Risby Cove Webcam
This is an interactive webcam located at Risby Cove, near Strahan, looking West to South West across Macquarie Harbour.
It is possible to control movement of the camera vertically and horizontally, as well as adjusting the zoom.
The image is available in various sizes and there is also a library of interesting saved images to look at.
There should be a few different places that you can get in the picture, and is it is live, save a screen shot with you in the image.
To log a find for this cache I ask that you do two things:
1/ save the image from the webcam in which you are visible and upload with your log
2/ record the coordinates for your position in the image and note them in your log also

Arrived at Risby Cove on the Geobike on a windy morning, Mrs T is in the Pic waiting for conformation of a successful shot. Technology was working today so here is the result. Thanks for a fun cache.
After attending the Geocaching 102 Event in Hobart the previous evening, we decided to head home via the West Coast and along the way try to meet the requirements for the above locationless cache. This webcam cache had only been published since our last visit the West Coast and was an essential cog in meeting the requirements of the locationless. Once near GZ it took us a few minutes to work out the camera location and the best location to take an image without trespassing onto the guest area of the property. The camera responded flawlessly to the controls and the required image was obtained without any problems at 4:15pm. The photo added to the Gallery shows two images: a wide angle view of the area with one of us in the middle; a cropped and enlarged image of one of us. TFTC
Alternatively, my computer has a little program called "Snipping Tool" which allows you to copy a selected area of the screen as an image.
You can then save your image as a file to upload to the website.
