Description

A Collection of Seven different cache types in one walk - what more could you ask for.  In this little walk there is a Traditional, Multi, Gadget, Mystery, Podcache, Night Cache and an Augmented Reality Cache.  Hopefully, there is something for everybody here.

All the caches are on Chimney Pot Hill and hopefully will make a nice walk up to the Trig on top of the hill (There's cache type number 8).  All containers are clear 1L Sistema and are all the same.

As per normal in the bush - look out for snakes and other things that can bite.

Finally for this cache the GZ

At the Coordinates you will find a Sign,  The cache will be found at S42 55.ABC E147 17.DBE

Where on larger sign

A = Number of A's in Top Line (Title) Plus 2

B = Number of O's in sentence 1 of "Share the Track" Plus 2

C = Number of I's in sentence 2 of "Share the Track" Plus 1

D = Number of K's sentence 3 of "Share the Track"

Arrived to that the signs had changed so I contacted the CO and sent him a picture.
A rejig of the description and a set of coords had, I found this one after completing the remaining caches up on the hill.
Nearly threw this one away in haste, but logged and replaced.
TNLN, thanks for the cache Budgie!

out and about with The Rafas caching and these were in the firing line to find. after coming back from Canberra mega and looking at the cache map we think what could we do that tops Canberra! so we drove to Chimney pot hill and did some GCA caches in that area. lovely quiet and peaceful bushland. TFTC TNLN log dry. nice and simple the way we like it.

Thanks for the multi Budgietas. Out and about today with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. After a week in Canberra where there where hundreds of caches to be found in every direction, we returned to Hobart and found we had a much more limited choice of areas to cache. Luckily, there was a nice series of caches on Chimney Pot Hill so we headed there. Nice quick find at GZ. Thanks for the cache and the series Budgietas, had a lovely walk around the area.

We made an early start this morning in an attempt to beat the extreme temperatures predicted for later. There was a pleasant breeze at the foot of the road up Chimney Pot Hill as we collected the information that would enable us to calculate the coordinates for GZ. No problems here and we were soon at GZ where we found a well hidden cache. Container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this cache in the Chimney Pot series. Not much smoke around at the moment but the water bombing planes are already working hard.

"Hello Budgietas thanks for the cache.

I don't like doing multi-caches I always have trouble with then.
and this was no exception as I missed read the sign and had a couple of the numbers wrong.

Once the cords were corrected I found it quickly.

An after work (well, knocked off early) stroll up a favourite hill - though I've only every walked up it once before (every other time was on the MTB).
A couple of minutes being careful at WP1, and then off to GZ for the quick find.
Thanks.

FTF @ 12.25 pm. It was a cooler day and Mrs W set off to see how far she would get walking up the Chimney Pot Hill Road. This was the first of seven tackled today. A nice easy multi to start things off. I used another board closer to where I parked, no luck and then came across another board not at listed coords and the geochecker liked my sum. Saved me a few hundred metres. A fun hide. Now onward and upward. TFTM
