I love to look for these caches that haven't been found for some time. This one is about a year since it was last found.
I arrived at GZ and had a cursory look at the 5 available sites, only to come up empty handed. And then a longer and more detailed search of each prospective hide, until I finally saw the cord holding the container wrapped around a bit of the dead tree. When you see it, it is so obvious!!!! With its recent history and 181 weeks since its last find we weren't hopeful here. If it had been a GC cache we wouldn't have even bothered looking but because it was GCA we had to have a go.
Our GPS took us to one thing that fit the clue but there was no cache there. We went to the next closest and Mr Beetle soon found the cache there.
Bit of a sneaky placement here.
Thanks.

Walked in via the long grass and muddy track to find......nothing.

My GPS gave me the option of a couple of trees, but after a good 10 minutes at each, it was time to give it away.

Oh well, you have days like that...so be it.

Thanks anyway....at least I found the GC back at the car park.

In the neighbourhood and why not take the stroll in the early morning and walk further across this vast expanse of grass. No cars or boat trailers here at the moment. Wonder why people would put a boat ramp in this spot on the tree lined and narrow creek. Approached GZ as indicated by the GPSr and could not find the cache. Expanded my search as in my view there was only three places it could be. Tree number three and there it was. One small Bison tube hidden behind the bark of a large tree like it is supposed to be. I saw the attachment as I approached GZ so when replacing I managed to conceal the attachment a little better.

Arrived here with just GPS coordinates stored in my GPS. I searched for quite sometime and started to walk away when I decided to look up the cache page and hint.... Armed with some new information I returned to find this cheaky little hide!

Nice one! Deserves more visits! Thanks stretched88

Sad did not find. Bad pick for first attempt as terrain more difficult than expected.

Found at 0755. Wow and FTF Very Happy after 8 days of being placed. Like this area I had a GC cache here but closer to the gate. Had a pleasant into the GZ. TFTC.
