Description

A cache within a cache when moveables have been logged in.The Mrs and baby often need a place for trackables that are brought back from places we visit. To have somewhere that is secure is a need so hence the mystery. The hide is on our boundry and protected from muggles. If you are passing by and decide to grab this cache there may be more then one cache to find.If the gophers are at home give us a shout and say g'day.

Spending the night in Corowa prior to heading to Wagga for a couple of days of caching. Travelling with Happy Pants and The Empire as we detour via some ‘roads less travelled’, letting our GPS be my guide.
Does it get any better than travelling this great land of ours?? Coffee, caches, waymarks and photographs and company.

Thanks for Cahce and for bringing us here. Clapping

We came through this area as we had not found a dragonZone cache in the Lockhard LGA. When selecting caches we were intreged by some of the logs for this cache so onto the must find list it went.

On arrival we spent a few minutes admiring the many metal sculptures in the garden before following our GPS to an interesting spot. Following instructions we navigated our way passed sticky spiders webbs and giant cockroaches until we located what turned out to be a cache container. Log signed we returned everything as we had found it.

Thanks for this cache Baby&Mrs Gopher and for a very enjoyable caching experiences which will be added to our caching tales.

Seeing how I had a day off and there are some new caches awaiting the FTF’s down in Henty, I decided on asking AngusnmumyAdventures and LilDonnasAdventure to try for some joint FTF’s. Big Grin We started the day off by driving along some back roads so AMA and LDA could make some finds, which I have already found and then headed to the new caches. We made two FTF’s Big Grin and found some other caches along the way back to Wagga. We stopped for lunch at the Uranquinty Bakery which was delicious. Big Grin TB Visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s for taking the time to place the caches we found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to us and others. Big Grin TFTC’s Smile

Had a staring contest with a magpie who was also intensely interested in the hide location. So many spiders; was debating whether I wanted to reach in when Baby came out and startled me, and very kindly retrieved the container for me. Thank you for the stories and cake at the late hour, Baby&MrsGopher!

Some great caching around Wagga this early morning to end up in the Rock for my special celebration cache for nr 11000. Where has time gone? Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of caches around. Last time I was here I was a bit dissapointed by dnf's and terrible containers, but today it was so much better. Thanks to all the CO's for the placing and maintenance of the caches. Sure going to come back here soon. Looked like you were not home?

ANZAC Day 2018
I started the day off by going to the dawn service in Temora. I loved the service and when the Spitfire (plane) went over the top of us. I then headed home for some breakfast and seeing that I have the day off of work I found myself driving to ‘The Rock’. Originally to hike up to the top of ‘The Lion’ in ‘The Rock Nature Reserve’ but seeing how there are caches along the way, I thought I would get a few Smile added to my accounts as well. I also learnt a few things today. Unless stated otherwise, all caches were found quickly. On some of the smaller log books/paper I signed as 25/4 JM. Thanks to all CO’s of the caches I found, the locations I experienced and for the fun I had today. Smile
Today’s totals:

My 3rd GCA find of the day. This is also my first GCA Mystery cache. It was a little up setting not being able to meet the CO's of the cache but anyway maybe next time. TFTC

GCA1172. Found during a caching run down to the Wagga region this ANZAC Day long weekend.

After an eventful and enjoyable trip through the bush collecting lots of caches with baby&Mrs gopher, we returned for me to pick up my car and to collect the final few caches that I had yet to grab. This is one of them - and this one hasn't been found for a while !

After being attacked by a drop bear just around the corner I retreated to the geomobile where I was able to reach and grab this cache without risk of losing an arm to the nasty creature I had just escaped from.

No TB's in or out today but a couple did visit.

Thanks Baby&MrsGopher for the novel use of a hole.

After the 40 minute goss and cold drink , we found two very different caches within the boundaries.
A sneaky little one here safe from any locals walking by. A great day out and catch -up gossip with the owners.
