Happened upon the Over The Moon Locationless for tonight’s supermoon which pointed me in this direction and thought maybe I could get a 2-fer-1 deal! Then realised a moon selfie was the go. Not easy!
Tried my best Mr Squiggle impersonation!

After finding out that there was a super-moon tonight, I knew I had to take a look! My photo location is Temora, NSW. Unfortunately, the clouds were hiding the moon, so I didn't get to see it fully. It was great standing outside and imagining being an astronaut. TFTLC
I saw there was a supermoon tonight but by the time the clouds started disappearing 2.5 hours after sunset, all I got was a blurry full moon ... not particularly good quality photos since they were taken on my phone in auto mode, one without flash and one with, but hopefully good enough to qualify for a smiley. Thanks Spreyton22.
I noticed this one come up as a locationless for he recent summer game of the State of the Nation. However I did not ever seem to be in the right place at the right time to get a photo of the moon during the completion time . Well the competition has finished and now I get a photo of the moon !! Taken before it was totally dark so you can see me as well. I loved Mr Squiggle as a child!
Camping in the Victorian highlands - what a treat with the recent full moon.
Thanks for this cache Spreyton22.

Here in Queensland we have been having the late afternoon storms each day. I had to be quick to snap this pic of the moon before the cloud cover came back over and covered the moon. This is at Logan Village Queensland.

I was sitting at my desk, working away and I turned around to see the full moon glowing in through the window. Awesome, time to log this cache! I open the front door for a better view and there's that bloody cat from over the road on my doorstep, frightening me silly. Photos obtained, car scared off (well, I wish he was scared but he'll be back again tomorrow) and home coordinates given away TFTC Spreyton22

Stopped and grabbed a photo of the wolf moon while out finding some caches around Mt Fairy, NSW. The iPhone certainly didnt do it any justice.

I waited till tonight to capture a photo of the full moon. Great to spend some time outside, just looking at the sky. TFTC

Had a night out in Freo, WA with hubby so thought we would try and get a few locationless for the Summer Scav Hunt. A bad photo, but a moon none-the-less. Thanks for the cache!!
Here's my attempt at a photo of me and the moon

31 december 2017 at 20:17, walking with my kids to the beaches of Kurnell to see the fireworks on the other side of the bay. "Papa, look at the moon!". *TRIGGERED* I need a picture of that!

I had just dropped off a load of passengers at Shepparton Railway Station and was waiting for the next lot to load. Above me was a full moon and the zombies were starting to creep out of the darkness. I snapped quick photo showing the moon, the back end of my zombie proof bus and my debonair greying hair

I quite enjoyed Mr Squggle as a child. This evening I was taking some silloute photos with the architectural majesty of the Norfolk Pines which have been planted in the area and the beautiful colours of the last of the sunset. I glanced up and happened to notice the moon. And thought that if I moved that way a bit I'd get an almost insta-worthy photo with the moon. Which I did and was pretty pleased with.
I used to always wonder what happened with the drawings that Mr Squiggle created with the doodles of his viewer. Did they get them back, were they indeed from their viewers or someone with a texta out the back. Perhaps we'll never know.
Thanks for the locationless.

Participating in the States of the Nation Game so I snapped this picture on Christmas night from the front of the house. We had just arrived home from stuffing ourselves for the second time in about 7 hours and I saw the moon and remembered the cache. It looks an odd shape in my pic. Miss J is not at her best either!
Thanks Spreyton22. Hope all is well up on the coast.

Got this shot last night from near my home. The image is not that sharp as my GPS/iPhone doesnt take the best pictures at night.

Here I am at Lake Binney in Tasmania's central highlands. Overhead there is cloud, blue sky - and the moon.
Amidst the Christmas Eve 2017 shennanigans we managed to capture a moon shot. Picture attached. Thanks Spreyton22 for organising this locationless cache.
We have lots of pictures of the moon- some that have lots of detail of the craters etc. However we decided to post this photo taken on one of our trips through Cameron Corner (Qld/NSW/S.A.). Heading home from a birdwatching trip with our Cousins from Adelaide we camped at Fort Grey in Sturt National Park. Photographing the moon with the Galahs in the tree made for an interesting photo.
Spotted this thanks to the States of the Nation game. With a half full moon tonight I managed a shot using the phone to photo me holding a rarely used GPS with the moon behind. Not the best shot but anyway, it's another bonus smiley. Thanks Spreyton22.
Not the best photo but myself out the front of my house with the moon in the background.
It’s anchallenge to get a photo with my phone. Had to use a torch on the wife’s phone to get light on my face

While we were out looking at Christmas Lights (and finding the Christmas Light Cache) I looked up and saw that the moon was in the western sky and since it was close to dusk, along with all the Christmas lights, it was very pretty.
So I asked Suzy to take my photo for this challenge. Here it is. It was actually a quarter moon but Suzy's camera phone made it go a bit fuzzy so it looked more full than it really was.
Thank you for the locationless.

Snapped a selfie with the moon just before Christmas. The night was clear and with the Christmas lights on I thought this would make for a nice pic of the moon. That's my head in the bottom left corner.
Coordinates are not exact but close to where the photo was taken.
Thanks for an interesting locationless Spreyton22.

While out in the dark last night getting a FTF I snapped a small moon. Thanks for the fun. Will claim this find as part of the States of the Nation games 2017/2018. I now know I should have snapped the Xmas lights down the road as need for a new scavenge today. Oh well, another night hunt. TFTL

For the last few days the sky has been overcast and the moon invisible, but today the sun shone, yet I still wasn't able to find any sign of the moon in the sky, until late this evening when I went out to switch on the Christmas lights. There it was, this tiny minuscule little thing. I went back inside to get Mr Squiggle so he could point out the moon for you. I was unable to include myself in the photo, so Mr Squiggle substituted for me. I also could not include my GPS in the photo as I use my iPad both as a camera and my GPS. Instead if you look very closely at the tip of Mr Squiggle's pencil nose you will see the tiny little moon. (If you expand out the photo). Thanks for the fun I had trying to capture this photo for you. I hope it meets with your approval. Thank you for the cache.

Difficult to get the GPS and yourself in the photograph and have a worthwhile photograph of the moon. I tried. There is a picture with my GPS and my fingers are 'just' visible. I also include a couple more photographs I have taken, without the GPS, making for far more interesting photographs. The picture of the camel with the moon, I took in Dubai.

I came across this locationless cache and it meets my needs for the Seeka Scavenger hunt. Racing around the windows of the house, I spotted the moon out the back and I'm embarrassed to say the photo is terrible but it's the miniscule, white, blobby thing up there above my right shoulder. It's actually quite a pretty, thin crescent tonight, in the dying light of the day. TFTC Spreyton22
On a recent trip to Agnes Water we were surprised to see the moon still up well after sunrise. Here's Mr W and the moon.
Found on our Wagga Wagga trip. After getting back from dinner in the middle of Wagga Wagga, we decided to take a photo of the moon at our hotel. A beautiful sight tonight, may not appear too well in the photo however it looked amazing.

Not much photographic technique available on the iPhone, but a shot of the required items none the less. 2 days after a full moon and eclipse.

Found this moon with blossom* We'd just enjoyed Drinks on the Deck in the nearby resort and had to take a photo of the full moon for Mr Squiggle
Not a lot of clever photography in this one but you can see me and the moon. No gps becasue it kept reflecting the flash and making the whole photo brilliant white! We'd just had a very nice "drinks on the deck" in St Helens
Almost a full moon - taken on a lovely evening at Mandorah across the harbour from Darwin

I was near the Nanango Qld Aquatic Centre at a service station filling the ank when I looked to the east and noticed a cloudless sky and the moon.I did not have my camera with me so decided to use my phone to take a photo. After several failed attempts I got a photo of the moon and the top of my face and head. Just a photo of the moon would have been easy but on your own and trying to capture a GPSr or yourself is a little tricker. TFTC

I was working about a month ago and the moon just happened to be at the right point in the sky to get a photo with available light.
Sadly, when I edited the pic to zoom and trim the road etc, I lost the accompanying data telling me the exact date and the location.
At least I and my GPS are in the pic.
Taken about 8am, mid to late June, somewhere around Sydney (edit: from memory is was oposite Sydney Uni, on the road above Parramatta Rd)

You don't have to be a looney to do locationless caches but sometimes la lune comes in handy for them. Whilst out geocaching under the full moon I took some photos for a GC Challenge and this cache too. Trying to get the camera to sit still on the park bench, and take the photo of me and the moon without messing things up proved a bit of a challenge but I eventually got somnething that is hopefully usable!...
a little bit Blurry, but at 05:30 so was I actually
This morning was beautifully clear as I drank my coffee before work. Thanks for the cache

Looking at locationless caches I hadnt done when I came across this one fairly late one night so raced outside and got the shot.
Had a lot of fun with this cache
I have sparkling lights in a tree in my garden and I took the picture as the moon came up with the light surrounding it. The lights look like stars and I think they look like the outline of Australia. What do you think?
Thanks for the cache Spreyton22

Hi Spreyton22
As a kid, I used to watch Mr Sqiggle on TV. Even had the puppet do a squiggle that I sent in to the ABC.
Enjoyed watching his rocket land, him do the squiggles and then rocket return to the Crater.
Would rush outside to see if the rocket could be seen! Never saw the rocket land but had a lot of fun trying. My kids telescope was not quite powerful enough!
This picture shows Mr Sqiggle at home.
Picture was taken at Midway Point, Tasmania.

Chloe (8yrs) and I were taking the dog for a walk and we spotted the moon rising. This moon is when it was being reported as being on its closest passage by earth. Chloe is also doing a project at school about the moon phases.

In between the rain showers we had some periods of cloudless sky. We took the opportunity to photograph Mr Squiggle in his crater home on the moon (third crater from the right we think). We didn’t, however, get a photo of Mr Squiggle in his rocket taking a quick trip down to Earth to have supper with Miss Jane. Two photos have been added to the gallery: the first shows a waning moon with craters and channels clearly visible; the second shows a distant moon and our blurred GPS (arms were not long enough to operate the camera and get the GPS in focus). For the technically minded, the photos were taken with a Pentax K200 DSLR and a Sigma zoom lens 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 on a tripod. The photo of the moon was taken at 300mm (effectively 450mm due to the small form digital sensor) and f32 for 1/30th of a second.
Spotted beauty full moon in my back yard... Thanks. see pics.

This picture was taken 6 APR 12 for a Challenge on GC. The moon was massive that afternoon, but by the time we got home it had lifted into the afternoon sky, and shrunk a bit.
My DSLR was in the other car, so I used my phone to take the picture, hence no phone/GPS in the picture.

1745 Had left the tripod in the car when I went hunting for GC2MZ10, 'Boomerang View - What a Booti', and had to try and set up the Kodak propped up with my mobile to get the angle required. (Forgot I had the GPSr in my left hand)
Ok, so me and my GPS aren't included in the photo, but it is the best photo of the moon that I have! Hope this is ok. The photo was taken from Freers Beach in Port Sorell, Tasmania.
