Description
Each of us have a birthday, can you find your birthday location?
To log this cache, you need to get as close as possible to the co-ordinates that you work out based on the following criteria and post a photograph of that location:
(An extra smiley if you log this cache on your birthday)
Take your home co-ordinates and then substitute your birthday as follows;
Birthday DAY 29 (01-31)
Birth Month 06 (01-12)
Age 52 (Add a zero to your age)
Birth Year 1973 (Add a zero to the last two digits of your birth year)
HOME CO-ORDINATES:
S42 07.536 Hence the South co-ordinate you would use would be S42 [Birth Day] 29.[Age] 520 =S42 29.520
E147 09.356 Hence the East co-ordinate you would use would be E147 [Birth Month] 06.[Birth Year]730 = E147 06.730
For some this will be easier than for others; some may find that their Birthday Co-ordinates are out to sea, others on private property or in another type of hard to get to area.
In these cases, get as close as you can and still take your photograph and log the cache so long as you are "being honest" about your age etc. Just give it your best go!
Where you can get to the worked out co-ordinates, a photograph with you and your GPS would be great!
It is my opinion that in some circumstances, Locationless Caches are harder to log than are some of the more traditional caches. This may be one of them. Hopefully, using your home co-ordinates as the base for this cache, your birth co-ordinates will not be too far from your home and make it possible for you to get a smiley with this cache.
WHEN YOU LOG:
1. Give your birthday co-ordinates.
2. The photograph with your GPS and one without if it spoils the picture.
3. If you took the photograph on your birthday.
4. A short description of the area we will call "YOUR BIRTHDAY GZ."
Cheers OldSaint.

Firstly take my home co-ordinates:-
South: Degrees 41 add my birth day 04 plus age with a zero 710 so south becomes S41 04.710
East: Degrees 147 add my birth month 01 plus year with a zero 500 East becomes E147 01.500
This actually put me about 300 metres from the shore in Woods Lake so the photo is me at the closest point without getting wet.
Take your home co-ordinates S36°22.127 E145°24.675
and then substitute your birthday as follows;
Birthday DAY 13
Birth Month 01
Age 77 (Add a zero to your age) 770
Birth Year 1944 (Add a zero to the last two digits of your birth year) 440
HOME CO-ORDINATES:
S36°22.127 Hence the South co-ordinate you would use would be S42 [Birth Day] 13.[Age] 770 =S36°13.770
E145°24.675. Hence the East co-ordinate you would use would be E145 [Birth Month] 01. Birth Year]440 = E145° 01.440
Which puts me on S 036° 13.770' E 145° 01.440'
The north end of Palmer Road between Tongala and Wyuna which is where this photo was taken, yesterday
S33 30.570 E115 10.630
But the best bit is, that we were out in the little tinny on Geographe Bay crabbing on my birthday, not far grom gz - a nice feed we got for my birthday.
I'll put a photo on of the beautiful dolphins we saw playing around the boat while we were fishing out there, waiting to pull the nets up.
Thanks for this Locationless Challenge OldSaint
Congrats on first; your birthday and second, getting your 1000th find
Thanks for taking the time to do the cache
Cheers OldSaint

I did the required calculations and worked out my Happy Birthday GZ was S35 15.480 E149 10.650. I was very happy to see that not only was it accessable, it was near a cache that I've done before and there's one nearby that I didn't have ! So today I got to my Happy Birthday GZ and there was a convenient tree stump there - just like so many other caches !
TFTC !!
What a great birthday location, it looks good enough to be a painting. The approximate spot would be in the valley before the hill but as this is private property we're only going off the GPS elevations. Unfortunately not found on my birthday. Now to find MrG's birthday location.
I took the photo from S26 28.107 E151 07.530. At least I was on the Southerly co ordinate.
Birthday Co Ordinates S26 27.590 E151 07.530
Photo is taken across tall grass and then there is a paddock.
Not taken on my birthday.
The area is mainly roadside grass and tress and then agricultural land.
I drove 130Klm from home to be able to claim this one. Now for the drive home but at least I can get a few more locationless caches on the way. I already have all the GC Caches in the area. TFTC
Many thanks to the CO for offering me the opportunity to log this interesting Locationless from the roadside, instead of risking life and limb by plunging into the trailless wilderness that represents my birthday coordinates!
To repeat my earlier log . . . I found my personal 'birthday coordinates' situated in a very desolate section of Wolgan State Forest, just north of Ben Bullen State Forest, about 3 kilometres west of Wolgan Road, more or less north of Lithgow, NSW.
Looks like a really great and really wild place! I wonder if I'll ever penetrate there on foot. In the meantime, here's a shot looking in the right direction!
Logged with permission of the CO
Thanks OldSaint
So I decided to plug my partner’s coords in. He doesn’t actually live in Tassie but is part of Team Hookline and is living here at the moment for a few months, so it counts, right? His came up somewhere near Trowutta and looked definitely possible. Excellent!
So off we went to the far north-west, found our way along Reids Road and even found an old forestry track that seemed to lead in the right direction. Parked the car in a clearfelled patch and followed the track on foot, till about 400 metres when we were forced to bush-bash. Not too bad at first, but got steadily worse and worse, taking forever just to go a few metres, until at 360m from GZ we had to stop. The bush had become just too impenetrable. It was horrible regrowth forest, full of cutting grass, scrubby tea trees and dense prickly scrub, and it was really getting impossible to proceed. We were reluctant to stop, wanting to get exactly to GZ, but we didn’t have unlimited time... and GZ would just be a random bit of scrub exactly like the random bit of scrub we were already in anyway... so we took a waypoint and photo and grudgingly decided it was close enough, and headed back.
We were disappointed not to have made it all the way, but we certainly gave it our best shot! We even tried another forestry road on the way back along Reids Road, but it didn’t get us any closer so we didn’t go for another attempt. Oh, and all this was done on *my* birthday, even though it was my partner’s birthday coords. Um, hope that’s not too confusing, and I hope this log is acceptable to claim a find.
Thanks OldSaint for an excellent locationless cache that was fun and challenging (probably should have a higher difficulty rating!) It was a great crazy adventure and taught us something: that places that look easy peasy to get to on a map can turn out much harder than expected!!
Got as close to the coords this cache
Adrian
S43 03.400 E147 11.720 is off Van moreys road at the snug tiers...
S42 03.400 E147 11.720 is near lake Sorell
My coords put me in the middle of Geographe Bay off the coast of Dunsborough WA.
Got fairly close to that today when we went for a birtday lunch at Clancy's Fish Cafe in Dunsborough then we went to Xscape fun park as a treat for the kids.
Yes i know, most people have grandkids the same age as my kids are, lol. 7 & 10 yrs. Hard work being an old fart with kids. lol.
Not possible to do a photo for this as i dont have a boat.
Saw this one last night and thought that as it was a birthday cache, I should check where my Birthday Co-ords' were.....and it turns out they are only 9.6ks from home.
My home co-ords are South 35 24.173 East 149 05.243.
My Birthday is......today.....24 November 1958. (Yep, I'm 54)
So my Birthday co-ords are South 35 24.540 and East 149 11.580.
Looking on google, the co-ords were just south of a street (She-Oak Place) a little over the border in Jerrabomberra NSW, and they looked very accessible. So I headed out this morning hoping to visit the area. Alas when I arrived in the general area there was a, somewhat faded, sign stating Private Property - Keep Out. So not wanting to get arrested (or anything worse) on my birthday, I headed back to car admitting defeat.......only 363 metres from my birthday co-ords.
Attached a couple of photo's of the Private Property sign with my GPS showing the distance to GZ, and other of the street sign closest to the co-ords....She-Oak Place Jerrabomberra. As you can see from the first photo, the actual GZ spot is over to the right of the sign, so unfortunately you can't see it.....but you can gauge what it would be like.
Although I didn't make it to the actually co-ords, I was only stopped by the fact it was private property. However, it was still a fun and interesting way to start what is my 55th year.
Thanks to Old Saint for the cache and the logging permission.
Good luck to other Birthday hunters.....
It appears one of the previous loggers either don't know how old they are or in which year they were born
Darn! This sounded like a great idea for a Locationless, but I found my personal 'birthday coordinates' situated in a very desolate section of Wolgan State Forest, just north of Ben Bullen State Forest, about 3 kilometres west of Wolgan Road, more or less north of Lithgow, NSW.
Looks like a great wilderness place! However, I don't know if I could really make it in there on foot. Maybe I'll have a drive up Wolgan Road one day, and see if there's any access.
