Description
After a lovely walk along the tramway I decide more people should try this track. My walk took about 2 hours return from the top car park but that included hiding these caches.
The Track is very easily walked, being reasonably wide and very small gradient

Hi Budgietas,
TFTC,
Today EeePees and I are out on a walk/ride on this track. EeePees has left me and walked back to the car while I find these caches as I have not found them yet until today!
I am now making my way home whilst finding the others along the way.
Thanks again,
KingSmev

"Hello Budgietas thank you for the cache.
Today after work I picked up EeePees and and headed down to Kaoota as I wanted to find two of your caches on the tramway today.
As we walked closed to the first cache EeePees asked if I wanted to go and find the last two caches instated, well that sounded like a good idea as it will make the mext walk shorter.
At this cache I headed up the bank and headed to GZ but couldn't find any thing then I turned around and spotted your cache just before EeePees picked it up.
Now to start walking back.

Thanks for the cache Budgietas.
Found with AlbyDangles on an 'after-work' outing, as AlbyDangles wanted to find two GA caches today, so I was invited to tag along.
It was a great evening for a stroll along this special (former) Tramway, track.
We walked down to this one, and now we're heading back up the hill.
Cheers, EPs

Hi Budge
Interesting what a slight nudge will make you do early in the morning for at least a week
Started out at the usual parking spot and continued the walk from there
Plenty of wallaby and potties around this morning
Weather; fine but overcast until I got to the first cache where it started to drizzle and continued lightly for the remainder of the walk
This cache was a quick, easy find
Sainted it and signed the log at 0904 hours
Cache replaced; now on to the next
The walk was a distance of 7.73 km requiring 10535 steps and burning 1200 calories Overall car mileage was about 60 km
TFTC and cheers

We had had two old caches, Black Gold and Kaoota Tramway on our to do list for quite a few years but today was the first time we had unlimited time to cache while in Hobart. After a walk up Chimney Pot Hill we headed to the top of the tramway walk just out of Kaoota where, after collecting the information for Black Gold, we headed to look for recently published caches on this trail.
It was a pleasant walk under the canopy but the constant crunch of the dry wattle seed pods under our feet was a constant reminder of how dry the under growth is. The smell of smoke from the nearby bush fire reminded us how quickly this forest would burn. It seemed as if we were viewing this part of the world through an orange filter.
Good coordinates and the hint lead us to a quick find of a large cache container. All was well with the cache.
Thanks for this cache Budgietas. We hope that the number of new caches will encourage more cachers to us the tramway track. Now off to collect Kaoota Tramway and hopefully to get another older cache ticked off our to find list.

After a walk up Chimney Pot Hill Mr W and Mr T decided to do the Kaoota Tramway Track. Mr W had never been on the track and was pleasantly surprised at how well maintained it was. He may return with the grandsons for a bike ride with them. Thanks for hiding a cache to find along the way. A great walk. TFTC

I decided to ride to the end and work my way back. I'm pretty sure I had lunch on this rock face with the family once, though I'm struggling to remember when we did the walk. The cache had no name/code in the logbook, so I added them on the first page and then recorded my *FTF* on the second (though I think I put the year as 2018).
Thanks.
Thanks.
