Description

On the banks of the Creek.

Our first attempt at hiding a cache. A small cache hidden by our 6 year old in a log on the high bank of the creek. A nice, mostly flat, bike ride along the Diamond Creek Trail from the netball courts/park in Diamond Creek or other access points. Kid friendly swaps inside. Lots of muggles on nice days.

Cache updated today (17/1/24) glad to see people still finding our first cache!! Moved from the decaying log to a higher roost - look up to find.

It was not hidden, so we put it back under a log. It looked like a used syringe bottle and very messy inside , red ink everywhere.
Was still fun to discover. Thank you!

Found this cache with JazzyPop22 & Foss. Very well hidden. No muggles about during find. Took some time to find. Hidden well under some bark, close to the coordinates. This was my first find in 2019. Wear closed shoes..

My goodness this is an old one (by GCA standards). 7 years and still going strong. A nice simple walk down to GZ and we soon had the geocache in hands. There are some logs in the book that are not online but I have no idea why. A pleasant place for a stoll in the afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today.

I found this cache while out walking this morning on the Diamond Creek Trail. I was amazed that this cache is still here as it was not very well hidden. I rearranged the covering so that it is better hidden.

I was in the area and when I noticed this GCA cache, I had to make the trek down to it. Rain was threatening but that didn't seem to matter to the large number of dog walking muggles (or the crazy geocachers). I made my way to gz where I quickly spotted the well hidden cache, safe and sound after a bit of a wait.
Thanks Jandanate for the cache. This is a lovely place for an afternoon walk.

Miss almost a teenager was presented with a choice: a six-year-old's birthday party or caching with Dad... I'm pleased to say there was barely a moment's hesitation. So while the others were off socializing, we took a trip out to the end of the Ring Road.

Thankfully, the family enjoying their bike ride rounded the corner near GZ as we approached, rather than a few minutes later.

Swaggie Flaggie#5 came for a visit, and decided to stay a while.

My first ever Geocache find ! Clapping

Really good cache for a first time newbie. A few muggles around but easy to find especially if you have a dog with you

I needed to get out of the house today for awhile so the young daughter and I headed out to look for this nearby cache. We had both been here before hunting for another GC cache so I was familiar with the best spot to park.
As usual there were plenty of dog walkers out in between rain showers and there always seem to be cockies and/or galahs whenever we visit. Today we saw both in the flowering wattles along the track.

Thanks for the generous sized cache with swag in a scenic spot. We had fun. Dancing

29/06/2012 21:25 {*FTF*} As I go out most evenings caching I decided to go for this one. I grabbed Shadow Cacher and we drove the short distance from home to here. We parked at the entrance to the path, one I know from an earlier multi in this area. We made the relatively short walk to a logical location and Josh soon spotted the container with a pristine log book !! Very Happy GCA caches are not pursued as much as the GC.com caches so we felt no need to rush out for this one. An easy find with pretty good coordinates. TFTC Jandanate Took bouncy ball SL
