aussie TODDlers I didn’t find your cache Glastonbury Creek Walkabout on 9 Oct 2023 at 3:12 pm. Found the huge fig tree but a search around revealed no cache.
Needed a find for the 2016 2017 Summer Scavenger Series games so came up very earls and set out to find this one. Took me about an hour. Nice and cool in the early morning and I do not know why it took so long. Simple when I thought about it after wards. Used posted co ords. TFTC Aussie TODDlers.

*FTF* Fortunately I had tried to find this one late yesterday, knowing the area reasonably well as I do, Found Mumma as daylight was disappearing very fast, no chance of finding Baby. "Always Tomorrow"
Back for another go today, arrived at Glastonberry Camping Ground at 1230, proseeded to last nights position, but the GPS had me 50m short and 20m into the scrub. Thought this a bit weird, searched all around, looking for Mumma and a pup, nothing, the GPS was doing it's usual thing under tree cover "Going in Circles" Retreated back to the path for some clear air for satellites to get a fix, still pointing into the scrub, 20m away. Having spent the best part of an hour searching, desided to try yesterday's position.
I retreated to last nights spot, and found Mumma again, and with the help of daylight this time, found about 40 babies, must be a good stud around, just had to sort out which one, Found the right Baby at 1400, signed the log, added a ziploc bag to the log book, added a path tag.
Left the GPS at the site, for it to settle while I filled out the log etc.
After replacing the cache some 5 minutes later, and covered with a bit more material.
Pressed the mark button at 1405 and came up with the above Co-ords.
The orginal Co-ords were way way out, I'm thinking due to tree cover and the possibility of inexperience at taking Co-ords under tree cover.
A great hide and thanks for the FTF.
