This one was on mylist of caches to try and find today.

After having lunch in Snug we started to head back towards Hobart. As we had plenty of time before the Community Event we decided to explore this area, one we had not visited before. As we headed up the hill we noticed the good views back towards the mountain and over part of Kingston. The trees however are now tall enough to obscure most of the view over the town area.

After yesterdays encounter with a little whip snake behing a clump of reeds Mrs Y'stassie was very wary at this GZ. She carefully extracted the container with her walking pole. No need to worry as all was snake free today.

Thanks for this cache BudgieTas. It is always nice to explore new areas.

Of course, everyone had to come home while I was grabbing/logging/replacing!
Nice view. The mountain/s opposite actually isn’t Sleeping Beauty, though it’s often mistaken for it. That’s Cathedral Rock and Mt Montagu. The actual Sleeping Beauty (Trestle Mt and Collins Bonnet) is visible from the Huon Valley.
Thanks for the cache.
