Description

Just a cache by Just a cacher

Macgregor Stroll Cache.

Just a lovely spot to find when on a stroll in Macgregor.

I admit it is a work in progress at the moment, but it has a 'wild' sort of look to it.  I like it, and I hope you do, too.  Watch out for some tiny birds.

I went to check on this one and it had completely disappeared, so I have hidden a somewhat smaller container, just a little bit away from the site of the first one.  Co-ordinates have been updated.

It contains a log book, pen and some small swaps.

If you DO happen to be on a nice stroll in the Macgregor area, do drop in.  I do a reasonable cup of tea or coffee, and sometimes there's even a biscuit.  Many of you know where I live, but if you don't, give me a call or send me an e-mail....

Please watch out for muggles, and replace container and camouflage carefully.

Doing some other GCA cache in Belconnen after not finding a stack of movable in the area. A nice cache. Thank you! Last time I must have been here was in April 19, how time flies.

A nice little spot (although quite dry) with nice views. Headed up the hill afterwards, but realised I'd already bagged the trig.

Thanks,

I am not sure why I have never come for this one sooner... for the last 2 years I have lived about 1km away (and before that I only lived 2km away)... I was out for a walk tonight, having my weekly chat to mum on the phone... we finished talking before I finished walking... and I realised I was sort of walking past this cache... well - I was passing by about 300m from it, and home was 700m the other way... only a short detour - lol
TFTC - spotted quickly, by the light of my key ring torch - lol
I had not actually been here to this particular little spot before... but I will have to start coming this way sometimes, and come back for a look in daylight, because it is now seems to be quite a nice little spot Smile

I targeted this cache today so I could claim a cache hidden in 2012 for the Summer Scavenger Series. Nice hide in an area I haven't explored before. Cache in good condition. TFTC

I'm over this side of town visiting a buddy and found her cooking as displacement activity, avoiding her Sunday chores - I had a better idea.
Lovely views from here - it would be nice to have one of these houses with a big deck and a view of the Brindies. What a great town we live in. Thanks for the cache, Just a cacher

Found 8:13pm. I had found a nearby Trig and then headed back to the geovehicle before driving over to park near GZ for this cache. As I approached the hot spot the GPS first took me one way and then it finally swung around to back 4.2m so went in that direction and then I got a sweet spot so checked near that and had the cache in hand shortly after that. I signed the log, checked out the contents and then replaced the cache as found. Now off to find the GC cache.

#GA190 - 09:15; Like Jack and Jill, I'd just been up the hill, but I managed to fetch another trig and a GC cache too. I was headed down the hill again towards the geomobile and this cache was conveniently located along the way. Made my way to GZ where a quick find was had. Convenient seating made this a quite easy cache to log. TFTC Just a cacher Very HappyClan Cerberus

Always love little paths like this! And I also like large cache containers! Mind you in this instance, I already saw the container from the road! (So maybe a smaller one would be better here?).

Thanks for the very nice cache JAC!

Grabbed while out this side of town with fitzy. At first I thought it was going to be in the front yard, then I would have stopped and said hello, but alas not.

Thanks for the cache all the same...

Sorry I wasn't home, Mtbikeroz. I owe you one cuppa.

04-Aug-12
Picked up on my morning rounds, popped in to say hello but only a friendly youngster was home, told me you were out caching! Thanks.

New GCA caches close by are rare so couldn't resist this one. Nice easy find, thanks.

Didn't see this one when published. So thought I'd go out and grab it on a day off. So got on the bike for a short ride. Got to near gz and couldn't ride the bike to gz so left it at the bottom. I then walked to gz and made a quick find. TFtc

Well MBO some of the crazies have to work and wait till they get home to make a find, but still I thought this would have been found by now.

I was surprised by a new cache so near home but work kept me city bound all day and on arriving at GZ was surprised to still see a blank log book.

Found at 1733 (6 hours 40min after publication) where are you SamWalkers and mr_roo?

Thanks for the cache Just a cacher.

30-Jul-12

Just opened my emails, wow, 6 hrs and still none of those crazies, er, FTFers got this yet - wow. Don't they know about GCA (BB does I know).
