Placed for January 2020 game and to have a cache in this dragonZone.
I have always liked waking around this area even though the complete circuit is quite long.
Cache is placed behind the fence near the end where it stops for the watercourse.

Some facts about this locale...
Prior to European settlement, the Noongar people used the area as a source of water, for fishing and for catching waterfowl. In 1830, settler John Butler set up an inn at Freshwater Bay to attract travellers on the road from Perth to Fremantle. A wetland became known as Butler's Swamp, later Lake Claremont. After the arrival of convicts in the colony in 1850, work began on constructing the Fremantle Road. The government allocated land on the foreshore and at Butler's Swamp to 19 Pensioner Guards and their families, and a permanent convict depot operated at Freshwater Bay until 1875. A state school and church were built, and a community grew. A settler named James Morrison acquired a property and named it Claremont Estate, after his wife, Clara.

My grandparents Chwiliwr and tbh took me for a drive to check on the two caches.
Grandma and I saw this cache as soon as we got near to ground zero after turning onto the path from another path.
Log signed and cache returned.
Thanks Chwiliwr for placing this cache for us to find.

Chwiliwr, Gwawr and I went for a drive to check on the two caches that had a did not find on them.
The device had ground zero within a few metres of where I found this quite visible cache as there had been a lot of vegetation removed from the area.
Log signed and cache returned under some covering vegetation a bit further away from the fence.
Thanks Chwiliwr for placing this cache for us to find.
