Description
Numbers and number sequences can have some interesting properties and patterns. In geocaching, directional numbers (commonly known as coordinates) underpin all hides and finds. At times these directional numbers also can have interesting properties and patterns.
This is a very ordinary cache in a very special location. At the time of placement there are no other caches in Tasmania in locations with similar special characteristics and there are very few in Australia.
The straightforward task is to locate the traditional cache and log the find - one smiley! You will need to bring your own pen and, being a micro, there is no room for swaps.
However another smiley is available to those who recognise the significance of the location and locate the appropriate way to log that recognition. There are some clues - one very big clue - on the first page of this listing.
Enjoy the challenge of identifying the pattern, the associated cache and claiming a second smiley.

Today we had an extra set of eyes looking and that certainly helped.
As for the bonus smiley, have no idea what that is all about.
Just glad to finally put this one to rest.
Thanks.
Have looked for this one before but it was a bit busy that day so we thought we'd try on a quiet morning and it wasn't long before we had it in hand. As for number patterns? Not a clue! LOL

Today was the first day of a two caching expedition with Budgietas and Cheesy Pigs. The day was fine and just what you want for caching.
Left Huonville at 0700hrs, met up with the two other finders and left for Launceston about 0900hrs. Got back to Huonville on the first of November at 2340hrs. A great trip; first day excellent and was topped off with an event and caching to mid-night after. Crashed for the night down near the airport.
This cache was my 40th find for the day and my last physical cache as such:
After attending the event "Just Because" at the Cock n Bull, Budgietas, Cheesy Pigs, CraigRat and myself continued caching late into the night. After a short search the cache was located and found; the cache to hand, the log signed and the container replaced as found at 2347hrs.
From this cache it was off to crash for the night and get ready for the next day.
This days caching produced fourty-one finds for me, eclipsing my previous best finds for a day by twelve finds, total of forty-one for the trip so far. I think Cheesy beat his previous best too.
Thanks for the cache;
Cheers OldSaint.
Given the hide, maybe it should be a 2 or 2.5 difficulty.
