I saw this trail of GCA caches appear about a month ago and have wanted to attempt it for quite a while. It ended up being a relaxing 3.5 hour drive around the country side. It’s nice to have a couple more GCA caches with a on them. I found a few different dinosaurs and other different types of hides. All caches found today were quick finds and were left at its current location for the next finder to move along. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s
P.S. The cache has been left at above coordinates for the next finder to move on.

Went for a long drive with Black Bunny, and we found a few of these movables, although we didn't move them.
As usual, GCA moveables left at a GC Mega can sit around for a while...look at the number of trackables still listed at any Mega.
Any moveables still listed at the Queanbeyan Mega are currently being rounded up and will be moved on as soon as possible.

If it'd been hot at the Clear Waters Event, I'd have been tempted to give this a go... Spotted on the moveables table along with 60+ others... phew, that's a lot of logging! TFTM GJMMelb.

Picked up along with quite a few others and they are now all on their way to Bendigo via Echuca over the next couple of days.
Having had a smooth trip on the Spirit of Tasmania, and an equally smooth trip by vehicle northwards, this moveable is now comfortably residing at Shepparton until it is collected to continue its journey
We collected this one last night in Devonport, after a lovely farewell dinner with 2y’stassies
Today he is waiting to board the Spirit of Tasmania to start a new adventure on the mainland
Thanks for the opportunity of moving him
And hopefully another footstep towards my destination

On our recent trip to the south of the state we collected up a few moveable caches, today they were passed on to another team who will help them continue their journeys, thanks for travelling with us for a bit
Out and about again in the south of the state. This was a quick find in a location we've visited before to collect moveables, we seem to have collected up a few moveable caches this weekend and will move them towards the north of the state in the next few days. TFTC

Journey or Destination
Game Period: 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
It is sometimes said [citation needed] that the game of geocaching is not about the destination it is about the journey. This game is about the choices you make in the experience of the journey or the destination.
On your entry to the game you will be asked to create a playing field with a number of ground tiles. Your playing field is a grid 20 x 20 ground tiles making a total number of 400 possible steps you can take on your journey or destination. You choose whether you want to find and follow the path or whether you wanted to meander around. A playing field is unique to each player so there is no benefit in teaming up to beat the system through brute force.
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath. There are a number of different ground tiles that will be revealed when you click on your playing field. It should be noted that there are no punishments for clicking a tile but there will not always be the reward you were hoping for as you reveal each tile.
Dirt. The ground beneath the ground tile is just plain old brown dirt.
Dirt with some points. The ground beneath the tile is brown dirt but it has some points associated with it.
Concrete. The ground beneath is part of the pathway that will lead you on your way to your destination but has no point value.
Start. A concrete ground tile that has a blue map marker.
Destination. A ground tile that has a green map marker.
Meandering around and avoiding the path will accumulate points that will be used to place on you the ladder of wanderers. The more you stay off the path the higher the number of points you will accumulate and it will be your journey that will be the determining factor in whether you place into a prize winning position. You are free to select any ground tile to click on; they do not need to be next to each other.
Trying to find the path may mean you strike out on the dirt until you eventually come across the path and as a geocacher who can't say that this isn't a tried and true method. Once you find the path however will you try and follow the path as it changes direction around your playing field? Do you go North, South, East or West to try and find the next concrete tile along the path? If you head one way are you heading towards the start or towards the destination? When you do happen upon the destination tile then you will automatically be in a winning position.
At any point you are free to change from the journey to the destination and vice versa but you won't be able to regenerate your playing field. You are also free to keep playing as long as you have qualifying geocaches, accumulating more and more dirt tile points and placing you higher and higher on the ladder.
Qualifying geocaches fall into two categories. Finds and Hides.
A qualifying find is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date prior to the game commencing
The geocache was logged by you on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache was physically found by you during the game period
The geocache is not owned by you unless it is a moveable geocache
The geocache has not previously been found by you during the game period
The geocache is one of the following types:
Burke and Wills
Moveable (you will qualify only once for a find on a moveable geocache)
Traditional
TrigPoint
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
A qualifying hide is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date after the game has commenced
The geocache was published on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache has a container size of regular or larger (Note: A regular geocache has a volume of 1 litre or more)
The geocache is one of the following types:
Moveable
Traditional
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
The game tracking mechanism relies upon your honesty when logging geocaches as found or hidden.
The games administrators will undertake verification of a statistically significant number of logs.
Players who continually log inaccurate information will be disqualified from the game. The game administrators decision is final.
The game administrators will subtract qualifying hide or find geocaches from your tally if they are found to be not genuine.
The game administrators reserve the right to provide clarifications to the rules at any point during the game.
Don't forget to claim your limited time game trophies, if your qualify, while the game is in progress. Once the game completes the ability to claim your trophies is lost for ever.

So what do you do on the last day of 6x points, you go for a 300 km drive to rescue a few moveables before winter really arrives in the far South. Headed off for the drive to Lune River after hiding a few moveables at Rosny and picking up an archived moveable on the domain. It is always a lovely drive through the countryside. Arrived at GZ and Air Transport Bingo was well and truly hidden. After a few minutes of searching in lots of cutting grass as per the hint, ATB was located. Now on to the next. Will move on soon. Hi GJMMelb
A three day trip to the North West Coast of Tasmania
Travel:
Started at Huonville through the Lakes Highway on the central Plateau to Deloraine and out to Sisters Beach; back to Somerset for the night. Various places visited through the next day finding caches, mainly in the Penguin area and back to Goat Island Reserve for the night.
Day three, I was caching around Ulverstone and then back to Huonville.
Total kilometres travelled was 1006 kilometres
Found 16 caches during day 1, 26 on day two and 12 on day three – total 54 found and two DNFs.
Walking:
Over the three days, I took 32664 steps burning 5791 calories to cover a distance of 25.51 kilometres in finding the 54 caches.
This cache:
Wasn't going to do this cache due to muggles being in the vicinity; so went off and did another one elsewhere
That done, thought more about it and returned to look for it.
Great cache; enjoyed immensely as I did the search - Most enjoyable find!
It was Sainted at 1720 hours
The scene is so gorgeous here; great spot

Ready for collection from a northern team. Where will Air end up next?
We spotted Air Transport Bingo at the recent catch up event. As he had liked staying with us previously, he came with us for another short visit. Will move on soon.
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and we will use this find against one of the scavenges.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
We have had fun participating and as this is the last week it will soon be over. Then what do we do? Thanks to all the cache owners who have placed caches that meet the scavenge criteria for us to find. Go Tassie.
We no longer need to do such lengthy logs as we have received the virtual trophy "I write treatises for a living" averaging 150 words per finds on valid dragonZone caches.
Edited to show found after move as we have him

There was a commotion at the door and we found fifteen moveables looking for a bed for the night. Not sure they will think it was a luxurious resort after fighting for space in a couple of boxes on the couch that they had to share with the another guest, our son's dog! After a busy night for the host the fifteen moveables were provided with a luxurious breakfast (apart from the instant coffee). Now Air Transport Bingo is ready to hit the road again. An interesting name, not what I was expecting as a moveable. TFTM
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a dragon zone virtual verbosity trophy. We have just received the 100 word trophy, so now aiming for the 150 word trophy. For all new GCA cachers, a warning, write a decent log to start with in case you want to get these virtual trophies down the track. Having now passed 2000 GCA finds with a lot of one word logs (on many moveables) makes for a lot of typing now!
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and will claim this find against one of the scavenges.

Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
Go Tassie, Go Tassie, Go Tassie, Go Tassie Go Tassie Go Tassie Go Tassie

Air Transport is ready to hit the road again after spending sometime in the workshop. Hopefully the repairs will hold and this moveable will enjoy some time touring Tassie.
Happy travels.
Happy travels.
Today we were caching near by and noticed that there was a gathering of moveable caches not far away. We made a slight detour and recognised this spot as a wellused rest area for moveables. We have found caches here on previous visits to the ACT.
When we removed the cover what a mottled collection we found waiting to be moved on. We checked the attendees carefully after thinking some looked familiar. And yes on checking logs we had met and moved five of these moveables before - these we left in the hide. The five that we had not encountered before will join us on our trip south.
Air Transport is an interesting idea for a moveable cache. It is starting to come apart and we will try to put it together before it goes out again. It will leave with us tomorrow and will be released soon.

GCA 1769. Found this one on the way home from work today with minniek.
Swung by on the way home tonight to find this one. We've left it in place for the next finder. A fun moveable from the game a few years ago - nice to see it still in circulation ( ) !

After a trip along the Hume Highway, this cache is now enjoying some sight seeing in the nation's capital
#GA2069 - 17:15; In Melbourne with the geohoney for a few days to visit the geoteen, and today the girls had a day planned around appointments, retail and the art gallery, so I was off a caching again! I had collected eleven new caches along the Western Ring Path which have appeared since my last visit in July. That mission completed, it was off to collect caches in a few more dragonZones I had yet to visit. After a stop over in Moreland and nothing on offer in Darebin, it was on to collect a couple more caches in Banyule, including this one. After success at my first stop, I headed off full of optimism to give this cache a try and perhaps a trip further north. Located the parking area without any issues and headed along the trail towards GZ. The recent vine growth and large trees presented some challenges and the GPSr initially had me searching 10 or more metres from where I eventually located the cache. Like a previous finder, I initially thought I'd found some rubbish, but the bison tube gave the game away. Cache in hand it was back to the geomobile and back to the hotel. TFTC GJMMelb

I have been meaning to come and find this cache for ages. SirJ-Oz and I finally made it in today. I wanted to find it so we could change it over from Cerberus to Phoenix and consolidate out hold on Banyule. Mission completed!
Found @ 18:18 on a Scavenger Hunt with LouiseAnn. Left it where it was.
I'm claiming this for the Summer Scavenger Series.
Thanks for the movable GJMMelb.

I have looked for this twice before, and now with the snakes sleeping (hopefully) i was a lot more adventurous in my search this morning. And soon uncovered the cache, which at first I thought was a piece of rubbish, but it had a bison tube attached.
Unfortunately I was riding this morning and could not take this to a new location, although I am a big fan of this cache
Thanks for the cache

Had a poke about, but it's a nope-rope/wriggly-stick kinda day so decided against going too far off the path. Nice walk to GZ though
I was worried when I saw the last log saying coords were 43m out and left with no better coords OR HINT but I managed to find the little blighter about 25m from gz. The only problem is that vines had grown up through it and the head snapper off when I pulled it out.
Thanks GJMMelb. I'll see if I can make a repair.
