Description
Logs
A very nice drive to this 1 but I would say the cache is MIA – will need a cache maintenance on this 1 – the area has changed a bit – guard rails are all new.
Tagged along with Team Merlin. Out for a caching run to claim a few caches in the area.
With GZ in hand a nice quick find.

Doing a cache run with JJCC and we weren't holding much hope for this cache due to the new roadworks. Finding a safe spot to pull over we ended up some 75 metres from GZ so we walked back along on the bush side. Interestingly there is some of the old guard rail in situ, with new rail attached at either end. In the end we did locate the cache container on the ground under the rail, some 25 metres from GZ. cache container is in a very poor condition and basically starting falling apart when we touched it - could undo the lid and the bottom has fallen away. The log is surprisingly in excellent condition. The container was replaced at the base of the big tree stump which is just near the rail.

Out for an afternoon drive on Bell's line of road towards Bilpin. This was the second of three found with one DNF for the afternoon.
This one was out in the open when found (possibly due to recent road upgrade) replaced back where it should have been.

All in good condition. Roadworks gave me heaps of time to sign log and replace without interruption.

No idea why it has been so long between drinks for this cache, but no problems, it was found today and all was good.
Thanks for another one ASOH.....

Out for the day with pjmpjm mainly to do the "Striving Towards Blue Mts Power Trail". It turned out to be a very good day for us with plenty of finds.
This was an easy find in the end, even with the coords slightly off the clue is enough to get you there. The cache was in good condition and quite dry after all the recent rains.
The coords in pjmpjm's log will get you in the right spot.
Thanks for the cache.

This was one of more than twenty logs that rogerw3 and I made while travelling down Bell's Line of Road this afternoon, from Bell to North Richmond. We found mainly GCAs but also two GC traditionals.
Our main effort was to complete the 'Striving Towards Blue Mts Power Trail' in one afternoon . . . and we nearly succeeded. We found 13 of 14 and DNFed one that now seems almost certainly to have been muggled. (At the end of the day we talked to a previous finder who thinks we checked the correct place, in vain.)
I was a little bit worried about No. 8, because the TC team had given new coordinates quite some distance away from the published coordinates. However, the clue proved to be just too good . . .
I've given the coords above, as calculated by rogerw3's GPSr. I wonder if TC's suggested coords are a typo. Anyhow, those quoted here should get you pretty close.
All was in good order with the geocache. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to the CO for the cache and for the whole power trail!

FTF!
On a work day shortened by a sick son, I made a quick park and grab here.
THe co-ordinates were a bit off but the clue was spot on.
