Description
Continuing the Pipeline Track Power Trail
After finding wilco's Wet Wattle I decided to continue on and place another. A gentle stroll up the hill and I found a likely location. I placed it and was just thinking of possible names when a bumblebee gently bumped into my forehead and fell onto my shirt.
He righted himself and flew off and I decided that would be it.

We were at the co-ordinates, and after reading the hint we thought we could spot the location. But .. a new home is being built very close by, with builders and possibly an owner within sight. I say possibly an owner because he was eyeing us off very suspiciously as we left the track. We decided not to enter the area as it may be private property.

Out and about with the Rafas caching before Christmas, after finding the right twin tree and search for the cache was deep inside the cleft, TFTC TNLN log dry. Happiness was find the Mothership Connection a couple of minutes ago.

Grabbed this one with GooseandEgg for a quick caching fix on Boxing day. In fact I overlooked its hiding spot and it was only Goose and his good eyes we found it.

This summer scavenger series is sure getting us out and about. SSR must have had his glasses off when he looked for this as he missed it. I dug around unnecessarily too, it was easy to find......eventually! Thanks Cheesy pigs for a few more scavenger points

Well, it's been a while since my last GCA cache.... approx eight years. It would appear I am now out of geocaching retirement.
The geopup and I had a great day exploring the lower section of the pipeline track with Eeepees and AlbyDangles. We had great assistance from little ep. Thanks for the cache.

EeePees very first GCA cache, whilst out on the pipeline track in the most excellent company of AlbyDangles, Lil Rafa and geoDog, and my younger ep. This could open up a whole new caching chapter!
Thanks for the cache Cheesy Pigs.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Oh dear we are really getting slack. Took all morning to make a decision of where we were going caching today. Finally a decision was made that Mr Felix would try to complete the PTPT trail and Mrs Felix would go shopping.
Well TomTom took us the long way and it was after 1pm before Mr Felix was on his bike!
Several DNF's today but not too hot not too cold made the cycling fun. Only took about 2 hours to do this section.

When we found this cache we were a little puzzled that it had been some months since the last find. Then we twigged that it was a GCA cache and it all made sense. It must puzzle other cachers why there's such a gap after Wet Wattle. The lack of tree cover here meant that our GPS'rs actually worked properly instead of bouncing around like rubber balls on a trampoline which was quite a novelty today. Thanks cheesy pigs.
A neat little hide in the logical place, but no bumblebees or even transformers seen today !
Thanks for the cache, Cheesy pigs !
Thanks for the cache, Cheesy pigs !
Looking for some GCA caches today for dragon zone points and this was one of our target caches. A quick find with the aid of the hint. TFTC
Took a bit of retrieving as it had 'fallen' but we managed to dig it out and put it back in a better position. 5th in our marathon caching day out .
Another mild winter's day had us back on the mountain and this end of the PTPT trail. TFTC
I parked the motorbike very close to this cache and made a quick find with the help of the hint.
Found whilst caching along the Pipeline Track with Tim Tam. Going to place a few today.....
Thanks Cheesy
Thanks Cheesy
A day caching in the sun lead us to the PTPT caches we havent done (at the easy end). a quick stroll from the car had us at this cache. A quick find once at GZ. Thanks for the cache
A quick find with spot on coords. Peaceful spot, no muggles around. TFTC.

Great little cache in this secondary series. I also noted another reason why this is a gca as I wandered further along the track to hide another, I encountered an area I had been before with caching. Passing the well I have placed another gca cache along the track to be published shortly.
A lovely green spot, only spoiled a little by the tyre tracks through the mossy ground.
A quick find, after which I hung around for a while to soak up the air and the view.
Thanks!

We were in Hobart to spend some time with muggle-daughter before she leaves this afternoon for five months on Macquarie Island. We needed both a morning activity and a GA cache for our calendar. This was an ideal target as we could enjoy a pleasant walk in a relaxing environment. We enjoyed the walk along the track and once near GZ, we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC cheesypigs.
Oh, just realised I didn't even notice Old Saint's humungous fungi! I'd just jogged a monstrous jog (for me) so was starting to feel worn out, and pleased that it was going to be all down hill on the way back. A really lovely spot for a cache, and a neat hide. A terrific afternoon. Thanks Mr Cheesy Pig.
Hi Cheesy
After a night out on food and wine last night with friends on the Peninsula, it was hard to get up and get going this morning.
However, had to come to the big smoke to take care of some business and decided to visit this cache on the way to Huonville after the work was done.
It had sat unfound for far too long! As you know, I'm not really into going after FTFs unless it has not gone! This one hadn't gone, but it has now. Thanks for the FTF.
Took the short cut to the cache via Browns Road. Unlike a lot of the PTPT caches in this area, the GPS led me straight to the cache for a very quick find. This in itself was a bonus!
The cache was extracted, the log signed and the container replaced as found at 1142hrs.
This ground zero is absolutely cracker jack. So green and peaceful.
I lingered for a while just to soak up its beauty and the view.
Two humungous "Fungi" really took my eye. I loved it!
Just one question; did you or the bumble bee go away with concussion and a sore head?
TFTC, a great ground zero and the thrill of the find
Cheers OldSaint.

A new cache, deliberately placed on GCA so Craigrat can feel free to do the same
