Description
Gary the GeGnome is a traditional sized gnome with a red hat and is a South Sydney supporter.
He enjoys sporting events and he is looking for other gnomes with similar interests for fun and further travel.
Rules of the game
- Your GeGnome must be a genuine, bone fide garden gnome. It may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2015 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your GeGnome on 1 December 2015. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own GeGnome during the game period.
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the GeGnome to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the GeGnome provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If a geocacher moves your GeGnome overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the GeGnome mover may move your GeGnome back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the GeGnome.

Logs
We accidentally picked this big feller up, not realising we've found him before.
We won't log a second find, as that isn't in the spirit of the game, but will move him on to a new location soon.

Wow Gary the GeGnome is a rather large character. He shows some signs of some glue maintenance but other wise he is in great condition.
Ill need to work out a good spot to put him so he is out again for the next finder.
Thanks Black Bunny for the extra large GCA movable

Gary is a rather large gnome who enjoys the out doors. He is waiting in a reserve not far from the track.

We were on our way back to Stirling from McClaren Vale when we noticed that Gary was only a short detour away. We headed off down what started out as a sealed road but soon became a slippery clayy road. The heavy rain had turndd the edges into little rivers. We made our way carefully to GZ where we found a dripping Gary in the fork of a tree under sticks. We dried him off and popped him into the caching bag.
We'll get him out again soon.

This sure is one big gnome!
He was surprisingly well hidden, but thanks to the good hint, Gary was soon kicking back in the Navara for a quick trip back to J & J Central. We will let him rest in our backyard for a short while before re-hiding him somewhere new around Adelaide soon.
Thanks Black Bunny.

Had been to the airport to drop the wife, daughter and mum in law off for their trip to Melbourne and decided to grab some caches in Swan View and then started my way back around the north east heading towards home. Whilst driving I decided to take a detour and head into Whiteman Park. Whiteman Park is always a great place to go any time of the year and I parked up and went for a stroll and soon found this cache after disturbing about 3 kangaroos who were sleeping virtually on top of the cache. Back to the car and off for the next one. Thanks for the cache Black Bunny. Gary will be with me for as short while before he heads east back towards home again very soon.

Previous finder was a little slow in logging the move. Should be at S31° 50.738' E115° 57.072'
A review of this moveable shows the cache has been collected from its currently listed co-ords, however it has not been relocated.
As this is now over 9 months ago, the cache is being archived to stop cachers looking for a cache that is obviously not at the listed co-ords.
This is also done to help keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date.
If the cacher owner confirms that the cache has been relocated (by contacting the previous finder) the cache can be unarchived.

It has just been brought to my attention that I failed to log my "Moved" log for this cache. I'm terribly sorry! Please unarchive Gary.
After failing to find another moveable cache in this location I left Gary here, as it was a space suitable enough for such a large cache. Safe travels Gary!

I stopped by this afternoon and picked up Gary the very large GeGnome, and will find a new location for him very soon. Thanks for the cache Black Bunny!
dropped off whilst going for a walk to a new GC cache down the track.
Out country, rest stop, sleeping like a log.
Discovered the cache in the hands of Lazarus_68.
About to continue its journey in the West.

Sorry this has taken a little while. The big fella is now in a rest stop further along the Sturt Highway.
Picked up both this and Tealby's GeGnome from near the Yamba Roadhouse at the SA/Vic border today. I knew they were at the same location, but was surprised to find *three* Gnomes not two, so one of them must be a duo act?! Will inspect them a bit closer tomorrow. Had to leave them outside for now as were covered in ants. Gary is a big fella, isn't he! I am heading to the Barossa on the weekend, so will move on then.

Moved to this location. Took advantage of another situation.
Gary has managed to pull himself together and has re-entered the race......
When I encountered this big fellow a couple of weeks ago, he was in much better shape! When I found him hiding out with Shovel GeGnome today, he was literally beside himself. He'd come unglued and really lost his head. Gary is now standing in the repair shop waiting for things to dry and he'll be back in the race soon.....
I dropped two gnomes while I collected another nearby.
Thanks

The big boy is out and about again.....ready for the next finder.
#GA735 - 09:15; Spotted this big boy when I encountered Sol de lune this morning. As I already had a large stash of gnomes collected last night, I left him with Sdl to continue his travels. TFTG Black Bunny

Glory Glory Black Bunny....great theme and well presented gnome. Will move him on shortly.
