Description
A cache in a well sheltered place.
Somewhere deep in the forest of Narrawong is a box in a box.
The inside box is the cache.
A bog standard plastic box with a clip lock top.
The outside box is a bit sturdier.
It looks like it used to house a phone and was designed to survive bushfires !!
The boxes should not be hard to find and for all you four wheel drivers out there, less than a 10 metre walk from where you can park.

I can't answer your questions but I have one of my own - what were you doing up here anyway! Cache is in good condition, safe and dry in this most unexpected hiding spot. TFTC
Found it.
It's a pretty solid hiding spot.
If I was to guess it might have been used as a radio repeater/trunking or pager system previously, given the coax and telephone connectors.
I also seen an old enamel looking pot which had grown into a tree about 10 feet above ground. Good times.

too many roads - hard to find the right one. Once we got on the right road we located the big concrete box fairly quickly. tftc

Camping at sawmill park overnight so unloaded the bike this morning and headed out to grab this cache. Mr beetle who worked for Telstra for 40 years is fairly sure he knows what this box was for.

Well after finding where to log this find, which was harder than locating the actual cache I can log a find.
Found while attending the event at nearby Sawpit Camp ground.
This turned out to be quite a fun night arriving near GZ with five cachers in a small RAV 4x4 at night time.
How do you find such a box in the bush ??
Anyway with lots of laughs all signed the log.

Scouter 101 and I came up do a bit of mountain biking at the Saw Pit and decided we should go and find this first. After missing a turn off a couple of hundred meters from the cache and not being able to turn around on the old commodore we finally got back and turned where we should have and made an easy turn around near the cache. An interesting structure but why is it here and how was it found If only I knew the answers to these questions.
We took a coin each and the CO's.
