It is "bleeden obvious' that this is a Fiat, but is it a 2005 model? Very Happy

S 42° 42.161 E 147° 14.884 QQQ OO5

I was in Brighton Tasmania getting a GC cache when this car drove past.

It is bleeden obvious that this car owner not being able to use five consecutive Qs on his number plate elected to substitute two zeros for two Qs.

His car an Audi Q5 is registered as QQQ OO5. Very Happy

This wasn’t bleedin’ obvious to me, but it was to Muggle Hubby who pointed this out to me. This Personalised BMUUZ3 numberplate Was on a BMWZ3 and used the clever way of the letter U twice to make a double U=W.
Thanks for this Locationless Rigger64

12-Nov-19
On/near the NSW Central Coast there's a police car with the number plates "RBT". I think they often like to roll out this particular car if there's a town fair or similar event on. However I haven't seen the car around to log it for this cache.

However I did spot an unusual number plate - "OVLOV" - the other day, and noticed that it was on a Volvo. Cool! Photo taken, cache logged Very Happy So many funny pics in the gallery for this cache. TFTLC! Very HappyClan Cerberus

The big wedding day arrived for our granddaughter’s wedding, in Queensland, and with it an entourage of vehicles with the hairdresser, make-up lady, photographer and florist.
It was an incredibly interesting production, the whole process taking four hours to transform the bridal party ladies into beautiful princesses (not that they weren’t beautiful people before).
Even Muggle Hubby lined up for a daub of make-up to cover the spot on his chin where he’d cut himself shaving.
As the photographer was leaving I noticed her numberplate and took a photo.
A great way to advertise your business.
And the wedding turned out spectacularly.
Thanks for the Locationless Rigger64

Travelling down the Goulburn Valley Highway, on our way to do more of the GC Mt Disappointment caches, we were travelling behind this red car, it wasn’t until we were slowed by lanes diverging was I able to notice the numberplates which was definitely stating the bleeding obvious.
Not only did it give us a laugh, I quickly snapped the photo with this cache in mind.
Thanks by making the trip more entertaining for us Rigger64

01-Mar-18
I've spotted a couple of interesting plates around town but have never been in the position to photograph them when I do actually spot them. The one that amuses me most is the VM Tiguan with the rego "BIG BUG", then the other day I happened to see the number plate "I GOT A" and sure enough it was a Jeep.

I was parked next to this one when I went to the post office and had decided to snap its plate 'street photography' style when I returned. Of course if the number plate says ABEEMA the car must be a BMW. Definitely a case of stating the bleeding obvious.

Thanks for the cache.

07-May-17

05-Sep-16

10-Sep-15
followed this one part of the way to work. he was driving like a ratbag. Nice car thought. The Capella was a very reliable car....but that's Mazda, right.

30-Aug-15
Apparently, it's a Jaguar XK...but I needed my Top Gear-loving son to tell me that. He saw the car, and I saw the plates.

30-Aug-15

Came across this one on the way home from shopping. Had the SLR on the passenger seat and took a stack of shots like a cowboy on a horse. One was good enough. A Holden Crewman with the plate CREWIE.

01-Aug-15
Picking up my kids from dancing at Winmalee Shopping Centre, I spotted this Holden Cruze. I took the shot on my iphone and walk past the cafe and got some strange looks from a family of 3...I think they owned the car! Hey! Am I breaking any laws people? Finish your dinner!

28-Jul-15
Followed this 'beetle' up Lapstone hill from Emu Plains on the M4.

04-Mar-15
I was behind a van yesterday on the expressway north just off the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the numberplate BAAAAA - it was a meat carrier.
Sadly the van pulled away before I could get the camera out - but there is no mention on needing a pic, so maybe detail this will suffice?

01-Mar-15
We pulled up behind this vehicle and Mr W states "Gee, that's pretty obvious isn't it." Then we remembered there was this cache so we grabbed the camera a got a photo before the lights changed.

Thanks for the cache Rigger64

An Audi Q3, presumably driven by the real estate agent I was meeting for a house inspection adjacent to his car.
GPS came out a bit fuzzy in the picture, sorry for that. THe car was pretty clear though.
Spotted in Torrens Park, in the foothills suburbs just S of Adelaide.

01-Jul-14
Spotted this REDMG with the obvious number plate while caching in Darwin recently.

21-Jun-14
An Audi Q7, spotted at LeCornu's Furniture showrooms at Keswick, just SW of Adelaide.
Labelled with a highly thought out and detailed plate, expressing exactly the make and model that carries the numberplate.
I had to do a lap of the carpark so I could take the picture from the car. Careful observers may notice my motherinlaw's reflection in the GPS screen.

17-Jun-14
Yep! That's definitely the colour of this car - yellow!

15-Jun-14
A VW kombi owned by a sort of co-worker. Spotted in the carpark at work , Flinders uni.

15-Jun-14
I saw this on the way home from work last week, right by the Cross Rd/Princes Hwy intersection. Nice car. If I was to have a mid-life crisis car, I think it might be one of these, only British Racing Green.

26-May-14
Spotted on the way home, a little Honda Jazz, aptly named JAZZ 02. Nearly at the corner of Kensington and Portrush Rds, eastern side of Adelaide.
Seen a while back, only logging it today. Photo might be a bit fuzzy.

26-May-14
Spotted quite a long time ago, logged today. A Mazda CX7, cunningly named MYCX07. Intersection of Grand Junction Rd and North East Rd, Adelaide, right on my posted coords for "Bend the Jelly" Cool

Stirling, in the adelaide hills. Hardly 4wd territory, but that doesn't stop the locals driving them. This H3 Hummer has an apt, but hardly world-shattering numberplate: H3
Sorry 'bout the photo quality.

22-Nov-13
I was driving along minding my own business when I spied this car. The number plate was a standout especially since the driver was showing that it suited them to the ground noticing the activity they had just finished completing.

18-Sep-13
This is actually a friends car.... Is a 1985 Alfa GTV...

Thanks.

Spotted a while back, logging today. A Mazda 3 SP25. Number plate "SP25".
Not much more to say. Spotted on Park Terrace, North Adelaide Parklands.

28-Jun-13
This Mercedes was just begging for a smart, clever and witty numberplate. So they ended up with this? Seems like they ran out of ideas when they got to the counter at the registration office.
Edit : Spotted at the intersection of Portrush Rd and Kensington Rd in Adelaide's eastern suburbs.

28-Jun-13
This Rover V8 has an obvious number plate. Can you guess what it might be?
Spotted near the intersection of North East Rd and Smart Rd Modbury in the N E suburbs of Adelaide.

28-Jun-13
Spotted sometime earlier in the year, I saw this Toyota sedan with the extremely deeply-thought-out numberplate "TRD 1". How long did they think about this one??
Spotted while waiting at the lights at the Tollgate at the foot of the Princes Highway on the outskirts of Adelaide.
EDIT : got the coords right now.

30-May-13
Logging today but spotted ages ago. "RedPug", is, obviously a red Peugeot. What more to say?

Found on Greenhill Rd, Burnside (Eastern Adelaide suburbs) while driving to work.

Hi Rigger64
Was driving on the Brooker Highway in Rosetta to Collinsvale, Tasmania to go walk to and look for two caches; Wellington Peaks D and Wellington Peaks DX; when I espied this van and its number plate "HOSES" and one thought flashed through my mind - Can you guess what it was?
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

10-Apr-13
Spotted on the way home, I saw this Mazda CX9 with a bleeden obvious numberplate. Just below the entry to the freeway out of Adelaide. I was behind it for a km or so until they pulled off to the right somewhere.
Edit- if you think about it why call it CX"0"9 - there must be a "CX9" numberplate out there as well.

09-Mar-13
I am logging this photo of a Mini on the day that I took it.

09-Mar-13

06-Mar-13
Found this one "on the way to work". {Actually, I wouldn't have known it was a "superbug", but the numberplate is sorta bleedin' obvious. }
North East Rd, Adelaide, heading into town during the morning rush hour.

The camera in the phone was having a bad time with the light balance, sorry about that.

Whilst travelling from Hobart to Launceston, we noticed a Holden Monaro GTS heading northwards towards Campbell Town. We later noticed that a "Shaw & Shine" event was being held at the Campbell Town Recreation Ground. The photo shows two Monaros heading north, with the closer having the GTS logo very conspicuous on the boot and the personalised number plate "GTS 075". Yes, it is a case of the "bleeden obvious".

02-Dec-12
