Description

Shank's Pony is doing it the hard way, chasing down BINGO Numbers!

"Shank's Left Pony" is racing against time trying to chase down as many of the number "62" targets as possible. He locks onto BINGO Cards automatically and will stomp your 62 out of existance if you move him 1km or more :D

He is a Navy Blue Camo'd Systema with the expected exoskeleton. His Girl-Hiker-friend is Shanks's Left Pony  and he would love to track down more targets than her over December and January this 2012/13 Summer!

If you find him, take him with you and log a "FOUND" Entry. Then find him a new home and take the co-ordinates there and come back to log a "MOVED" entry. Remember you must move him more than 1km for his stomping mission to be successful!!

Please try NOT to hide her next to existing GC.com caches so he doesnt get stolen by  mistake!

Found this one on the table at the event for Australia Day for the moveables. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer from far away places to spend some time in the local winery before scattering to new places. Good luck on any further moves

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.

A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

26-Jan-19
Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....

Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

Spotted this one at a little mini moveable convention up on the hill this afternoon. Signed our names and left it in the care of alnic39 to move on. Thanks for sharing.

06-Dec-18
Met up with alnic39 after work and a group of moveables were complaining of the cramped space that they were kept in. So while we were catching up we let them stretch their legs. Got their autographs & they wanted to know why they were so popular again. Told them it was part of the summer games & they were cool with that.

After that we gathered them back up and put them back into alnic39 yesgeomobile as he was destined to place them further up the mountains. Thanks for the moveable & good luck on your journeys

Initially logged a find on this one in error. Collected a band of travellers, which I thought included little Shank's to move on again. Turns out little Shank's must have moved on, but the pick up wasn't logged. Oh well, maybe next time ConfusedClan Cerberus

Stopped at this location on my way to Sydney. It looked like a "Moveable Event" or, sadly, an unwanted dumping ground for them. So I slowly sorted through them and found the ones I required, signed the logs where I could and left them to party on.

I feel my gps coords are off, putting the gps coords into google maps and doing a street view, I appear to be in the correct location, but too far into the bush. I placed this cache right on the very edge of the bush.

Wonder how this cache flew all the way to Yarra (via Goulburn) from Comberton (via Nowra) ????? and why it's still logged at Comberton ?????
I wonder if it would ever have been found in a nook underneath the dilapidated stone wall of a ruin. Hubby happened to go into the ruin and bend down to pick up something when a section of this cache caught his eye.
Brick WallBrick WallBrick WallBrick Wall

Shame on youShame on youShame on youShame on you to the person who failed in their responsibility to care for the cache of another person and potentially sent people on wild goose chase, and risk the permanent loss of this cache!!!

We went to Gunning hunting down a trackable that a CO said was not at GZ where I left it. I am so glad I was able to find it. It had fallen to the ground and the CO hadn't seen it on a cache check in the dark. We found a few caches on the way home and stopped by Yarra to collect a multi. Hubby decided to go into the ruins of an old building (?church). This is when he stumbled across this cache. Calling me over to show me I was a bit bewildered as to what this cache was doing here but signed the log and replaced it.
When we were coming here I did a GA search for caches and TPs and there was nothing close by, and this cache certainly didn't show up. Back at the car I was in a hurry to go and hubby wanted to change baby's nappy, so I decided to log this cache. It wasn't showing up in my list or map so I searched the number I was reciting in my head. Finding it I was perplexed so headed back to GZ, picked it up and realised it was a moveable, so I have grabbed it. I would have been kicking myself if we had left it here. Lucky for the nappy change Very Happy

I had a watch on another moveable which is part of a bunch dropped here. It is a fair way down but I once drove to this rest stop to check on Macca's Mover which had been burnt to a crisp in a bushfire so a trip for 7 could be rationalised. The highway has been upgraded since then as well. A very cool day. I may be travelling this way soon depending on factors but paranoia set in - you never know. The hint got me there. (7 as opposed to 60, hey).

Hid them the way I found them, together. Accuracy not the best but the hint should help.

One of seven I pulled out of the scrub. Hadn't intended to take it with me but there were workers everywhere sweeping twigs, erecting a new fence plus a helicopter delivering water board equipment so they all jumped in the car with me. Oh well, a new experience.

Shank's Right Pony has joined with a group lead by disenchanted Gnomes in the occupation of this tract of land, the aim being to secede from Australia and create their own independent country.
However with Gnomes in charge this may turn into a dictatorship, it remains to see if emmigration is greater than immigration.
