach that was very calm providing a great view of the nut. TFTC

It was raining very heavily around home but the weather bureau was forcasting flooding on the East Coast but only occasional showers to the west. So, needing a GA find today for our calendar, we headed north west and were heartened as we got past Wynyard because the skies were beginning to lighten. We got to the car park near GZ and, although heavily overcast, there was only an occasional drop of rain. As GZ wasn't very far away, we headed off (via the beach as recommended) and approached GZ. No-one else around, nearly high tide and great views to the east, the west and out towards Stanley. Our GPS units were taking a little while to settle down but, once they did, a quick find was made. Unfortunately water had penetrated the container and the log was a sodden mess. We took everything back to the car, dried the container as best we could and supplied a new look book in a plastic bag. Hopefully this will survive better than the loose piece of paper. As we walked back to replace the cache, there were lovely views along both directions on the beach but particularly over the Green Hills - they were majestically green with very black clouds behind them. We then started to head home but at about Wynyard we ran back into the heavy rain and it has been raining quite heavily since. Thanks for the cache Tassyexplorer and for bringing us back to this lovely beach.
FTF @ 4pm.
There was certainly a touch of deja vu about this find. I had been within 100m of the cache a couple hours earlier whilst checking out possible access points for Shell Pits cache way off to the left, and earmarking this access for a future visit. Then when checking out the map of the area found this new cache had bobbed up, so off I set again to find it.
Thanks for the hunt and for the FTF opportunity a long way from home Tassyexplorer and greetings from Mandurah WA.
